John did give us a discount and, overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the work performed and their professionalism. John, or our plumber, always called us back promptly, and he did seemed knowledgeable about what needed to be done.

They were very late but apologetic--it was the day before Thanksgiving weekend and they were slammed. They were very friendly and took the time to explain the problem and their repairs, and what we could do to prevent future clogs. They cleaned up well after the work.

When the manager of our highrise condo building insisted the lack of hot water in my guest bath was a problem within my unit, I called three plumbers. One did not call back for a week. One just gave me their price list. But Ed Findley at Fettes, Love & Sieben spoke to me at length on the phone about the issue before I even scheduled an appointment. When the plumber arrived, he wore shoe covers to protect my floors and was very personable. He looked at the bathroom and conferred with the building's engineer. They agreed that the problem was, in fact, with the building pipes and not within my unit, potentially saving me a lot of money. I would definitely hire Fettes, Love & Sieben again.

Ed came out as scheduled to provide me a quote on a battery back up system for our sump pump and a water filtration system. Overall the quote was around $4500. I then called three (3) times after receiving the quote to coordinate starting the work since they were the lowest bid and Ed never called me back. What terrible customer service.

Plumber was on time and very professional. He called in advance to notify me that he was on his way. The work was performed in a very professional manner and talking with him, it was clear he was very knowledgeable. Just received bill - job was reasonably priced.

Great--but ultimately--through no fault of their own--Fettes not able to help in the short term. Will definitely use them again.

Our bathtub drain was terribly clogged. My husband poured sulfuric acid down the drain but the plug didn't budge. I thought this was going to be a big problem. My husband advised the gentleman that came to our house what we had put down the drain, he thanked us for telling him. He (I don't know his name) was here promptly, was courteous, fast, and cleaned up after he was done. I feel the price was fair. The company also billed us. I would definitely call on this company again.

Both times they came out, their people were friendly, worked quickly and gave suggestions on how to avoid having the same situations happen again. Very good company to work with.

THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN THE ESTIMATE. THE PLUMBER ARRIVED ON TIME (ACTUALLY EARLY), AND DID A GREAT JOB; HE WAS PATIENT AND ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. CALLED TO SCHEDULE SERVICE FOR A MONDAY MORNING, AFTER LEARNING THAT YOU EFFECTIVELY PAY TRIPLE TIME FOR SATURDAY SERVICE. REARRANGED MY MORNING AT THE OFFICE TO MEET THE PLUMBER, WHO WAS DUE TO ARRIVE AT 7:30 AM. PHONED THE OFFICE AT 8 AM TO CONFIRM THAT APPOINTMENT WAS STILL SCHEDULED. LEARNED IT WAS IN THE BOOKS, BUT THE OFFICE WASN'T SURE WHERE MY PLUMBER WAS AND THERE WAS NO CERTAINTY REGARDING WHEN HE WOULD ARRIVE. I CANCELED THE APPOINTMENT AS I HAD TO GET TO WORK, AND I WAS TOLD THAT SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK TO RESCHEDULE. NEVER RECEIVED A FOLLOW UP CALL, EITHER APOLOGIZING FOR WASTING MY TIME OR ATTEMPTING TO RESCHEDULE. INEXCUSABLE TREATMENT, IN MY OPINION. WOULD RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER COMPANY IF THIS IS HOW FLS OPERATES. SEE POWER PLUMBING, FOR EXAMPLE.

THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT THE DAY AFTER WE ORIGINALLY CALLED. THE SERVICEMAN WAS ON TIME, VERY HELPFUL, AND ANSWERED TONS OF QUESTIONS. HE LOOKED AT THE UNIT AND TOLD US THAT IF THE WORK HE HAD DONE DIDN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM, WE WOULD NEED TO REPLACE A PART. HE DIDN'T HAVE THE PART IN STOCK AND IT WOULD NOT BE A CHEAP OPTION, SO HE LEFT IT FOR US TO FOLLOW UP. WHEN WE MENTIONED THAT WE HAD A HOME WARRANTY, HE DEFINITELY TOLD US TO CALL AND SEE IF THE WORK WOULD BE COVERED. THE PROBLEM DID RE-OCCUR, BUT WITH OUR WARRANTY, WE HAVE TO USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO HAVE IT COVERED OR WE WOULD BE CALLING FETTES-LOVE AGAIN.

