He is a great source of information on the different types of hardwood flooring that works best in high-rise condos and helped me choose a new wide-plank flooring product that works best in this type of property. It has been three years and the floors still look like new and I am very happy with them! I also sell real estate, and Gigi has helped many of my clients with refinishing and staining floors before selling to help modernize their homes or install new flooring. Gigi always starts and finishes the job when he promises to do so! He is very reliable which is important.

+ -1 moreGigi's Flooring came out, and in one day stripped, stained and glossed the floors. They are magnificent. It was very reasonably priced and he did everything he said he would do. He came when he said he would. He did an excellent job and guaranteed his work. He even gave me the info for the product he used so I could research it further.
Description of Work: I have Brazilian hardwood flooring that a previous tenant destroyed.

+ -1 moreI am not surprised Gigi has contacted Angie's List attempting to deny that he dealt with me. Unfortunately, it is the way he operates. This is absolutely the guy I dealt with. I dealt with Gigi himself and he is a scammer. I do not have a receipt from him since he insisted that I pay in cash (that should have been a red flag, but I didn't catch it). I have attached a copy of his card. He stripped the parquet floor at the unit I own in January of this year. The floor completely bubbled up and had to be redone. His second attempt was no better than the first and subsequently he refused to correct the work or to give me my money back. I had to pay someone else to completely strip and resand the floor to fix the terrible job Gigi did. Gigi was referred to me by the handyman who works for the real estate broker at Baird & Warner whom I used to purchase the unit.
Description of Work: Refinish parquet floors. Gigi is a disaster. I needed parquet floors refinished after the prior owner moved and left carpet padding stuck to the flooring. Gigi was referred by my broker (my first mistake was not checking Angie's List). He talked a great game and assured me I would love the work he would do and that he would do it "perfect." He required that he be paid in cash in order for me to get the "great price" he was offering. He removed the old padding marks and then put a coat of varnish on the floor which promptly bubbled up and dried leaving a floor covered with dots. He denied it was his fault - he said the varnish was cold and that is why is happened, but "don't worry, I fix it." He came back twice and never did fix it. He would not remove the bad varnish and do the job properly, so I demanded my money back. He did not return the money, or my phone calls and I had to hire someone else, and pay him the same amount as Gigi to get the job done. Stay away from Gigi.
