Plumber arrived within 10 minutes of appointment time. Professional and courteous he made the repair plus he adjusted the toilet handle on my request. Total time spent in my home was one hour. Bill was mailed out to me a week later. Total was $158.00 before Angie's List discount.

I compared them to other companies, and they gave me a good window of time (a two hour window). They are flexible, and worked to my satisfaction. They showed up on time, did the work well, and took care of a second drain.

This is a problem that I have had others try and figure out. When I saw on Angie's List that this company was the 06 award winner, I called them to see if they can help me since others couldn't. I was very impressed with them. The gentleman that came out looked into many areas that I would have never thought of and maybe the others didn't either because I was able to get some great advice that nobody else has been able to come up with. No, the problem isn't solved yet, but I have new direction now because of his expertise. We may have an underground spring causing the problem. I was very impressed with him, especially in comparison with the others I had come out before. He was on time and took the time to explain everything to me so that I really felt I got my money's worth instead of paying for a dead end service. I will be following up with the right agencies to look into the possibilities that Fettes outlined. I couldn't be more impressed.

I liked them because they were able to come and fix the leak on a Saturday morning. I also like them because they were prompt, and the guys who came were very clean. They charged us a bit more because it was a Saturday.

Great workmen -- both in the business a long time. 1st visit) fixing leak. Thought leak was the hose in the faucet. Replaced hose. But it was NOT where the leak was. 2nd visit) leak still going. The guy tightened the faucet up, but said he thought the leak was in the cartridge in the faucet -- it's still leaking so he was right. Then he installed the RO water system. Very complex so it took a long time. (I'd probably buy it from another retail company next time and have them arrange the installation -- just FYI.) I feel fine about how it went. Leaks are hard to find and we had an expensive faucet so we needed to look at having it fixed -- it is disappointing that we're still in the midst of getting this fixed. The RO system seems to be working fine -- so good work there. I like these guys. They do seem to know what they're doing!

I really feel that this plumbing company is very professional. We were very pleased with the work that they did, and they completed it in a very timely manner. I thought they were very thorough and courteous when they were working in our house.

They gave me a fair price and they were on time. They also cleaned up everything. They were really professional and courteous. They tell you everything about the problem. I would recommend them.

They did a great job. They came pretty quickly after we called and got everything sealed up. They were very trustworthy and didn't do anything that we didn't want them to do. It made us feel good knowing that we could trust them.

I called the company based on the high recommendations from Angie's List as I needed a gas shut-off valve installed behind my oven for safety reasons. They were quick to have someone available, although no price was quoted to me over the phone. On the day of service, an hour and a half passed beyond the time of the service call, so I called the company. They said someone would be out within the hour. No apology was made. The gentleman who came out was very thorough. After turning the gas back on, he made sure all pilots were re-lit and that everything was functioning properly. I was happy with the work he performed. There was a bit of a sticker shock when I received the bill. The guy was here for about half an hour total (and that included the time he spent talking about the history of the company) and the parts are less than ten bucks. Plus there is no breakdown on the bill.

Called on Sunday afternoon and the job was completed the next morning. The plumber was fast, efficient, and friendly. Would use this company again.

I had an old 3-valve shower, which needed to be replaced. I bought a new one-valve shower kit that included a pressure-balancing valve and the trim pieces. I hired FLS to replace the old system and rough in the new valve and pipes; we put on the trim/fixtures ourselves after some tile work was completed. The plumber arrived on time and did this work with no problems. I also had asked FLS to get rid of a rumbling noise (which they called a "squeak") that occurred after my (vintage) Sloan-valve toilet was flushed. The noise started after another plumber had replaced the diaphragm. The FLS plumber was not able to fix the noise on his first visit. He tried swapping out some parts and concluded the next step was to replace the flush valve, so I had him back the next week. On that visit, he swapped out some more (inexpensive) parts and was able to fix the problem without having to replace the flush valve, which would have cost another $400 or so.

We had a little trouble matching our schedule with their free slots, but we decided to wait a few days rather than looking for someone else. Steve was prompt and seemed to work quickly. While clearing the clog, he identified an underlying problem with our drain and, rather than suggesting lots of expensive work, gave me a good home remedy. I really appreciated that.

I found them to be incredibly professional, courteous and prompt. Spoke with them Monday and received an estimate in the mail on Wednesday. Again, perhaps the job was just too small for it to be profitable for them. I would call them again for larger work that they'd estimate on site so I could ask questions and walk through the proposed solution. I ended up purchasing a small adapter that I installed after the cold water shut off valve ($9) and some tubing from an icemaker installation kit ($8) that connects directly to the fridge. Throw in some Teflon tape and I was done. And I didn't have to shut off the whole house water supply (disrupting my tenants' lives). Again, after dealing with many contractors that either don't return calls, are rude when they do and then never deliver an estimate, I found them very professional, but unfortunately too expensive for such a small job.

