Everything went great. The water issue turned out to be something other than what thought during the estimate. They were still able to fix it and the entire project turned out great.

I had hail damage from the big storm of 2010 and had another company do the siding and replace my roof. I had them remove the aluminum cover, attached to the house covering the deck, but unfortunately didn't ask if they could replace it. Found out after the fact that they said they could not. I had called numerous other companies to get estimates for replacement. I got everything from no-shows, no return phone calls, and an extremely high quote. Then came Jan (pronounced like John) with Globe Builders. I had to wait a few weeks for him to come out and I almost disregarded him as a contender. I am so glad I waited. When he came out to do the quote, he explained that he was very busy with the storm of 2011 and apologized profusely. He came out as scheduled to look over the job & listened to my requests. He was very professional and knew exactly what I wanted and knew his business! I had a quote within a couple days. My job was scheduled within a couple of weeks. The day they were to begin, although it rained, the guys still showed up and delivered all the material for the job. The crew, pleasant and polite, came back the next day to get started. At the end of the first day of work, I came home to find a slightly different configuration than what we had discussed, but figured there must be a good reason for it. As it turns out, the pitch of the roof needed to be increased. I like what they did better than what I had asked for! It took a day and a half for them to finish the job; they cleaned up the work site well. Jan came out the same day to inspect the work his crew did and to make sure I was pleased with the finished project. I am so very happy with my deck cover! Jan and Globe Builders is one of my top Angie's List success stories. I plan to use them again when I have some interior work done.
