Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

I contacted customer service to request an appointment and was greeted by a very helpful employee who was able to schedule an appointment the same morning. The service technician actually arrived earlier than expected. He was very friendly and diagnosed my furnace issue quickly, providing a detailed explanation of the problem and what it would cost to repair. He performed the repairs very quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Four Seasons to my friends and family.

My experience was fantastic. I highly recommend Four Seasons.

Our furnace wasn't firing, leaving us with no heat in 20 degree February weather. Four seasons was called and responsive within a couple of hours. The serviceman was polite and informative, and made sure he put shoe covers onto avoid tracking in snow and mud. He worked for a couple or hours repairing, cleaning and checking or safety/and or further damage. He gave me price quotes as we added service (the cleaning). I feel a got everything I paid for. It was a great experience over all.

Dominick and Steve were great. They worked from 10 AM until 11:30 PM to get the job completed, and said that this was the expected amount of time for the job to take. They gave us clear instructions on general maintenance and upkeep, answered all our questions and were extremely polite. I should note that my Dad was impressed at the job the guys did, especially that they made the vents look nice from the outside. The people who installed his side vents didn't make it look good, but Four Seasons put a nice cap on the vents so that if you are walking around the side of the house it's not nasty. Due to the melting snow there was a lot of muddy action in the basement but they threw down tarps to alleviate the mess, cleaned up after themselves and left the basement floor cleaner than it was when they got there! Four Seasons sent a different guy out about 5 days after the installation as a follow-up to make sure everything was properly installed and functioning correctly (there is no charge for this). He was also prompt and courteous. This company also does duct cleaning, and we will for sure be calling them to do that in the next few months. The only issue we had is that the guys unplugged the deep freeze and forgot to plug it back in. We didn't notice this until several days later and had to throw out $150 of food (I had just made a run to the store). We filled out the comment form provided by the man who did the follow-up, and he gave my husband the information on where to call to log the complaint. My husband called in the complaint immediately and was told that they would get back to us. It's been over a week since he called and we haven't heard anything yet, (which is why I gave a B instead of an A on Responsiveness). That was the only issue about the work and is minor in the scope of everything else that could have gone wrong! We are very pleased with this company and will definitely call them again, be it for general maintenance on the units they installed or for other services. UPDATE: 4/16/10 The company called me as soon as they saw my review on Angie's list as they wanted to wrap up the issue of the food we threw out due to the freezer being unplugged by the workers. Evidently the Angie's list review was seen before the other reports (phone and hand written), which is why there was no response to this issue at the time of my original post. They offered me 2 gift certificates to cover the cost of routine preventive maintenance, one which expires in March of 2011 and one which expires in March of 2012. Since I need to have this service done yearly anyway in order to keep the warranty active, this was a fair resolution. I'd like to revise my score to reflect "A" for responsiveness as they did deliver the certificates as promised, and in the time frame promised, and I believe they did respond immediately after seeing my Angie's list review. Great! I called Four Seasons because of their rating on Angie's List at 3:10 pm when I realized my furnace was not functioning. They said they could get someone to my place within the next couple hours and someone was there by 4:30 pm. He diagnosed the problem and showed me exactly what he did and what it meant and explained the issue with the pressure gage, that it had gotten stuck, and recommended I replace since it may act up again. However he also showed me how to diagnose and fix the same problem in the future so I opted out of replacing at that time. I appreciated how he explained everything he was doing and seeing and even taught me how to remedy on my own if the same thing happened again.

The Service Tech Robert was very honest,professional, and knowledgeable. Thoroughly explained why my 17yo furnace was not working and what my options and cost would be. I decided on having new furnace installed.The install crew showed up on time, approx. 4 hours after Robert called in order,.The two installers, Bo and Lucasz , did a great job. They were friendly, meticulous, and clean.The price was fair and the the service and workmanship were fantastic I highly recommend this company

Installers arrived on time (about 8:30 am) and finished the work at 10 pm. They didn't have a part they needed so work took about 2-3 hours longer than usual according to one of the installers. I wanted to pay with a check, but found out after work was completed that they don't accept checks. I missed this information on the quote. They should probably point this out to the customer at the time the quote is written. We are happy with the units, the price, warranty and 10 year free spring and fall service certificate. I would recommend Four Seasons to others.

