Goode promptly returned my call with key info: 1. I am outside their service area; 2. A referral to Direct Temperature (reviewed separately by me) along with some anecdotes about the level of detail Direct is able to provide. This enabled me to confidently contact Direct and get my problem resolved through them. I would not ordinarily remark on a referral, except THREE other vendors heard my problem over the phone and did not engage to help me. The fact that Goode made the referral along with their own personal experience of working with Direct allowed me to resolve my problem in 2 days. VERY professional.

He fixed my faucets for tub and shower to my satisfaction; he talked very extensively about the issues and let me make the decision on what was needed. The insulation of my plumbing pipes in a three flat building was a long tedious job, and he was very patient and generous with information with me. I have been happy with all of their work.

The main shut-off valve in my condo broke in the overnight period. they answered the phone and were able to call back at 7:00 in the morning to let me know a technician was on the way. he showed up, got to work, and the water was turned back on about an hour after he arrived. Couldn't be happier with how responsive they were as well as how quick and efficient the work was done.

Had hired them in the past for new water heater and new gas line to dryer. I hired them to install water-powered backup sump pump that I purchased. They did a great job and the system works great! Independent discharge. they could not use the pex supply as planned but provided copper supply without additional cost. Needed attention to detail, quality install, adherence to manufacturer specs, etc. ...got it. Will definitely hire again.

I needed a few minor items: replacing a kitchen faucet, repairing chain on toilet, replacing bathroom drain stopper & pipe assembly, and he clarified why my shower pipe has a high pitched hum (not enough water pressure). Plumber was Bob. He was very pleasant, did a great job!

Hello Mike Goode and Mike Davis, Develle (your service tech) just left our house. Because of Develle (on-site) and Mike Davis (on the phone and in email), this was one of the BEST experiences I had with a contractor/vendor! Mike D answered all of my questions was great on the phone and in email. He didn't once make me feel like I was asking stupid questions. He sounded concerned and guided me on every question I had. Develle was extremely polite and extremely professional. We talked about my ejector pump system, he answered my questions, he was friendly, and just like Mike D he never made me feel stupid for being curious and concerned. In the end, the work that Develle did was to perfection. He did the work as if I was watching over him. It was above my exceptions and I appreciate that a lot! I care about my house and I felt that did too. Develle also put in a gas value for our basement gas dryer. I wanted one for safety reasons and again, Develle didn't seem annoyed with the additional request and understood that I was a home owner that just wanted things done right. Again, Develle came through. Mike Goode, Mike Davis and especially Develle...thank you! Thank you for make this pain in the butt experience a positive one. Mike D. said that I sounded capable of doing the work myself but I trusted my instincts and Goode Plumbing was the right call to make. I'm very happy I did. The condo unit below me had a leak in the ceiling of their bathroom. It was assumed that the water came from my unit. I called Goode Plumbing who sent out a plumber as soon as one was available. Bob was courteous, through and professional and has a wonderful sense of humor. He checked the unit below me, my unit, and the third floor roof, measured and inspected every area that could cause any leakage. As a result of his thoroughness, it was determined that the problem was not caused by my plumbing. I have used Goode Plumbing for almost five years and, in every instance they have been conscientious, knowledgeable, and honest. They are an exceptional company.

Bob, the serviceman, was prompt, nice, and informative, and he did a terrific job. He also showed me how to clean the top of the drain myself, which will help a lot. Given the amount of time he spent, the price is fair.

Reggie the plumber arrived on time and checked the lack of water pressure in the kitchen faucet. Reggie determined that the water lines to the faucet were clogged. After removing one of the water valves, Reggie showed me the corrosion inside and outside the pipe. Reggie said, you never mix copper pipe with steel pipe when making your connections. That is plumbing 101. Both of the valves had copper and steel pipe connections. After having a total remodel about two years ago we expected the pipes and valves to last a lot longer than two years. The materials used appeared to be left overs in their bag. Reggie cut out both valves and 3 inches of pipe at each end. Within 21/2 hours, Reggie replaced the two shut off valves and sections of pipe and had full water pressure in the faucet. I am very pleased with the job that Reggie did and would call Goode Plumbing again and ask for Reggie.

Started out asking for pricing information as I was collecting quotes to replace our water heater. Was connected to Mike Davis who was extremely helpful from the beginning. After some emails and phone calls, he came out to inspect the mechanical closet as the space is very tight. He assessed there was less than 1 inch of clearance but that they would be able to do it. He also measured the width across the path that the new tank would have to travel to ensure no issues. The job was scheduled a few days later and the plumbers arrived on time and finished earlier than I anticipated. He walked through every faucet in the house to ensure hot water delivery. He also called out some things that needed attention that weren't plumbing related, so appreciated that feedback. Only complaint I would have is that they left the mechanical closet a bit messy, would have been nice if they vacuumed the area out. Mike was very helpful in responding to questions I had after the install. There were no issues with the install but we had some concerns that turned out not to be related to the new tank. I appreciate how he didn't dismiss them immediately but helped me figure out what it actually was. Was not the cheapest quote we received but they delivered with quality customer service. Will definitely call again.

The service took a couple hours. A delivery company dropped off the water heater and copper pipes early in the morning, and Mike showed up just after with one other person to do the installation. They were able to install the new water heater with a drain pan and tie it into an existing drain for emergencies. They also replaced an old valve that sent water to the humidifier in our Furnace (which was right next to the water heater). Finally, he took the extra step to install two extra copper tee fittings for a future project we want to do.

