Description of Work: Bill installed a new more modern doorbell for me as well as updated my buzzer system. He has managed 4 properties for me and all the locks with Multilock systems. Buzzers systems, door bells.

Description of Work: My son lost his last set of car keys, and Toyota wanted him to have his car towed to the dealership and it was going to be quite expensive. We were all set to do that, when someone mentioned that some locksmiths can do this onsite. We came to Angie's List, and started going through the various locksmith references. The first one that we called didn't have the specialized equiment needed, and referred us to General Locksmith. When I called General Locksmith, they were extremely helpful and professional. They confirmed that they had the specialized equipment to do onsite key replication, and explained the entire process. They provided pricing (much more reasonable than the dealership) and availability. They were very upfront that they were tied up that day, but said they could be out the next morning. When I said that we really needed to get the car situation resolved that same day, General Locksmith graciously provided another reference who also does this work and recommended him. I contacted the other reference and within a few hours we had new keys made right in our driveway without ever having to get the car towed. I was impressed with General Locksmith for their great customer service. Although I didn't use them on this occasion, I will make a point of using them in the future if I ever have any time of lock issue or need.

Description of Work: Rod came out and explained everything about the process of changing out my locks for high securty locks and how they work. I also needed a second key for my car and he was able to do that at the same time.

Description of Work: I called this Locksmith and they provided an estimate. I made two calls later to have them do the work both last week and this week as well as an email but the company did not call back.

Description of Work: I lost the keys to my vehicle on a Sunday night, during a snow storm. I called General and they came out within an hour, got in my car, and cut me a new key. He completed the job in about an hour. Fabulous service!

Description of Work: I have used General Lock to rekey my common entry and business entries several times. Most recently after terminating an employee whose actions had caused us to lose trust in his integrity. They were called to rekey two exterior entry gates, a front and back entry to our business and warehouse, my personal residence and the common entry for all tenant units. Several keys had to be made for tenants and neighbors who share the gates and several of the keys were ''Multi-Lock'' keys that cannot be duplicated by a non-registered locksmith.