They were professional and I haven’t had any problems with the boiler since.

We called at 4 a.m. (it was 10 degrees out and we had no heat). Someone came by 5 a.m., assessed the situation and phoned in the problem. He left three space heaters for us. They came before 11 a.m. and fixed the furnace.

They were great. The person who did the estimate came out within 40 minutes of my call. The actual repair guy was here an hour later. He fixed everything within the same day. They didn't try to sell us a knew furnace, they just repaired a few parts. The work was done well, and the guys were really courteous.

I had a good experience with Four Seasons. I was scheduled for a call with a three hour window and Michael phoned me in advance of my scheduled time slot to let me know when he would be arriving. He was true to his word and showed up exactly as promised. He was polite, clean and very thorough in his service. Michael was very customer-service oriented and took the time to answer some questions that I had regarding some general maintenance issues. I got the feeling he was in it for the long haul and understood the relationship between customer satisfaction and repeat business. Four Seasons will absolutely be my go-to contractor for all of my HVAC needs.

It did not cost me a lot of money and he worked quickly. He was able to use a part that was already there, it just needed cleaned. I did use a coupon from Angie's List.

A few years ago I made the mistake of using a company from the newspaper to clean my ducts. The end result was my wife very angry and a disappointment to us and our checkbook. We used Four Seasons for our furnace and a/c replacement last year, and my Wife wanted to have the ducts cleaned professionally so we called them out. What a difference, I finally feel our home is clean and we got what we should have got a long time ago. Their staff was very polite and made a point to make sure there was no mess anywhere. I was impressed by the state of art machines they had, and that there was no mistake. Had I known the mess that was in our duct work prior to the cleaning, I would have done this a long time ago. Great value, nice crew and worth every penny.

The installers were great. It was a pretty difficult job and they had to do it three stories up. They had to work from the outside of the building since it was a high efficiency furnace. They did a great job and were really professional. It took them about 12 hours to have it installed.

I have been very happy with them. They usually come out when they say they will; however, there was one incident where they didn't come out when they said they would and it was a bad time for me for them to put it off. We rescheduled with them after that and they showed up right on time. They answer my questions. I would say they are punctual 98% of the time.

We didn't bother calling them on Thanksgiving but they came out the next day. Most of the cost was the part. The individual that came out was very personable. He made you feel very comfortable with his level of experience.

They gave us the best price on our furnace and air conditioning. They did a good job of installing and made sure everything was up to code because we have an old house. I would recommend them to anyone.

The price was high, so we are holding off as we watch our expenses. I was a little disappointed in their financing. We will get another year out of our current system, but we will consider them in the future.

Honest emergency service, I highly recommend, excellent experience, this is a vacant home for sale. I called them after I arrived and saw heat was totally off, temperture in house was just above freezing. I was fortunate they had a tech in the area just finishing a previous service call and he arrived in about 30 minutes. Guiseppi anaylized the problem and initally thought the relay and another part had blown due to an electical malfunction which would have been an expensive repair due to necessary parts. While taking out the relay he saw the wire leading to it was loose, tightened it and everything worked. The house was frozen and he could have just as easily proceeded to replace the parts he initially thought were the problem and cost me alot more money.

I am very pleased with Four Seasons response time & the $79 diagnosis rate, The technician that was dispatched was very pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. Based on this experience, I would recommend Four Seasons HVAC services.

