They were very professional. I had three companies come and give me quotes. One only sent me a partial quote. Another gave me a quote over the phone without ever coming to my home. Fettes, Love & Sieben were the only company that come to my home and gave me a detailed quote of all the costs we might incur when they came to fix the problems. They came right on time and fixed all the problems. Although our sump pump was not failing yet, we were happy that we decided to go with a new primary and secondary pump along with the backup system because it ended up both our ejector pump (which was already beginning to fail) and our primary pump (we did not have a secondary pump) were cheap hardware store pumps installed by the builder ten years ago. It probably saved us money in the long run replacing the whole system now rather than adding a backup system to an old system that would probably fail in the next few years. We added the high water alarms because after finishing our basement just two years ago, we suffered a flood when Chicago experienced the big storm in August of 2007 and our power was out for three days. Neither our builder or our contractor who finished the basement thought of adding a battery backup system to protect us from such an occurrence. Then six months later after paying $15,000 to repair the basement, we suffered another small flood when the ejector pump failed. The basement is a tough spot to catch a leak until the damage is already done. Therefore, we had the two high water alarms added as yet another protection. They also did a very nice job of replacing the faucets. They were timely, courteous, clean and overall very pleasant to work with. We were very happy with their work!!

They did replace the hose in the sprayer and replaced everything, but they left things here and left a mess that I had to clean up.

They always do a fantastic job. They know what they are doing and they never leave a mess. I have never had a problem that they could not fix. I will always call this company first.

I talk to someone in the service area. I got a little information from them. He gave me a total but did not break down the price. He seemed to be in a hurry to get off the phone.

After calling about 15 places, I finally found these guys based on the info here. I called them up, got a hold of a guy who set an appointment for a day or two later and with no monkey business was all set. I knew I had a bad water heater, knew what the problem was, and went out and got an AO Smith Replacement heater which was sitting in my garage. A few hours after my initial call, the same man from the company called me and said they had a cancellation, and could get someone to my house in about an hour (about 3 hours after my very first call to their office). The service person showed up on time, was professional and methodically worked through getting my old one out and the new one in. I helped a bit, which was no problem to make it easier on him and me (starting to drain the tank before he arrived and a few other things). All in all, things went very well. Could have been cleaner, especially concerning the carpet and could have worked more efficiently, but would use these guys again and would recommend. From the first phone call to the conclusion of the project, they get a thumbs up.

Great. This is a full union company which stands behind their work. They wanted to use a cast iron receiving pipe, which is sturdier than the terra cotta based industry standard pipe. Also wanted to secure to the foundation. No mention of required permit.

He fixed the faucet immediately and since he was there, I asked him if he could swap my soap dispenser and garbage disposal button on either side of the faucet. He did, very quickly and now the handle of the faucet doesn't get in the way of the soap dispenser, which was driving me crazy.

He cracked the toilet while trying to remove it. He completed the sewer inspection, then immediately went to a plumbing supply store, retrieved a new toilet and installed it, all free of charge.

It went very well. When they took the shower faucets apart we didn't know it but a leak started and it actually caused damage to my building. I called them back in and they said they are willing to work with me to fix the costs. I will always use them. They are prompt, and very polite. He is very professional and he cleans up after himself. I trust him enough to leave him there when I'm off to work.

This was a second recommendation of Angie's List. Went through owner. Answered questions, was friendly. Didn't have big type organization as experience with Angie's List first recommendation. Was very hands, came on date, friendly, very people oriented.

They responded immediately. After we called they came to look at what we needed to have done, then they called and scheduled the work and got it done all within a couple of days; it was great! The workers were friendly and professional. Their prices were very reasonable. We plan on using Fettes, Love & Sieben for our future plumbing needs

I had called them because my toilet was overflowing. They had to come back to fix the toilet and when they came back they also rodded the sewer line. When they did this they lost the snake in the pipe so they actually had to come back two weeks later and break out part of my basement to get it.

It was excellent. They are a little on the pricey side, but they do great work. Everything they have ever fixed for me has stayed fixed. They have never had to come back and do it again.

The guy from this place had to go to his truck several times for equipment and the kicker is his battery died so my husband had to jumpstart his truck! My husband works off the clock too for pete's sake. The difference between this guy and Power's Plumbing is just amazing! It was like night and day!

They were very professional, they were very quick. They came when they said they would. They charged a fair price. I would recommend them to others and use them again.

Marcus from FLS came out the morning after I called and did a great job fixing the leak. From the time I called to make the appointment until the job was done, FLS was very professional and provided great service. I will definitely use FLS again.

They were on time and prompt, the job was completed to our satisfaction, I would recommend them to others and use them again. They were very clean and respectful.

I like them and they did a great job. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They don't leave a mess around and really try to disturb the house as little as possible. I do plan on using them again for service in the future. The approximate cost listed breaks down for the first job to $1,000 (which was extensive because of the work they had to do in the wall and with cutting pipes) and the second job was $300.00.

They were the most responsive. They were able to do the work immediately. The two gentleman that came out were very respectful about being inside my house and around my possessions. The pricing was very competitive.

Late for appointments the first two times, on days when I had to be at work in the morning, so I couldn t afford for them to be late; 40 minutes early for the last appointment, but didn t call ahead to warn me. Said they d order a part for my toilet, then never called back. I called them back over 2 years later to order the part and finish the work (they had to send someone out again to get the information to order the part). Installed more parts in my toilet (actually everything inside the tank) than they said they would, but only told me after the work was done. Didn t itemize anything on the bill they sent me, just had a total and the Angie s List discount. I didn t know how much the bill would be until it came in the mail; the plumber who did the work didn t tell me. Last plumber, one who actually installed parts, was not the most agreeable person (responded to questions defensively).

They did a great job. Not only solved the problem, but provided excellent service. Took extra care to cut as small of a hole as possible in the cabinet. Spent the time to figure out what the pipes looked like behind the cabinet before cutting. I am extremely pleased with their work.

I am very pleased with the professional manner and the level of service I received from Mark, John and especially the plumbers Chuck and Donna. Chuck and Donna were punctual and they cleaned up after the job.

Paul from FLS showed up promptly at the time given to us the previous day and began the rodding process quickly. This issue was addressed by another plumber in January and was a problem that has been reoccurring. Paul believes the problem is a collapsed drain pipe, and explained the labor I could do myself to save on the "ultimate solution" digging down to the pipe and seeing what is what. I appreciated this immensely as a away to save some expense and more importantly know how to fix this nagging problem once and for all.
