This guy is running a scam. He was sent to me through a home warranty company because my 2nd floor shower was leaking onto the 1st floor roof. He looked at my shower, told me the leak was from poor caulking, and that the warranty company wouldn't cover caulking. He took his service fee and was gone in a few minutes. I then recaulked the shower as he advised, and the water spot on my 1st floor roof continued to grow. I cut away the drywall, and now can see the water leaking when I run the shower. I also noticed a water spot on the second floor where the third floor shower was leaking. I called the warranty company again, and they sent the same guy back. I was thinking maybe he made an honest mistake the first time, so I let him come. Bear in mind that if I run the 2nd floor shower, you can ACTUALLY SEE WATER LEAKING FROM THE PIPE. He was late the second time he came and I had to leave, so I explained everything to him and left. By babysitter was in the house with him. I found out later that day that this clown told the warranty company that all my problems were because of --- guess what? -- the caulking on my third floor shower. When I got home, my babysitter said he had left two minutes after I did and NEVER EVEN WENT UP TO THE THIRD FLOOR. He obviously just collects his fee, blames the caulking that isn't covered under warranty, and is out the door in 5-10 minutes. I am just appalled that he would blame caulking again when you can literally watch the water drip out of a pipe where it connects to another pipe. I see Freedom Plumbing has posted a nasty response to my review. Interesting that Dennis wants to discuss his "work" through a web forum, because he wouldn't take any of the four or five calls I made to him after he left my place. Again, blaming the caulking on a 3rd floor shower for a leak that happens on my 1st floor when I run a 2nd floor shower is absurd; in that case the water never even goes up to the third floor. The bottom line is this: after Dennis completed his charade of pretending to diagnose my problem, my warranty company sent a real plumber who promptly found several significant issues, such as improperly installed shower pans and faulty drains. To diagnose these issues, the plumber did not need to spend much time or cut any further into the walls than I had already done before Freedom Plumbing came. And yes, there was no service fee paid the second time Freedom came (I paid the first time), but Dennis didn't know this was my warranty company approved when he showed up. He still asked me for the money. Dennis, how can you try to defend your actions? You certainly don't need to use profanity.

Scam this I find so funny and a clown there's the joke I guess. If me or anyone who works for me has to go througha program I have to show me that they have the knowledge to work for me. I want to correct [member name removed] that be had should of been more informed before he spoke because he made an [profanity removed] of himself. Our visit lasted about 45minutes. We did indeed do inspection on 2nd and 3rd floor. We have photos to back our claim. Also we never took any money from him as my company was the 2nd or 3rd company there and his warranty company will back us. Also I don't go into walls unless the homeowner is home. Another thing I would have know issues pulling phone records for my employer that I attempted to call him I would be late 3 times. Last his claim was denied because I perceived his issue as split caulking and mildew which neither is covered. If I had it my way I always want a claim I run to be approved because that's when I make my money not accessing claims that aren't. So [member name removed] please check every thing out complete before you make public statements because that rude and just not nice. [member name removed] you know what they say about when you assume. God bless Dennis

He was nice enough, confirmed we needed to replace our pump, he just had to clear it with the warranty company. I never heard back from him. I called the warranty company, they told me the pump wasn't covered based on the analysis of the plumber but he never called me to tell me as much. I called him back to get his explanation or to see if he had to estimate to do the work but he never returned my calls. I know the warranty company shares the blame here but he seemed to be happy collecting his $100 and moving along.

we per our contract don't contact home owners unless warranty companies refer us to them. what home owners need to do is ask there warranty providers to get a quote from there service company then have them tell the provider to call you. to this home owner i'm sorry I had to work within there guide lines