I RECEIVED A RETURN CALL THE NEXT DAY. I WOULD PREFER THAT I CAN SPEAK TO SOMEONE THAT CAN SCHEDULE RIGHT AWAY AND RECEIVE RETURN CALLS BACK IN A TIMELY MANNER

THE PLUMBER WAS NICE AND HARD-WORKING. HE WADED THROUGH THE ICY WATERS IN THE BASEMENT WITHOUT COMPLAINT AND GAVE US ADVICE ON HOW TO AVOID THE PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE.

MARK WAS THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE. HE ARRIVED IN THE PROMISED TIME SLOT, WAS PLEASANT TO TALK TO AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM IN ABOUT :05 FLAT. SINCE WE WERE PAYING FOR AN HOUR MINIMUM, I ASKED HIM TO ALSO CHECK AN ISSUE IN OUR BATHROOM. HE DID AND WHILE HE DIDN'T EXPLORE IT THOROUGHLY, HE DID MAKE A SUGGESTION WHICH HAS SOMEWHAT HELPED. THE COMPANY INVOICES BY MAIL AND SINCE MY SPOUSE MADE THE ARRANGEMENTS, I'M NOT SURE WHAT THEIR 1-HOUR RATE WAS, HOWEVER, I DO KNOW HE FELT IT WAS COMPETITIVE.

I HAD ALREADY WRITTEN THEM OFF AS IT TOOK THEM 2 DAYS TO GET BACK TO ME. HOWEVER, WHEN THE WORKMAN CALLED IN THE MORNING, WE WERE ABLE TO WORK OUT A POSSIBLE VISIT THE SAME DAY! HE WAS ABLE TO COME DURING THE TIME I WAS AVAILABLE. HE WORKED FOR ALMOST AN HOUR. HE HAD IT FIXED & SAID HE WOULD HAVE REPLACED THE VALVE IF HE HAD ONE WITH HIM, BUT HE DIDN'T. HE SAID NOT TO OPEN & CLOSE IT A LOT OR IT WILL LEAK. HOPEFULLY THIS WORKS. THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND A BILL, SO I CAN'T REPORT ON THAT YET. HOWEVER, I CALLED THIS AFTERNOON TO REMIND THEM TO ADD MY ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT BEFORE THEY SEND ME THE BILL.

THEY WERE VERY PERSONABLE ON THE PHONE AND WERE AVAILABLE THE NEXT DAY. THE PERSON THAT CAME WAS ON TIME, VERY BUSINESSLIKE, AND DID A GOOD JOB. THEY GAVE THE DISCOUNT FOR ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO USE THEM AGAIN.

THE MANAGER (JOHN) WHO DOES THE SCHEDULING IS TERRIFIC, REALLY HELPFUL. HE GOT A GUY OUT RIGHT AWAY TO DO THE RODDING. UNFORTUNATELY OUR TREE ROOT PROBLEM WAS SO SEVERE IT COULDN'T BE RODDED FULLY. JOHN'S INITIAL QUOTE OVER THE PHONE ENDED UP BEING SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER THAN THE AMOUNT WE WERE CHARGED. HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE AROUND $200. OF COURSE, THERE WAS NO WAY HE COULD KNOW THE SEVERITY OF THE PROBLEM, BUT STILL WE HAD A BIT OF STICKER SHOCK.

ON THE FIRST VISIT, THE PLUMBER WAS VERY LATE (OVER AN HOUR) BUT WAS VERY HELPFUL WHEN HE DID ARRIVE. SECOND VISIT, PLUMBER WAS EARLY & DID A NICE JOB INSTALLING THE FAUCET. DIFFICULT JOB REMOVING THE OLD FAUCET DUE TO THE CONFIGURATION OF THE BATHROOM.

PROMPT, COURTEOUS, ABLE, TIDY. WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND RESPONSIVE. WRITTEN ESTIMATE PROVIDED IN ADVANCE OF SERVICES. SOMEWHAT PRICEY BASED ON ACTUAL TIME SPENT, BUT WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK.

JOHN MOSES (NOT IN ON WEEKENDS) CALLED BACK SAME DAY AND SCHEDULED THE SERVICE CALL. THE PLUMBER WAS EFFICIENT, NEAT AND EFFECTIVE.

THEY ARE PUNCTUAL, EFFICIENT, AND VERY KIND.

EVERYONE THEY'VE SENT OUT HAS BEEN GREAT! THEY WORKED WELL WITH ME TO FIT INTO MY SCHEDULE. THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH. VERY NICE TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME.