The salesman, who came out, was too sales-oriented. I didn?t care for his presentation. He kept telling me that the company was advertising in a big way. A good deal of his presentation was concentrated on the advertising budget. He talked negatively about competitors. I didn?t like his negativity.

I called Four Seasons come out to clean my ducts after my neighbor said how impressed she was with the job they did at her house. I spoke with the manager Ryan who walked me through the entire process over the telephone and explained to me what would be going on in my house, how long they would be there, etc. I was surprised on the day of service to see that everything Ryan told me rang true -- kind of unusual these days to get exactly what a service provider says you'll get. He even showed up like he said he would to at the beginning of the appointment just to make sure everything was in order and that the job would go according to schedule, etc. After everything was set up and explained to me again, Ryan left and the 2 duct cleaners, Mario and Ken, were here for half a day. They never stopped working. I've never seen anything like it -- no cell phones, no smoke break, not even a bathroom break. They took exceptional care of my home. I wish these guys were looking for work -- my family owns a small restaurant and I would love to hire them. Anyway, here's the best part: I couldn't BELIEVE the stuff these guys got out of my ductwork. Stuff that I have been breathing for who knows how long. This service was definitely worth every penny and now I know that I am breathing much cleaner air. As an aside, the guys pulled an earing out of their negative air machine (this machine was quite impressive) that my wife lost a couple of years back. My wife was ecstatic and the earring was worth more than I paid for the duct cleaning! This was a great experience from start to finish.

When I called to make the original appointment it didn't seem like the woman who scheduled the appointment was in a very good mood. I hadn't used them before, but the previous owner of my condo did, so they pulled up his account and made the appointment. She told me that the tune-up cost $119.95 but I could use a coupon from their website for $89.95. After I hung up I realized that she never asked for my name or phone number so they wouldn't be able to contact me when they arrived. I called back and made sure they had my correct contact information and was told they would be here between 9am-1pm on the day of the appointment. After 1pm came and went I called and was told that there was no record at all of my appointment, but that they would arrive soon. I again gave them my information and waited for their arrival an hour or so later. The maintenance was performed and I was charged $149.00. I showed him the coupon that I printed out for $89.95 instead of $119.95 but he told me that it was no good even though it was still within the expiration date. After he left, I noticed that all of the documentation has the old owner's information on it, even though I gave them my information twice. After missing the appointment, being overcharged, and still not having my information on the paperwork, I don't think I'll be using this company again.

I called Four Seasons for a check up and cleaning, which had not been done in three years. The appointment was made quickly and the guys showed up on time and were very professional. They put on booties and were respectful and explained many things to me that I didn't know (like if my humidifier was actually working or not (it was). They found and fixed a gas leak. Well, they found some faulty rings from some part of my furnace. And they even pulled out a book and explained very thoroughly why I should replace the furnace. It seemed to make sense. There is no CO2 leaking now, but it could happen. They even said they had to turn off the furnace for liability reasons. The tech gave me three quotes for three new furnaces--for less money than I expected--and it comes with a several years of service. So, why give them a grade of C, right? I am a single girl, who prior to joining Angie's List, has problems with contractors. So, I decided to get a second opinion. They understood and said they would beat the price (or something like that). Sounds good. Well, a friend of mine recommended a family-owned (for 40 years or more) Heating and AC company. People he has known his entire life. They came out and checked the furnace and said nothing was wrong with it. I wasn't sure who to believe. But, the second company said, "Well, I'd like to charge you for a new furnace too, but you don't need it." Good point. And since Four Seasons didn't clean the furnace, the other company finished the job. I'm not comfortable saying Four Seasons tried to sell me a new furnace I don't need, but...maybe? Is it possible the second company didn't do a thorough check? I told them what Four Seasons found, and they didn't say it was a problem. I could get a THIRD opinion, but I have CO2 detectors and the furnace is working fine, so I am passing on a new furnace now. Maybe Four Seasons will end up being right and I will have to replace my furnace, but if that's not the case, then shame on them.
