They were very responsive and were able to schedule dates & times according to our schedules. They were prompt with getting parts ordered and installed. We had a lot of questions along the way as we have other equipment that needed to be looked at and we couldn't be happier with their professionalism.

They showed up when they said they would. The quality of their work was good. I will use them again in the future.

Mike Goode was prompt and courteous with his quote. His price came in on par or below other estimates. I elected to go with Mike based on his professionalism and confidence. Mike and another plumber showed up on time and began the work. Regrettably, once the job began, Mike realized the water heater was placed in a highly constricted space and some wall damage occurred during the servicing. The drain pan and water heater flush went fine, but I was somewhat distraught about the wall damage. After paying for the service, I called Mike back a few weeks later and explained that I, while I was quite satisfied with the water heater service, Goode Plumbing should reconcile the wall damage as the possibility of the wall damage was not explained prior to or during the work. Mike thought about it briefly and agreed, stating that he wanted the customer to be happy. Consequently, Goode Plumbing is arranging for the drywall repair and also installed a replacement garbage disposal as a gesture of good faith. Outstanding professionalism, work integrity, and customer service! I will certainly use Goode Plumbing again, and will recommend his services to the the 34+ units in my townhouse complex. We need more customer oriented companies like Goode Plumbing.

3 Sinks were not draining at all and a toilet tank was leaking. I had spent 5 hours working on the drainage problems with my own portable snake and failed. I also damaged a corroded P trap while working. I emailed late in the day on the 3rd for an appointment. The following day I was able to get service. Jeff showed up with at the designed time. He preceded to power route the drain problem but could not unclog the drains. Since 3 sinks were not draining he knew the blockage was most likely in the basement area. The basement pipe did not have a cleanout access point. With my approval he cut out about 3 ? feet of drain pipe, finding the entire pipe full of solid grease and snake marks from the routing. He cleaned out the remaining basement pipe and installed C.I. pipe with an access point. Jeff then fixed the toilet tank problem and replaced the damaged sink P trap. I believe he was there close to 4 hours including a trip to purchase supplies. Jeff was realy good about leaving the work site clean.

The experience was good except it was more expensive than other companies but they did a great job

Michael Goode came out on a timely basis, gave me an estimate, arranged a date to perform the work, made the proper contacts with the condo management, came out as arranged and completed the job.

We called them in because there was a leak in our toilet. They kept on coming in thinking they fixed it, but they didn?t. After coming back for the third time, they decided that we have to replace the toilet. There was a crack in it, so we had them replace it. We are satisfied with their work, and it is working fine now. They were prompt and courteous. They didn?t charge us for their 2 subsequent visits because they didn?t catch the leak initially. They just charged us for the first call. They didn?t try to stick it to us. We will use them again in the future to replace a bathroom sink.

He did a fabulous job. He got here right on time. He did really good work. The price was reasonable for the job.

It went great. Mike showed up early! For the water heater he put in a larger gas line, an in-line water filter, and changed out a bad section of pipe, and for extra credit he fixed a shower head connection that we thought was going to take 3 seconds, but ended up needing an extra part & more time. Mike's very knowledgable, nice, straight forward, and doesn't try to sell anyone on anything they don't need. I love it that he wears booties over his work boots to keep from tracking things through the house---my house is a semi-construction zone, so one would not think that would matter to us, but I am so tired of guys tracking dust & grime throughout the house that I consider it a breath-taking act of kindness that Mike does this. This is the second job Mike's done for us, and the first one went very well too. In other reviews people have knocked Mike for running late, and they'll even note that he called to give them a heads up, but they still ding him for being late. That amazes me because in addition to the booties, Mike's the only contractor in any trade who has worked on my house who has called IN ADVANCE of being late. That alone deserves a POH nomination. Come on people, how often are any contractors on time, and how often do they call before they're late to tell you they won't be on time? I have begged guys to just call me if they're running long, and it's only when it's a half-hour past when they're supposed to be here that my phone rings (if at all). Not Mike. On this job he was early, but on the last job he was running late for either the estimate or the work, can't remember, but he called ahead of the appointment to say he'd be a bit late. I nearly drove off the road. Lesson learned: no calls from Goode Plumbing while driving, could be dangerous. Keep up the good work and people skills Mike!