Very good - I had dealt with a few other plumbers for this project before, and these guys really solved the problem.

You can always call them. They are always excellent. They are the only plumber I call! They don't mess around. They get the work done quickly and then get out. I've never had to have them come back out.

The contractor was Steve. He tried to drain the pipes to re-seal it. However, that didn't work and in the end he cut apart and replaced the pipes. He kept me informed of the process and showed me what the problem was which was good. He did fix the issue. Labor $503. Parts $14. My only complaint is that he did not clean up well after he was finished, leaving pieces of drywall and dust on the floor of the closet. He had also cut out the needed drywall in a haphazard-looking, torn-up way rather than cutting it cleanly.

We had water backed up into our basement and had to have an emergency plumber (Not FLS) come to stop the water. This guy wanted to charge us $8,000 to replace our entire sewer line. I called FLS Plumbing, who came and diagnosed the problem: sewer lines clogged with tree roots, as well as, a break in one of the sewer tiles. They determined the break was out in front of our house under our front sidewalk. They did an excellent job of cleaning out the pipes, for which we paid around $200. The plumber was named Art and he was very honest and straightforward about problems with our older plumbing system, how to maintain the system, and how to save money in the long run. They gave us an estimate to repair the broken sewer line, including digging up and replacing the cement. The estimate was for approximately $2750. We were able to find another plumber to do the job for only $1800, so we went with them instead. But, for smaller jobs, I would definitely call Fettes Love and Sieben again.

Chuck came over and easily fixed the outside spigot. He actually attached a cut-off valve and rerouted the water to a more convenient location. His idea and a great one. He found out what was wrong with the shower but didn't have the proprietary parts to fix it right then-and-there. He installed a temporary shower head (which works great, though looks ugly) and took the pieces to the shop to order a new one. On his way out, he noted a problem with drain flies we were having and fixed that in a minute. We'd been killing those buggers for months! Chuck was great, but we have no idea what this is going to cost. He says he takes his estimate to the shop and then they'll mail us out a bill. So we'll see. Because I don't know what this is going to cost, I'll give it a bad grade on cost, but otherwise everything else they did was great.

I set up an appointment and the estimator came out when scheduled (already a plus) and provided an estimate for us. We arranged a date and time for the work to be completed. The plumber showed up at the designated time and completed the job. He had to work in a very tight space to run all the pipes that were needed along with the valve set up. He cleaned up so that there was no mess for me to deal with. The work was done on time and on budget. I was very pleased with their services.

I can't praise F,L & S enough. Their plumbers looked for the most obvious problem as a first step. When the seepage still didn't disappear after 2 trips, F, L & S returned. The plumber said that he wasn't leaving until he figured out what the problem was. The defect was no fault of the plumber's or of mine. A new toilet was ordered and installed the next day. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. When I called back to report that it was still leaking, the receptionist told me, "I'm so sorry," a comment that was indicative of the kind of service F,S & L provides. I will think twice before purchasing American standard again, but Fettes, Love & Seiben are my plumbers of choice.

They made faucet repairs to increase the pressure in two sinks and shower and cleaned two drains and discovered the cause of low pressure was due to the pipes in the condo and the condo association will have to fix it. The service man Mike was polite and answered all my questions and helped. I will use them again.

I needed to fix a few things in the guest bathroom before my sister and brother in law came to stay with us. Fettes, Love & Sieben were great at scheduling an appointment quickly. They charge by the hour and wouldn't give an estimate as to how long the work would take- but it ended up taking less than an hour. The plumber (Chuck) showed up on time, was efficient and gave a lot of explanation for everything he did. He not only fixed everything we needed to fix, he also gave his opinion as to what might be causing the problem (issues with the water heater). At one point the plumber had to leave to get additional parts - but he didn't charge for the extra time. The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is that they wouldn't take payment on the spot and I'm still waiting for the bill 2 weeks later. I know I'll be charged for 1 hour of work, but I'm not sure how much the extra parts will be. But that's probably not their fault- our mail delivery is terrible...

We had VERY low water pressure. Mark came out to look at the job and suggested that we start with upsizing the supply. At the time, Mark told us that the work would most likely take one long day, maybe two, but we wouldn't be overnight without water. When the work began, the guys ran into a bit of a snag and got delayed a bit, but when they left at the end of the day, all service was restored. The following morning, Bob arrived and finished the job within two hours. The improvement is incredible, and more than what we expected. We will definitely recommend FETTES LOVE & SIEBEN to all of our friends.
