Eric was awesome! I live in a historical building in Printers Row and he really had to work to get my kitchen drain to cooperate. I am soooo glad he didn't give up--and he found a crack in one of the pipes that was just beginning to form. If he hadn't pointed that out, I'm sure I would have come home someday to find my place flooded. Thanks for the great service!! And he also made me feel better when he said 1) he's seen worse and 2) there wasn't much else I could have done. Sometimes drains just need extra help. His cheerful attitude really made a difference!!

We had a 10+ yr old hot water heater in our building that was starting to fail. We contacted Goode Plumbing to come out and give us an estimate on replacement. Michael Goode came out to do the estimate and we thoroughly appreciated that he took time to examine the hot water heater to make sure it needed replacement. He discovered that the dip tube had originally been installed incorrectly and so gave us estimates for both replacement and a flush/repair. We received both estimates within 2 days of the inspection. We decided to have him repair the unit and everything went smoothly. His work was excellent and he took the time to explain to me everything he was doing. He was very considerate and put on shoe booties every time he came through our apartment. We had this work done a month ago and everything is doing well. I would recommend Goode Plumbing to anybody.

Brian was extremely helpful and polite through the entire experience. When he arrived he put on shoe covers to not track rain into the house, took a look at the hot water heater and then sat down to draw me out a detailed diagram of what was causing the issue and the proposed fix. He gave a very reasonable estimate and answered all of my questions politely and accurately. As he performed the repairs, he came and got me at a couple of points to show me the issues with the parts that were being removed, and to show how the new parts being installed should not encounter the same build-up and corrosion. He finished promptly, cleaned up completely after himself, showed me the completed work and tested that everything was in working order, and the price came out to be exactly what was quoted. It was a great experience.

I called Goode Plumbing because my pipes were frozen. They had several calls that day but were able to send a team out to my home to fix my pipes. They were very thorough and made sure every pipe was fixed. before they left. Mike the owner came by a few times to check on the team. I like how they explain what needs to be done and are willing to answer any questions I may have. I use Goode Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. They installed my flood control system, fixed drain leaks, toilets, and rodded drains. They are very reliable and attentive to the customers. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Goode Plumbing refreshingly exhibits outstanding customer service. My positive experience began with Carrie, the wonderfully courteous and personable office representative, who actively listened to my description of what was occurring with the kitchen plumbing and responded with compassion and very appropriate humor. She was laughing 'with' me. Carrie gave me a 3-hour window of which to expect the plumber to arrive at my place. It was a pleasant surprise when ,on the day of the appointment, she phoned me 30 minutes prior to the beginning of that 3-hour window to let me know exactly what time Mike would be arriving. He arrived with a big smile right on time. Seeing I had hardwood floors, he immediately removed his shoes before entering, thanked me for calling his company and assessed the problem in the kitchen. Mike was awesomely accommodating by resolving a recurring issue of water pouring from the dishwasher 'open' drainage pipe into the cabinet under the sink when a backup occurred. He advised me how rerouting the drainage plumbing could remedy the issue and that it would all be up to code...no problem it ever there is an inspection. Mike ran out to purchase the necessary materials, not realizing the problem would be of this magnitude, and voila fixed it!! After installing the new faucet kit, he, without my asking, caulked around the sink because it was a truly unsightly. When I saw that he had taken the initiative to do this, I was so very thankful and, with a smile, he said he couldn't leave it the way it was. This is the ultimate in Outstanding Customer Service and Professionalism!! Bravo!!

Erik did a great job! He was friendly and professional. He explained what was wrong with the old sump pump and why the new one was necessary. I now have greater piece of mind knowing that I have a new one that I don't have to worry about. Also I bought a new kitchen faucet and asked him to install it while he was here, which he did with no problems. I am so happy with how it works and looks. Thanks again Erik!

Goode Plumbing did a fantastic job in replacing my hot water heater and the old pipes and replacing with new copper. I had a concept of how the job should be done and it exceeded my expectations. Mike Goode initially came to my home and listened to all my wants and concerns. He assured me that all that I wanted could be done. When his crew arrived, he forwarded all my desires and concerns them and they delivered. Develle, Jose, and Donny worked in my home for 4 days and were the picture of professionalism the entire time. The quality of the work was excellent and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. The reason we had the work done is because the water pressure had diminished over time to where it had to be fixed. One look at the inside of the old galvanized pipes (besides being grossed out) showed me why my water pressure was poor. You could not see through the pipe. With the work completed, we have excellent pressure on the second floor now. It was my responsibility to make all pipes accessible requiring me to remove paneling and some drywall (which I will replace). I decided to use Goode Plumbing because of the reviews on Angie's List and I am glad I did. Do not hesitate to use this company for your plumbing needs. They will now be my go to plumber in the future.