Mike came out to give an estimate. He was about an hour late for every visit we planned, but he made up for it with his professionalism and all around good nature. He explained the repair, which entailed removing roughly 5 feet of 2" steel with elbows and replacing with PVC pipe and rodding the line to the catch basin. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to jobs running late; however, Mike was very helpful with meeting our needs for late evening hours. His quote was ball park with other companies, but I felt that his attention to detail and his effort to work with the customers needs put his quote above the rest. In the end the job was finished quickly and neatly. I would highly recommend Goode Plumbing even with the slight scheduling problems.

We had a major clog in the master bathroom and that morning I called Mike and he said that he was able to come between 10am and 12pm. I took off work and waited for him. He didn't actually show up until well after 1pm but he did call me to let me know that he was tied up with another job. He tried to unclog the shower first but when that didn't work, he removed the toilet and brought in the machinery to try and unclog the pipe. Mike was very thorough and laid down a plastic sheet on the floor to help with cleaning up. He then fixed the leak by adding some caulk to the pipe which was great since he didn't suggest replacing the entire pipe. Mike then had to run out to a plumbing supply store to get the parts he needed to fix the other faucet. He was gone for about 30 minutes while doing this. I never received an estimate upfront and he just gave me the bill after he was done. It was slightly higher than what I expected but if that was his estimate from the beginning I would have gone through with it anyway. A couple of days later we had the same clog and Mike sent somebody from his crew to come out and unclog the pipe again but this time he didn't charge us. We have not had a problem since then.

Good experience. Called Mike on a Monday. He came and looked at our situation 3 days later. I told him what I was willing to spend. Got a quote from him 3 days after that. Quote matched what I said I was willing to spend. He came the next day to do the work. We were not home when he did the work but were pleased with the results. There was water left on the floor and some debris that I would have liked cleaned up but did not really upset me.

Goode is the best contractor we have ever used. From the start they were very responsive and quoted a good price. They were flexible in terms of when the work started, and they clearly explained everything they would be doing. The quality of the work has been excellent and the time to complete the job was very reasonable. We will definitely use them for future plumbing work.

Goode Plumbing was punctual, professional, and honest. They provided some suggestions which saved us hundreds of dollars. We will definitely call them for plumbing needs in the future.

All the new pipes look good. Goode thoughtfully included a new cleanout in the basement. Over the weekend, the second floor apartment's kitchen sink drain revealed a leak, probably caused by the vibrations of cutting away the old pipes. Goode came back Monday morning, and seeing that the leaking pipe was too old to repair, removed and replaced it with new PVC at no extra charge.

Great response time, the technician was on-time, identified the problem and executed the job with 20 minutes. He did a great job. The only downside was the steep price, $236.

Mike was very prompt in returning my phone call and scheduling an appt was easy. He was professional and reasonably priced considering the hassle of coming downtown and parking. He fixed the problem within an hour and I would definitely use Goode plumbing again.

Great! I e-mailed several plumbers on Angie's List to inquire about this project and Mike Goode was the only one who responded! He came out to give me an estimate and even bought the toilet for me as I know nothing about these things and didn't want to go toilet shopping. I, of course, paid for the toilet but the fact that he found one for me saved me a ton of hassle (it's a special floor mounted back flush or something like that). Anyway, he did a fantastic job. He even made sure the new toilet fit the cuts of the baseboard around it. This project required minimal involvement from me--just the way I like it! Mike was very easy to work with and very responsive. I would definitely hire him again for any plumbing needs.

We had not had a real plumber in the house in a couple years and our DIY repairs were starting to give way. Our utility sink in the basement was constantly clogged, kitchen sink had a chronic leak, and the pipe connection to the washing machine was corroding. Although the basement sink had standing water it wasn't an emergency and after a Monday morning conversation we scheduled an appointment for Thursday morning. The plumber arrived promptly and surveyed all of the issues. He suggested solutions to each situation and discussed it with my husband (I was at work). He gave us a firm estimate, we accepted, and then went to obtain the necessary materials. By noon all the work was completed (rodding, replacing a fixture, replacing the corroded pipe) and the work areas were neat as a pin. We will definitely use them again. At payment time he gladly honored the Angie's List discount coupon. We were very pleased.

We contacted Michael online and he responded right away. Came to our house to give us a quote and also recommended making a very helpful adjustment, so that the pipe outside our house doesn't crack in the winter. He fixed the pipe that was cracked due to water freezing, and then adjusted the pipe so that it was easier for us to turn on and off.
