When I was first scheduling the service, I called around to a handful of providers, and Elliot was the first one to get back to me, provided more detailed information on what we could expect than any of the others I contacted, and was able to schedule a walk-through and first cleaning within a week. Not only is the quality of the cleaning fantastic, but I've also found Flor's to be extremely reliable. When our usual cleaner went out on maternity leave, they had us covered by another cleaner without skipping a beat. While the price is slightly above some of the other services I've used, it's worth it! I've recommended Flor's to a number of friends in the area and would encourage anyone looking for a quality cleaner to check them out.

This service is great. Elliot is amazingly responsive and serves as a great go-between. He's very communicative, and makes sure the woman who cleans our house understands exactly what to do, etc. She does a great job; we couldn't be happier every two weeks to return to such clean home. The $90 covers 5 hours in our home. It's well worth the money.

We found Flor's Cleaning Service through Angie's List after having poor experiences with other service providers. We have used Flor's for over a year and could not be happier. Although they cost a bit more than other services we have used, you definitely get what you pay for (they even dust the blinds each time they clean)!

Everything went better than could have been expected. The place was absolutely spotless when they were finished and I could not beleive it was only 100 dollars! I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again next year.

I have used this company quite a few times... they always try to accommodate me though I don't usually give them much advance notice...! The assistants are punctual and efficient... there's no wastage of time, materials or cleansers, and they do a thorough job...

Elliot came and gave us an estimate and then scheduled three workers to do the job. They arrived exactly on time, worked all day and did a wonderful job. They were very professional and the charge was exactly as estimated. One of the workers will now come every other week. We couldn't be happier with the service.

It went great. I chose Flor's based on all the good reviews here on Angie's List. I left a message and Elliot got back to me pretty quick walking me through options, scheduling and providing an honest estimate based on everything we'd talked about. Elliot met me there with Flor and some other woman to walk through the place and discuss options to be done. They called me when done and I came back to check out the work which was great. They used green products, which I had requested and the place smelled great and the floors shined. It looked so much better than the former owners had left it. The final charge was along lines of the estimate as well which I appreciated and I took advantage of the Angie's List discount which brought the price down a bit. I'd definitely use them again.

This was my first use of Angie's List and to say I was immensely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and the snide comments from your member provider would be the understatement of the decade!

They are great and they send you the same person all the time which is really nice. It is a pretty small company and you get really personal service. You always talk to the owner when you call and we are happy with them. They are little expensive. We would continue to use them in future.

I reached an answering machine, left a message, and my call was returned immediately. We briefly discussed my need for my one bedroom condo to be cleaned, and an appointment was scheduled. The manager (owner?), Elliot, accompanied a lovely woman to my home, reviewed all of the details of what I wanted cleaned, told me how much more they would be doing because that is how thorough they are, he left, and she cleaned and cleaned and cleaned! I have now hired them for every other week, because they have spoiled me so I can't bear to not have it spotless anymore! (PS - the only reason I gave a "B" instead of an "A" was because my new best friend was a bit late for the 2nd visit. I didn't mind, but I thought others might want to know.)

Flor's (and Hermila, the woman who does the cleaning) are AMAZING. Not only do they do a thorough job, they do exactly what I tell them. If I need windows cleaned I just email them before the scheduled cleaning and it gets done. I've had other cleaning services in the past (in another city) that have not done nearly as good of a job and cost more. My place isn't huge, but there's a lot to clean, especially because I have two cats, and they make the place so clean it feels like new. On the first visit I did have one incident where they locked my cats in one of the bedrooms (without a litterbox, food or water) when they left. I called Elliot and let him know that it was unacceptable and couldn't happen again in the future. He was very apologetic and even called back later once he had talked to the cleaners to find out what had happened. He was honest and nothing like that has ever happened again and I couldn't be happier with how he handled the situation. I definitely recommend Flor's and don't think they could do anything better!

Great. They started at the top of the townhome and worked their way to the bottom. Two women came (Lety and Isabel) and they worked hard!

If you want someone to clean better than you would and sparkling, sparkling clean... hire them and no one else. They underestimated how long my unit would take to complete, and Elliot only charged us the estimate. The girls were hard working and worked quickly and courteously. I was very impressed and will use them in the future.

The first cleaning was a little more pricey ($18 x 4hours x 2people =$144). After the first cleaning one cleaner is assigned to our house to come weekly. The second cleaning was more affordable ($18 x 5 hours x 1 person = $90). I have used other cleaning people before but there are MANY major standouts with this company. (1) if you are not satisified with the cleaning they will reclean. (2) Once you have your set rate (for example, ours is $90 for a weekly clean) the cleaner will always stay the allotted time even if they finish early - in Elliot's words "if we finish early we will find something to clean." (3) You can email Elliot the night before with any special requests and he will convey it to your cleaner. (4) There is an alternate assigned to your house, so if your cleaner is sick, a substitute will come. I like how the pricing is very transparent and the communication is very convenient (email). Some people may think $18/hour is expensive but I think that the you get what you pay for, and in this case, it is worth it.

