It want very well, the computer was picked up and delivered. He only had the computer two days. I am more than satisfied with the results! I will say this, this is the second time I have tried to critic this provider, I think you need to have some body look at this program. There is no clear separation from where you have "*How'd it go? We want all the details."
Description of Work: Came to my home, picked up my computer, took it home and fixed it, he then drove back to my home and retuned my operational and fully fixed computer. He kept me aware of the progress he was making on the computer by several phone calls. All in all a very good experience. By the way this is the second time I have used this provider. They resolved the issue for me when my computer froze on me. They got it done in a day. They told me that they will get the job done in 24 hours and got it done in 22 hours.

I think they are kind of expensive. They do a good job and are consensus about the job that they do. Their quality of work is real good. They did the repair over the internet.

Overall, the experience has been terrible. We purchased a camera that the representative recommended was the best in the price range that we were looking in. He suggested we purchase a specific case for it, which we did. We gave it as a gift for my son-in-law. They kept the camera in the case and they used it once. The second time, there was a tiny mark on the screen when they took it out of the case. They took two pictures and suddenly half the screen went blank, so we took it back to Best Buy We would not exchange it or replace it; they told us it was damaged from too much pressure on the screen. We've only had the camera for a few days, and stated honestly that there had been no abuse to the camera; they told us the screens were very fragile on small screen cameras, but they wouldn't exchange it or refund any money. We finally spoke with the manager and he told us we should call Sony and that we should've purchased an extended warranty. We were never told we could not return it or exchange it, since the camera was damaged. The screen is damaged, but it's our word against their assumption that the camera was fine before they put it in the box. I feel they should have a better customer service policy than they do.

I informed them that I had my phone on speaker when the appointment was made and my friend was here, and we both clearly understood they would be out this Monday between 8:30-11AM. In spite of it all, they finally sent someone out to fix the problem at around 2:15PM, and he walked in with an attitude and began talking down with blame. I tried to explain what the last technician said the system needed (converter switch) and he acted as though I did not know what I was talking about and avoided answering. I told him he did not need to talk so loudly to me. It was unacceptable behavior. I would encourage you to find someone else to install your home theater system, someone who is more willing to help you. I am still sitting here with a converter box that I was sent out to buy from Best Buy. Best to you on your plasma or LCD installation!
Description of Work: I purchased a home theater 50 inch plasma/Boise system from Best Buy. I used the installation service Best Buy suggested, Geek Squad. I have had to have them out 3 times, with three different technicians, or Geek Squad guys, with each one saying something different at each visit. The last service was set up for a Monday between 8:30AM and noon. I worked from home that morning to accommodate their schedule, with no one showing up or calling by 11AM. I called them and they said I was not scheduled.

I told them I would take them to small claims court. They argued with me, but I won. They did do it my way but gave me a hard time. I will not buy from them again. They need to make their policies clearer to consumers. If I had known they would not give me a new unit, I would not have bought from them in the first place. I felt like they were playing games with me. They stuck to their policies and that doesn t bother me but I was really disappointed about the policy in the first place. I negotiated with them for three hours. They finally gave in because I was a headache. I stuck to my guns, knew I was right, and they were wrong. I would not recommend them to anyone even though they have great products and sell a lot of stuff. I will say the people there were respectful and everything like that but I just wouldn t give them my business again because of their unclear policies.
Description of Work: I got a TV from Best Buy. I got it brand new. It wasn't working right. They would not exchange it. They wanted to repair it.

All turned out great. The technician explained the warranty and programmed my clock and presets on the radio (that he grabbed from the old radio). I thought that was very nice of him. I went into buy the radio on a Saturday, and they couldn't fit me in until Tuesday, which was a bit of an inconvenience, but it worked out in the end.
Description of Work: I had a new radio, speakers, and alarm system installed in my car.

I TOOK MY SONY LAPTOP TO BEST BUY ON NORTH AVE. TO GET A LOOSE POWER CONNECTOR REPLACED. THEY RETURNED IT SAYING IT MY MOTHERBOARD HAD WATER DAMAGE AND THEY WOULD NOT FIX IT. WHEN I GOT THE MACHINE BACK IT WOULD NOT EVEN BOOT! WORKED FINE WHEN I TOOK IT IN! I WENT TO THE STORE TO SPEAK WITH THE SERVICE MGR. (BRAD?). HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP ME. I ASKED HIM TO SEND IT BACK TO GET PUT BACK IN THE CONDITION THAT I GAVE IT THEM IN. HE REFUSED, CITING WATER DAMAGE (I TOOK THE LAPTOP APART MYSELF AND THE "WATER DAMAGE" LOOKS MORE LIKE COMPONENTS GOT SMOKED DUE TO A STRAY SCREW OR SOMETHING!) I ASKED THE SERVICE MANAGER TO CALL THE STORE MANAGER, HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS THE STORE MANAGER WHEN HIS TAG CLEARLY SAID "SERVICE MGR.". I ASKED FOR THE NUMBER TO THE REGIONAL MGR., HE REFUSED AND GAVE ME 1-800-BEST-BUY. I ASKED FOR HIS LAST NAME, HE REFUSED AND TOLD ME THAT HE DID NOT HAVE TO. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BEST BUY BUT MY $1600 LAPTOP IS STILL BROKEN.
