Georgia & Company Construction Inc

I can't speak for the past, but at this point in time Georgia and Company is a full on sham company. The owner, who publicly shares he is the owner, Jay Mortensen did everything possible to win the bid for our construction project. Once he won the project, he took our deposit of nearly $15,000 and stopped communicating with us. The project was high profile and needed a quick turn around. Once we realized he wasn't going to be able to make the deadline (he had not selected anyone to work on the project 2 weeks after signing the contract) we agreed with him on the phone to part ways and he would repay our deposit. Since then we can't get ahold of him and he is not repaying our deposit. The amount of money he took from us is a life changing amount and I would encourage anyone to stay far away from this company and their owner. I sincerely hope he turns his company and his life around, because this is a sad situation for all.
