It was not a professional or trustworthy report that he gave. I would never trust one person who said that the walls had to be broken into before calling another plumber, regardless of that company's rating.

Excellent communication. Due to a scheduling foul up the plumber who was originally to come never made it. I checked in with FS&L and they explained what happened and were in constant contact thereafter. Our man arrived and now we can shower again!

They were able to do the work right away. The plumber arrived early, and explained what was involved. There were a couple of small problems that we were able to overcome. The work was finished on time and they look great. They did the work for the agreed upon price.

I called on Monday and was told someone could be here Thursday morning. he arrived on time, told me what he was doing while he was working, finished the work (about 3 hours) and left a tidy room when he was finished. He also looked at our water heaters, gave us a lot of information about them, and sent bids for installations of two options.

The person who I booked the job with was very pleasant and the job was done the same day. However, the plumber that came to the job was pretty gruff, he actually made my wife pretty nervous. He made some odd remarks about our dogs. The work was done well, but the experience with the plumber was pretty uncomfortable. The cost was also quite high. To cap a pipe in 15 minutes it was $150.

Art, their obscure toilet specialist came in, wrestled with getting the toilet in for a while, and finally did it. He tested it a bunch and found no leaks. After running water upstairs for a few days, though, I noticed drips. They sent Art back out immediately. He was prompt, professional, and a good sport. He pointed out, that if he tightened the bolts that fasten the toilet to the wall too tightly, the toilet could crack. Instead, the best thing to do, is tighten as much as possible and caulk. He tightened the bolts a tiny bit, & caulked. I still had minor dripping, which I fixed myself with a handful of plumber's putty. I've used these guys several times and I'll always use them for plumbing jobs, I can't do myself. Downsides to this experience. The initial installation of this toilet was a beast. A couple of my floor tiles were cracked in the process. Under the toilet, no big deal. I wonder why it was not a 2 man job.

Overall I was pleased. Whether over the phone, or in person their communications were clear and friendly. They were punctual. On the dot. They were able to arrive both times at 7:30 AM. Per my request. They cleaned up well when they finished. The plumbing in my condo now works well.

It's an older house and a bit quirky, but Art did a great job. We appreciated being able to ask a few dumb questions about plumbing and how stuff works.

The plumber arrived and was very friendly. He looked at the water stain and told me that the toilet had to probably be reset. That's what the person told me on the phone when I arranged the appointment as well. He looked at the toilet, inspected how it was set, and did indeed see that it was loose. He reset the toilet, fixing problems that were apparent from the builder and original toilet setting. (I.E, cut bolts that were too big, and removed the wax ring and other debris.) He worked quickly, efficiently, cleanly, and quietly; taking extra care not to wake up my napping son. He was finished in exactly an hour. We will definitely use them again; if we need a plumber.

While the job they performed was satisfactory, if not a bit pricey, they quoted us for a few extra jobs at quite a steep price, including the replacement of the water meter, which they said was too small for our system. Since meters are supplied by the city, I called them, and they sent a city worker out who looked at me like I was crazy and couldn't figure out what the plumber had been complaining about. Regarding another problem they said needed addressing, we consulted with a different plumber, and after carefully consulting the water heater installation instructions, they found nothing in need of changing. The final job they'd quoted, we had someone else do for much cheaper.

They are very professional and work quickly and efficiently.

We use these guys a lot. They are great. I was able to schedule an appointment on very short notice. The guy actually showed up on time, and finished in no time at all. Very clean, professional and courteous. I highly recommend these guys.

Plumber was on time, and explained how to prevent the problem from happening again. He really got soaked (literally) on this job, and was still cheerful.

It took 4 days for them to come out, which was OK. We didn't want to pay a higher price for an emergency call since we have another bathroom. He did repair the toilet and checked the dishwasher (which was fine). One problem was that there were still stains of blue water from the toilet tank on the bathroom floor after he left. Also, we did not receive an estimate or a bill that day, and were told we would receive a bill in the mail. It arrived 10 days later and just gave us the amount owed rather than breaking it down. Another issue was that he did not replace the trim on the front of the dishwasher. Overall, I don't think I would use them again.

I was in a bind as a previous contractor had walked away from the project half completed and poorly done. As a result Fettes Love and Sieben provided a quote to include potential rework which was quickly provided. Chose them based on their quote and reputation. They made helpful, valuable suggestions during the project. Quality work, their one oversight was quickly remedied.

The plumber came late but in the time window they gave me and did the work as asked. The price at $125.00/20 minutes would put them at about $500.00/hour, you tell me if that sounds about right?

Very pleased with experience. Our plumber came in earlier, waited outside, until 7:30 appointment, was polite and helpful. Will use it again, if I have an issue, which I can not resolve.

It was a pleasure to work with John, the Angie's List contact at Fettes. He was able to get me an appointment on the date that I requested, was quite personable and on the day of the appointment, was kind enough to contact me about sending someone over earlier in the day than we had originally discussed. "Fred" the plumber, was quite nice as well. He didn't seem to be in a rush to get the job done, returning to his truck on several occasions for parts and taking a while to do so, but as I had taken the day off to take delivery on furniture and appliances and as they bill by the job rather than the time, I didn't mind. He was kind enough to clean up after himself, mopping up any water and throwing out any used parts. When I had to leave to meet a delivery downstairs just as he was finishing up, he called from his truck shortly after to make sure that I was happy with his work and that no one else had gone into my unlocked condo between when he had left and I had returned.

Everyone we encountered was very throrough, knowledgeable and polite. Most importantly, we had a recurring problem with our slow drain, which resulted in further damage. When visiting guests removed the stopper to let water drain, additional damage was incurred when pieces fell into the sink. When we called the company back, they made good on their work and did not impose any further cost to us for the additional problems. The customer service was excellent. They made good on their work!

They were prompt in getting back to me, thorough in the work, friendly and explained everything. The office was great in scheduling both people to come at once (plumbing/heat were different specialties) for our convenience. We had to have Bob (the plumber) come back 2 weeks later to re-fix the shower faucet seal, but that was due to the existing faucet, not the previous work. Cost for the return trip not included in this price.

The representative that arrived was prompt, professional and did the work on a timely basis. He removed his shoes upon walking into the house and cleaned up after himself. When he was done, he explained what had been blocking the drain and what he found in the main line and gave advice on how to avoid blockages in the future. I thought they did a great job and will definitely use them again.
