Description of Work: They're marvelous! I had a garbage disposal that exploded, so I had them remove it since I had acid all over everything. I then bought a sink and faucet from somewhere else, and Goode installed it.

Description of Work: we have called Goode a few times for plumbing issues... this time Mike said he'd come by. and although the office didn't know, he reconfirmed and was there. we had gotten a quote from Blanton about our backed up toliets for close to $500, to remove toliet etc from when the Plumber was on-site giving an estimate. Mike Goode told me over the phone, it could be the same amount. but when Mike arrived, he was able to fix the issue in 10 minutes, by holding open the flush valve. toliets fixed, and cost $0. Mike didn't charge us for this! (We have also used them before to fix a water heater, i don't remember the cost, but were also happy with the service) Mike and team might take an extra day to get to you, but is worth it!

Description of Work: Outdoor drain backed up. Came out to check it. Turns out by the time they came out the clog had cleaned itself up. Very satisfied with the service. Only complaint is that the first available appointment was almost two weeks from when I called.

Description of Work: Contacted Mike Goode about a plumbing problem and he suggested a fix over the phone at no charge. We have also used his company for faucet replacements, leaky pipe repairs, and clogged drains. They always provide excellent service at a fair price.

Description of Work: Repalaced plumbing under kitchen sink that contractor installed and was not up to code and leaking. Repalced p trap attached to kitchen disposal. Replaced seal in bathroom sonk that was leaking. Was at my house for over two hours doo g the work.

Description of Work: The plumber came early, so it is hard to knock them for punctuality; however, some users might not like an early arrival. The cost seemed somewhat made up in the guy's head, but he was nice and worked quickly. I had to have the refill valve replaced on my toilet. For $220, I will do it myself next time; but if I really need a plumber, I will give them a call if it is an emergency. Otherwise, I would do some cost comparison first.

Description of Work: Came out to eval sump pump - was broken and needed to be replaced. Tech did not have sump pump with him, but was able to quickly get new one. Goode was professional, friendly, and fast.

Description of Work: One day I stopped getting hot water. My research led me to believe that the (7yr old) water tank needed cleaning and/or the flame sensor rod was covered with debris/sediment or just not working in general. I purchased a deal on AL for Goode Plumbing for a tank cleaning and I'm so happy that I did. The gentlemen that came out to visit really spent time assessing the situation and then applying the best remedy for it - and he was kind enough to explain to me what was going on throughout the whole process. He even replaced the water heater drain valve with their own (he explained it was for efficiency) and left me with tips and tricks to help maintain the tank long term. Suffice it to say, it's been roughly 6 mo's since I had the service call and hot water has not been an issue since; the tank behaves like new - kicks on with no issues. And the price was so right! I'm very pleased with the professionalism and rare brand of quality Customer Service I experienced with Goode Plumbing's representatives (also talked to a very nice woman in the office). I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: I had this company come out and inspect my sump pump to make sure it was in working order. The pump was fine and I was told it should last another 3 years.

Description of Work: Cleared stuck drain, included replacing a section of pipe. Not the lowest bid, but came in time, explained everything, found and fixed the problem, and cleaned up after. Charged what they said they would. Also the guys were very tolerant of my curious 6 year old.

Description of Work: They were terrific about returning phone calls and emails and promptly set up the service call. However, the plumber who came said he was in a hurry to get back to a meeting and didn't have time to answer any plumbing-related questions (which were part of my service request). He claimed he knocked $25 off for finishing quickly, but that didn't really match what the company advertises as its Angie's List discount. $275 seems high to replace a bathroom faucet - it was 25 minutes of labor, I had bought the part, and this did not even include fixing the sink stopper.

Description of Work: Installed a new ejector pump and a new sump pump with battery backup. The ejector also ran off of the battery backup, but it turned out the outlet on the battery backup for the ejector pump did not have power. Goode trouble shot the problem over the phone and determined the battery backup was faulty. They came over immediately and replaced it with a new unit.
