Description of Work: I called to make an appointment because we are having issues with our sink draining and an odd smell coming from our toilet. Goode Plumbing was booked through the end of next week and since we need someone here as soon as possible, I need to cancel this Big Deal and go with another plumbing service.

Description of Work: We live in an old condo building and some pipes have been upgraded, some not. Goode put drains on our pipes so that rust could be eliminated easily.

Description of Work: I originally called because my 5 yr old Bosch tankless water heater stopped working. Ernie (the technician) spent several hours trying to troubleshoot the problem. He finally narowed it to the ignitor(?). The part is possibly no longer available, so I decided to replace the whole unit. Ernie said that he could apply 75% of the cost of this service call toward the purchase/install of a new Rinnai. It took 1 1/2 days to install the new unit, as Ernie is quite meticulous and took the time to reroute the existing gas line to make it less intrusive into the space provided. He also rethreaded the existing gas lines with new joint sealer as the old joints were dried out and possibly compromised. He was punctual and kept a very clean work area. He also took all trash with him when he left. I was very pleased with the work and workmanship. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Description of Work: Trust Mike. He's honest and hardworking. He and Jeff did a great job for us even though our building was being exceptionally demanding when it came to proof of insurance and other issues. Quality work, good(e) people.

Description of Work: They came ontime, checked out my bathtub drain which was running slow. He rodded it and cleaned up after and every thing was great. I went downstairs after he left and noticed there was water on the floor. I called them and told them I had a leak, and they sent him right back and he fixed the leak which was way more work and parts than the original job for free. He said "it's a customer satisfaction thing". Well, I am very satisfied, and I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Description of Work: We just moved into our home and decided there were a couple of things we wanted - run a gas line for our grill and replace the hot water heater. Mike came out to discuss hot water heater options and we decided on a hybrid system. Bob came out to install the gas line and he was professional, efficient, and did a great job!Ermie (and others) came to install the hot water heater - they were amazing. They found that the prior hot water heater had been installed PRIOR to a door frame being installed and thus they had to remove a portion of the frame. Anybody else would have ripped it out and really made the repair of that my problem. Ernie and his colleague (sorry - I forgot his name!) were careful, meticulous, and really paid attention to detail. When they were behind schedule due to the hiccup of the weird configuration, they "called for back up" - Jeff came, and then Mike (Goode) came out - they were here until 1115 pm as they did not want to leave until all was up and running with nothing left to do.....they even reinstalled the door frame (and did a great job at that!)Can't say enough about these guys -

Description of Work: My disposal had broken which prevented me from using my kitchen sink. I called Goode Plumbing and arranged for themto come to my home at 8:00 am since this wasn't an emergency. The plumber was prompt and quickly fixed the problem.Also, I received a Angie's List discount. He completed his work in about 30 minutes or less.

Description of Work: Mike worked on basement toiet which ran continually. First he tighten everything to the extent that we turned the water off, and dumped a bucket of water into the bow to flush. He responded immediately to my request to return, but still he did not repair the toilet. We finally worked on it ourselves. He did work on a second floor toilet which seems to be working fine.

Description of Work: Goode Plumbing was called to inspect our buildings non-working water heater. Mike came the same day I placed the original call, diagnosed the issue and made the necessary repairs.

Description of Work: I thought I was able to complete the repair just before the man arrived . I explained the situation to the repair man and he did not charge me anything. How great was that. I wil certainly use them again and would highly recommend them so far.I could not complete the entire repair and am calling them back again.

Description of Work: we used Goode 2 times in a short period. Once because our water heater wasn't working properly. The owner came out quickly and explained our options to us about extending the life of our current heater or buying a new heater. We ended up buying a new heater based on all the information her provided. They were punctual, professional, and their work was excellent. We then had a problem with our pump (unrelated) which resulted in a flood in our basement. They came out quickly and addressed the problem effeciently.

Description of Work: We had the plumber install new guts in a leaking toilet in the townhouse we just purchased. He did a great job, and fixed a leak as well. He also explained where all the water valves and gas valves and sumppump valves were- he was extremely courteous and professional. We thought the price a tad high, but were very happy with service.

Description of Work: Mike answered my call and scheduled a time to come out the next day. He was on time, and he did a great job. He went out and got the needed parts and finished up the same day. He fixed the hose on our kitchen sink faucet.

Description of Work: Was a simple clothes washer hook up but when I tried it, the connection leaked every time. It looked like the valve was bad which went beyond my expertise. Ended up that I was using the wrong washer size. Dumb on my part but they didn't make me feel bad for it. I know of plumbers who charge a minimum of $200 or $250 so to walk away from this at $150 was a bargain in my mind

Description of Work: Originally, they were one of the companies I had called and I never heard back. Apparently, they were having problems with their server. I was a little disappointed by that but then he called me back and said he was having problems with his computer as well. He said there was no way to reach me at the time. They did end up doing some plumbing work in my kitchen.
