Description of Work: Water was shooting all over the place under my kitchen sink every time I turned it on. My trouble shooting as an amateur could not find the source. I was leaving town so called from out of town and called from there to set up a future appointment when I could get a friend there to oversee it. They came on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, left to get a part and returned. Problem solved in an hour or so. Plumber who came was very pleasant.

Description of Work: I called to set up an appointment and spoke to Mark. I had just bought a house and my agent provided FLS as a vendor to do a video sewer inspection. Mark seemed annoyed that he was talking with me and when I asked if they could be at my home in 2 days he said 'we are just not set up to be there that quick, its a really expensive piece of equipment'. Then when I told him where my home was he said 'oh Jesus' - my home isn't close to their office, but I don't want to feel like want to feel like my business is an inconvenience. When I called to cancel he was rude again when I said hello and gave him my name he said 'ok' as in 'am I supposed to know you?'. He didnt even ask why I was cancelling - if I was losing $320 of revenue I would want to know why. I refuse to do business with a company that doesn't treat the customer as if they are important. I called Reliance Plumbing - not only were they able to accommodate my schedule (how novel) and be friendly, they were cheaper!

Description of Work: Called to setup an appointment with this company. I left a message with the estimator and never heard back. They must be too big to care.

Description of Work: My tenants were having trouble flushing the toilets (2) at times, they would have to plunge them to clear the problem. I called Fettes Love & Sieben since they had done satisfactory work for us in the past & they had excellent ratings on Angie's List. When the plumber arrived the problem could not be replicated. He explained why it couldn't be tree roots in the main pipe which was a relief to me. I arranged for the tenant to call Fettes Love & Sieben directly if it reoccurs. So far no further trouble.

Description of Work: I had a number of small plumbing jobs that needed work. I needed a pipe replaced under my kitchen sink, a faucet replaced on my laundry sink, a leak fixed on my outside water spigot, clean outs of my drains, etc. The plumbers came on two separate dates, as they needed to order the faucet. Both plumbers (each date a different plumber came) were fantastic. They were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company again to anyone who needed plumbing services.

Description of Work: When Frettes came out the technician stated it would be an additional $200 due to the location of the water heater (through the house into the basement). When I called Mark to discuss this, he stated that I had told him that there was outside access to the water heater. This is untrue. Mark was short with me and very rude. I would never work with this company again.

Description of Work: Awesome we had a back up in our bolier room they came out immediately and fixed the problem within 2 hours- they are awesome and very professional

Description of Work: Two sinks with a common drainage backed up. Another plumber came out, rodded the pipes, and told us it was due to tree roots 30 feet out. He needed access to the catch basin and spent a long time trying to find the catch basin, without success. He suggested putting in a larger access pipe, with an estimate of about $2000, in order to be able to rod the roots. We called Fettes for a second estimate; the plumber who came out located the catch basin in under five minutes, told us he thought it had probably been a local issue and not tree roots at all and recommended against doing anything unless the issue recurred - which is has not. He didn't even charge for the call! We will always use this company for plumbing in the future!

Description of Work: I called this company twice to get an estimate for putting in a new water line to my house. The person in charge of this department never called me back. At least call me back and tell me why you aren't interested in the job. They must have so much work that they don't need any new business.

Description of Work: Came to fix a leaking shower. He knew right away what the problem was and solved it quickly. Something loose in the handle and he tightened it, was very honest.

Description of Work: My toilet was leaking so I hired this contractor to find and fix a leak that seemed to be coming from the bottom of the toilet base and I assumed that just re-seating the toilet would fix the problem and asked them to do so. I was apparently wrong as the leak started getting worse. Finally, after two additional visits, the leak was found on the side of the toilet. We subsequently bought a new toilet, at the plumbers recommendation, and had him install it. Now no more leaks. I would use this contractor again.

Description of Work: We thought that our pipe in our laundry room froze. Someone was able to come out in just a few hours after the phone call and apparently everything was fine by then. But he did check other pipes to make sure everything was running fine in the house. Although no work was actually needed, fortunately, I appreciated him taking the time to check things out. I did pay for the visit, but received a discounted Angie's List price.
