The three guys that came were kind, professional, and quick. They did a great job, and there was a lot of communication which made the move seamless. Would definitely recommend Fox, and would use them again for my next move!

My wife and I have used Fox Movers for our last move and we are very satisfied. These guys were fantastic. They handled all of my furniture and belongings with extreme care. They were also very pleasant to talk to and made the whole experience a lot less painful than moves generally are.

I was looking to find a good moving company that can manage my moving needs. I saw many reviews and some were really good. Based on the reviews, I called 4 companies and finally booked the move with Fox Movers because of their price. From the onsite estimate, it was clear that they asked for the least amount. The sales rep scheduled the move perfectly and assigned his best team. Thanks to the packers and movers Fox for completing the entire task without any hiccups. I would suggest everyone to go for Fox Movers.

I hired Fox Movers to take on the stress of me relocating. They flourished at it really. The crew was so efficient that they finished a job in a very short time. They arrived on time and inspected everything first. Then they packed up everything very fast. They carried huge pieces of furniture quite effortlessly. I was really surprised seeing how skilled and strong these men were. They were priced very reasonably and I really couldn’t fault them for anything. I never thought my move could actually turn out to be this easy.

Fox Movers was truly professional and friendly. They arrived on time as we had asked them to and our house was cleared within two hours. We were too much annoyed with the whole moving thing but they turned it into an easy and smooth one. Everything was moved, stored and settled carefully. There was no damage to any of our items! Some of our antique pieces were almost fragile but they didn’t ignore those things. They packed them carefully too. I was impressed.

Never used this service before but would recommend anyone else to use it to get suggestions and tips before hiring a moving company for a long distance move. They suggested a simple solution to what I thought was going to be a complex process. Made an important decision very easy!

We couldn’t have asked for a better move to be honest. They helped us with our move and I must say that they were wonderful! They took great care of me and my belongings. Fox Movers did all of our packing for us, it was a little bit more expensive but was worth it I can honestly tell you that! We are very happy with their services that they provided to us.

I called the week before to get an estimate.I spoke to Matt. I gave him a very detailed discription of what would be moved. He gave me an estimate of $250.00 The movers came. THEY were very professional. Very time conscience. BUT, when I got the bill at the end it was MORE THAN DOUBLE the estimate, $529.00. That was with a 5% AARP discount. I called the office several times before I could get a member of management to return my call or speak to me. When I finally spoke to Jennifer, she was very nonchalant. Her first reply was "That is the estimate we give everybody". I finally convienced her to see if ther was anything that could be done. She immediately said "I'll see, but I doubt it". When she called me back, she offered me another 5% off ($26.00). She refused to speak to her upper management. I asked her to send the form necessary to agree to that. I got the form, but decided that wasn't enough. I will definitely discourage ANYONE from using them. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and with our local news. We could have understood it the estimate was $250 and turned into $300 or even $350, but MORE THAN DOUBLE is rediculous.

Of what I can tell they're not owned the lift but they are really good. It was really a good quote. Actually the people that she had set up to do them didn’t show up and said they had it at a different date in their system so she sought to called them for the moment and they were able to do it. She said the movers were really good. They basically I guess it’s a 3+ hours and they didn’t waste any time. They came in and she was moved really quick. I think it’s about 10 miles far when they move her. It was mostly furniture. There was no packing to do. She has done her packing and they just pick it up and move it and unloaded it and where she went to there were stairs it was almost second level.

Seven and a half hours late for a move! The sales people are smooth and ACT like true professionals, but don't let them fool you. The company overbooks moves! The movers were wonderful (once they showed up). They told us that they were ready to go home just before getting a call and getting dispatched to us. We started our move at 9:30 PM! The move had to stop at 1 AM and than start up again in the morning. Horrible. We would have been better off moving ourselves via UHaul. I do not see that this company is licensed in Illinois. The sales team said that the workers have 2 years of experience. One of the workers who showed up said he had never moved a day in his life. He was wearing flip flops and had to borrow shoes!

They were very pleasant and punctual. All crew members were Hispanic, and only the supervisor spoke any English, which did make communication minimally problematic. The move took a full 8 hours because instead of sending 2 trucks as originally determined, they changed it to 1 larger truck shortly before the move, and subsequently we had to make 2 trips back and forth. I think the move would have gone quicker with 2 trucks. All the furniture and boxes arrived without damage and were put where we asked for them to go. However, I had specifically mentioned a 3 piece concrete fountain and a large slab of finished slate (tabletop) to be moved, and after the chaos of the move, we realized that those items had been left behind. My kids and I were able to go and get them, but it was a real struggle as none of us are as strong as professional movers. There was some minor damage to the basement door frame because they had to remove the door to move the washer and dryer, and they did not replace the door. I do want to point out that at no time did I have any concerns about their honesty (I have heard some horror stories about stuff disappearing with other movers), nor about their experience in moving a wide variety of sizes, shapes and weights of items. As I said, they were very pleasant and punctual, and they did work pretty much nonstop the entire time.

They were prompt and speedy. They were all pleasant and seemed to know what they were doing, took care not to dirty carpet or bump into walls. I was disappointed that they left a 2 piece concrete fountain behind, which I had specifically asked them to take, and some components of shelving were left behind as well as some other miscellaneous items. My family wound up having to make two trips back to pick up items that had been overlooked by the movers. I was not worried about pilferage or anything malicious because they were all working nonstop, and the supervisor kept his eye on all of them and set a quick pace with good attitude. It was a very large move -- post divorce after a 30 year marriage with ex spouse being a hoarder, and while we had cleared the worst of the hoard out of the way, I do think some elements interfered with the move -- made it a little less smooth and in need of additional direction from me. So, my results may be a little skewed due to that.

Horrible is the one word, I would use to describe the experience. Instead of relying on angieslist to select a reliable mover with excellent reviews, I decided to go with instincts and went with a company with least expensive quote. At first, the company representatives sounded real professional, friendly, and courteous. However, I got the true picture when the rubber met the road. They did not provide me a written estimate at home, assuring me that their on phone estimates are almost always accurate. On the day of the move, the crew showed up more than one hour late. One of the crew members was extremely rude to my parents, who were helping us with the move. However, it was just the beginning. The crew did not have proper tools to dis-assemble my son's bunk bed. They borrowed few tools from me and did not bother returning them before leaving. I had to make several calls afterwards for my tools to be returned. The crew wasted 2 hours of clocked time trying to figure out what to do with the bunk bed, as it would only come out of the bedroom door in pieces. The company only provided me a credit for 15 mins as compensation. Without proper tools, they were only able to dis-assemble headboard. Without permission, they decided to move the bed (with footboard still screwed) out of bedroom window (2nd floor), breaking the window in the process. They also cracked an armoire while moving it down the stairs. Considering the hassle of putting through claims, I only pursued window repairs with the company, calling them nearly 25 times to seek repairs. However, they kept bouncing me around, asking me to talk to one person or another.. At the end, I gave up. My advice to others, " You get what you pay for ." When you hear this company's name, run as far as you can. Move is stressful to begin with, go with the true professionals recommended on angieslist.. Get a written estimate at your residence. Don't deal with the stress!!