Brian came out and did an Excellent job! Professional and quick- cost me $265.00 but clearly fixed the issue.

Our service tech was awesome! He was timely, efficient and knowledgeable. Our condo association will definitely use Goode Plumbing again!

I've used Goode Plumbing on a number of occasions. The Service provider arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the likely problem with the existing water heater and suggested replacing it, which we did. While he was at our house, he also noticed that the steam shower had been inappropriately connected to the HOT water line and thus corrected that as well. He was able to provide a few other suggestions to make our living situation more comfortable (e.g. larger tank size) which proved to be good choices. The cost of everything (including new tank and installation) was between $2,500 and $3,000. Very happy with our service. Price seems a bit high (although I have nothing to compare it too), therefore gave a B rating for price. I would definitely use them again.

I called Goode on 7/20/2015. I made an appointment for a plumber to come out and replace two bathroom faucets, fix the hot water valve going to my washing machine and replace cut off valves in one of the bathrooms. The appointment was for July 27th. On that day, about an hour into the time frame in which the plumber was to come, I received a call from Carrie (hope I'm spelling it correctly), that the plumber was tied up and was not going to make it. She was going to check to see if she could get someone else and would call me back. She called back and another plumber was not possible, so we made arrangements for a plumber to come the following day. I just want to say, that while I certainly wanted to have the plumbing work done on the originally scheduled date, I was extremely pleased that Carrie called and said the plumber was not going to make it. This allowed me the opportunity to take care of some of the things that I would have done the following day. So on the next day, the plumber was scheduled to arrive between 11AM and Noon. Carrie called at 9:30AM and said that the plumber should be there in about an hour. Again, I am pleased that the plumber is coming earlier than expected and I get a call letting me know that. The plumber Brian arrived a little before 10:30 AM. He took a look at hookups to the washing machine, the valves under the bathroom sinks and then he sat down and wrote up the work to be done and the price. I agreed and he got his tools and parts and went to work. In order to perform the work the water needed to be cut off. After Brian installed everything and turned the water back on, he flushed out every faucet, not just in the two bathrooms in which he worked, but in the kitchen and a third bathroom and the sink in the laundry area. He checked the water flow in the toilets and the water flow into the washing machine. From my perspective, he went above and beyond what was probably required. I've had a faucet replaced previously by a different company and they just took off the old and put on the new. Brian not only removed the old faucets, he cleaned the area, and replaced the traps. He looks like I had brand new sinks installed. I am overjoyed with the service I received from Goode and the work that Brian did in my home. Everything is running much better. He did a beautiful job.

After returning from out of town, compared Goode Plumbing charges to my previous charge and contacted Mike Goode (owner) and expressed my concerns regarding his higher charges. He said he would look into it and have heard nothing. I also had to ask again for a bill/receipt for work done after I was told it would be emailed to me on 7/22/15.

In this old house nothing is ever simple and the jobs always grow. The estimate was high initially but many extra work occurred throughout the project that they did not charge for completely. Plumber team was respectful, clean and helpful. My best guess on the original estimate is that they know what they are doing and know what to expect from old plumbing. They even recognized that the toilet was not working as well as it should and replaced parts as needed. They stayed within budget, gave us options and worked with us. We have already recommended them to friends.

The plumbers arrived on time. They were very clean and professional. It was a simple service call but I didn't want to chance doing something wrong myself. It was not worth the stress or risk given the company's coupon. I would use them again.

I called them to install a water filter but the first guy that came hooked the water filter to the hot water source. They sent a another person (Mike) the next day to fix it but upon fixing it, one part of my faucet came loose. Mike offered to replace my faucet free of charge and we split the cost of the new faucet. He kept apologizing for the inconvenience, and was very professional. I am happy overall as problem was handled very professionally.

The toilet tank was leaking and cracked. They were really nice and did a great job. They didn't leave a mess when the job was done. He cleaned everything up after it was done. The service went well.

I think I have used them before, a couple of years ago. He was very knowledgeable, good at what he was doing, decent and good guy. It took him three hours to complete the work. I think the price was reasonable.

After the gas company found a leak in the connector to the dryer they recommended I call a large appliance service company to repair it. After talking to 6 Angie's List companies in that category and learning that not an appliance company but a plumber was needed to do the work I called several highly rated List plumbers. The first 5 either did not understand the job (though I read the very detailed instructions written by the gas company representative) or they never responded to my calls. (They will be reviewed on their pages). Then I called Goode and spoke to a terrific person, Cari, who said "oh yes, we do that work all the time." She was the first person to make me feel confident that I finally had the right company. She was so professional and kind and I was convinced Goode was the right choice. I explained to her that the technician would be working in a very cramped space and she said "I have the perfect person for you, Bob. He's tall and lanky and has gotten into tight spaces before but we are booked for a week." I decided to wait for him and was go glad I did. Bob was on time, extremely professional, easily worked his way into the cramped area behind the dryer, had the right parts with him, was very easy to have in the house and even cleaned the dust from behind the dryer. He was great. I couldn't be more pleased with the service from Goode and they will be my go to plumber for any future work.

Goode plumbing was extremely professional. Reggie gave excellent explanations of the entire process and did a great job. The owner of the company, Mike, was very helpful and his follow up was amazing.