Within an hour and a half of calling on a Friday afternoon Mike showed up and was able to solve our issue with our fairly old water heater. He let us know what he was going to do and completed his job quickly. He even stayed longer to answer questions we had about potential replacements.

Goode was able to come out in relatively short notice, do solid work, and leave my home in better shape than they found it. They are good communicators, which is getting to be a lost art among trades.

Despite the work that was done, the leak was not fixed.

I called at 7:15 in the morning. The person who answered the phone was very professional and knew exactly what I needed immediately. By 9 am I had a plumber (thank you Jose!!!!) at my house. He was professional, courteous and terrific at his job. He had to rod out a clogged pipe that went from our washer to our kitchen sink. It had overflowed and backed up into the sink when the washer was on the spin cycle. It took about two hours to complete. (The stacking washer and dryer had to be pulled out. He did this with the assistance of my husband, but another plumber I had contacted HAD to have two people come on the call. It would have been so much pricier that way.) He was really efficient and neat about the work done. He cleaned all the debris up and the hall was back to it's normal look when he left. We were really pleased with the work done.

Power rodded the drain line for this bathroom. Took a while. Problem solved. Thank you Goode Plumbing.

Mike was terrific. He has always been helpful on previous occasions, in this cases he came out on a Saturday to bail us out after a pipe burst in the wall. He is thorough, explains what he's going to do, cleans up after himself. Very reliable, responsible guy. What more can you ask?

Our basement floor drain was backing up. I called Goode concerned that it was a sewer issue and someone was sent very quickly. A thorough job was done on cleaning out the catch basin and rodding the back line fo the alley. Unfortunately the problem re-occurred within a few weeks, because both front and back lines needed to be rodded. They came back within an hour of me calling and rodded the front at no additional charge. I was so relieved and impressed by the great service!

I'd left a message after hours and I had a call bu mid-morning the next day. They were helpful and found a way to make t out within 24 hours. Bob kept us updated on his arrival time, he was friendly and professional, and he had the problem fixed in no time. There was a LOT wrong with this toilet, and Bob could have recommended a much more costly repair. Instead, he found a way to fix the problem without spending money we didn't have to. As a small business owner, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. We would recommend Goode Plumbing to anyone!

Great experience. Mike came within the scheduled window and was very good at explaining the problem and the options to fix it. Previous trap had been rigged to accommodate height of pipes relative to the height of the disposal, and was also made of plastic which is no longer to code. Mike replaced with a much better quality brass trap that was made to fit a space like ours, and not rigged like before. Also, when Mike arrived he put a rug down outside my front door, put the plastic booties on, and then entered the house. I have never had a service call where the contractor paid such great attention to detail about tracking dirt in. Very appreciated! Mike was courteous and professional and I will definitely use him again for future plumbing needs.

I received two other quotes. One from Angie's list and another from a private contractor and neither asked for payment to give a quote. I am shocked that Angie's List could promote a company who will charge its members $700 to let them know what a repair will cost!

They were unable to quote me a price over the phone but since they were able to get the job done so quickly they lowered the price.

Mike came over within an hour of my phone call at 9pm on a cold winter night. I had been waiting on another plumber for several hours who said they'd be there that night. The pipe burst was very visible and and easy fix, so he only charge $250 the emergency service fee. It is a bit steeper than some other good plumbers, but Goode Plumbing is worth it. He also recommended a electrician to install a heater in our storage unit to prevent future pipe bursts.

They are excellent! They are wonderful. They are very prompt in their response. They would get to us right away. We have a great overall experience with them. One guy came and he was really great and another guy who was just in the neighborhood decided to just come by and help. They were both really great. They did a good job.

I obtained quotes from four different plumbers. I decided to go with Goode Plumbing. Mike Goode owns the company and came out to do the appraisal. Mike is very professional and a good communicator. He maintains a hands-on knowledge of plumbing and has a passion for what he does. His quote was slightly higher than the others, but I felt his assessment was the most comprehensive and on-target. So, I went with the feeling that "you get what you pay for." Well, I was not disappointed. On January 13, two technicians from Goode Plumbing - Brian and Donny - came to my home to do the work. They are at the top of their class! I really appreciated how Brian took the time to explain everything he was doing (in language that I could understand) and never tired of my asking him countless questions. He is truly a master plumber. The valve and pipe replacements went smoothly, without any hiccups. And, when, after replacing the sump pump cover, the sump pump didn't behave like it should (due to a weakness in that model of sump pump) they could have just told me to "contact the manufacturer or the person who installed it." Instead, they came up with a creative solution and left it working even better than before! They worked the whole day (not even breaking for lunch) and at one point, I started fearing "what will the bill be?" However, Goode Plumbing stayed true to their quote and did not "ding" me for anything extra. So, even though at the beginning, I had felt that the quote was a little high, after the work was done, I felt it was worth every dime! I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone requiring plumbing work.