I recently contacted Flor’s Cleaning to arrange for cleaning the house of my 87-year old mother, who is in good health but has not been able to keep up with general cleaning for some time. I selected Flor’s Cleaning based on the good reviews and its policy of having the same person clean each time. When I phoned, Flor’s Cleaning was not accepting new customers because its employees were fully engaged. Mr. Elliot Benitez explained that they only hired new permanent employees based on referrals from current workers and after an extensive background check. I asked to be put on the wait-list and was subsequently offered service on Mondays every two weeks. Because I had little time to purchase cleaning supplies before the first cleaning, Mr. Benitez volunteered to bring the supplies and absorb the cost. The first cleaning was challenging due to several years of minimum cleaning of the house. Mr. Benitez came to the house with a crew of two women and we discussed the details of specific cleaning requested. The workers did a wonderful job in a very organized, professional manner. I was very happy with the results. The old stovetop burners looked like new, all furniture, bath fixtures and appliances gleamed, and flooring and carpeting were thoroughly cleaned. Aside from the standard work, they did little things that made a big difference, like the in-depth cleaning of the grooved surfaces of two cookie jars on the kitchen counter. I am very satisfied with the service and hope to be a long-term customer of Flor Cleaning

Flor's came out to assess the size of the job and since then they have come out every other week to clean. The job is always done well and without supervision. They are open to suggestions and communicate any questions or concerns.

I cannot say enough about their cleaning service. We are VERY picky about our home and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and have.

We had a great experience. Elliot came by to walk through our place at the beginning of the appointment (right on time) and relayed instruction to the three ladies assigned to our house. They worked for six hours and truly, not a speck of dust was anywhere to be seen when they were done. After a bathroom remodel, dust has a way of getting everywhere and it is so nice to know that we don't have to worry about breathing it in any more. They did a fantastic job. I think some other places may end up being a bit cheaper but they did such a great job that I absolutely would return.

My one word description: wow. My husband called the experience life-changing. I read the descriptions of Flor's on Angie's List and wondered how it could be as good as described. The job they did wasn't as good -- it was better. I decided to contract with a cleaning service after weeks of having the best of intentions to deep clean our condo. I called and the answering machine said that Flor's was not taking new clients, but I decided to email on the chance they could come for one day. Elliot, the son of the founder, got back to me within 24 hours to say they would be able to come on a Saturday. He provided a list of services they do as part of a routine cleaning and answered questions I had about the oven, refrigerator/freezer and blinds. He was very clear about the hourly costs, and gave us an estimate of how long he thought it would take. Once he saw the condo, he said it would take another hour to do what we wanted, which was fine because we wanted to do this once and get the job done right. I had solicited bids from other companies and Flor's was mid-range. I decided to go with them because of the positive reviews on Angie's List and other message boards. We set up a time, and Elliot called the day before to confirm and to see if they could start one hour later. That worked better for us. Elliot and his two-women crew arrived promptly. Elliot did a walk-through, asking us about preferences for products (pledge or no pledge on certain pieces of furniture?). He gave us his cell number in case we had questions and the women went to work. These two women cleaned every inch of our condo. It was unbelievable how clean our condo was. There was not a piece of dirt on the floor - and we have wood floors and lots of wood trim so it gets dusty easily. The kitchen sparkles. This was worth every penny. Thank you!

They come once a month. They did a phenomenal job. They are extremely responsive and offer flexible scheduling. I don't give them too much notice and they are normally able to accommodate my schedule.

I set up a regular cleaning with Flor's. Elliot came to my condo and went over details of what I wanted, The intial cleaning he sent two people and I had them clean my windows as well. I was very impressed. Cleaned more than I expected, even under my sinks! I have the same person twice a month. She does a wonderful job. So nice to come home to a clean, sparkling condo!

Elliot, the manager, was great, very responsive to email and phone calls. The cleaners arrived just after nine and the first thing that Elliot did was to apologize for being seven minutes late - not an issue for me but I was immediately impressed by the courtesy. After building work to the upstairs of our house, including the removal of drywall, both the upstairs and downstairs were covered in a considerable amount of dust and their task was to clear this up and give the house a thorough clean at the same time. Elliot introduced me to his team of two and then took me through what they would be doing and the time they had allocated to each floor. His team then simply got on with the task in hand and finished within the time frame that they said they would. When they had finished our home was spotless and wonderfully clean and I was impressed by the way that they had managed to clear up the mess made when the dry wall was removed - anyone with the experience of this will know that the dust has a habit of lingering for months afterwards. Not anymore. I would have no hesitation in recommending Flor's Cleaning Services particularly if you are having to face cleaning up after builders have been working on your house!

I think Elliot was very punctual and professional. He came with the housecleaners right on time. There were three housecleaners, and originally we had talked about it taking about 4 hours to clean the entire house. I showed him everything I wanted done, making it clear that I wanted the most thorough job possible. He added that the housecleaners would take out all the drawers in the refrigerator, etc to do a thorough cleaning. When I quickly inspected the place 5 hours later, everything seemed fine. I figured it would be since there were three women cleaning a condo in a total of five hours. However, after they left and when I started moving things in, I noticed many missed places. They didn't even clean the freezer side of the fridge - there was sticky stuff all over and crumbs. In the drawers I noticed they didn't clean the backs and didn't pull out the drawers because there was leftover debris from the previous owners. Also, the railing was still dusty. Though I think they did a pretty good job otherwise I was disappointed that I spent so much money and didn't get a thorough job. I contacted Eliot about this and instead of offering an apology and discount he said that this would not happen again in the future. I don't think it was his fault, but the housecleaners weren't as thorough as I would like for the money I spent. I have had previous housecleaners that were less expensive and more thorough.

Excellent! I emailed the night before - it was a last minute request, and Elliot called that night to confirm his crew could come out next day. He came over the next day and was very thorough in his estimate of the work to be done. He sent 3 cleaners to my home and was there to ensure they knew what I needed. They were friendly, efficient, and very thorough. Our home hasn't been cleaner. I will definitely use them again.
