Fettes Love & Sieben Inc

They did great work the first couple of times I used their services, but their work in the last couple of times has disappointed me. They did not open the drains very well, but it took them a long time to get to me and it took them a long time to do the work. They also charged me a lot of money for it, but the work done was poor. I don't think I would use their services again.

I get preventive maintenance done from them before my house actually needs it. I use their services because they are so trustworthy and professional. I had one bad experience with them, and they immediately took care of it and apologized profusely. They are small enough a place where you can actually talk to the owner or manager, and tell them what you need done before they send someone over, or after the work is done. They explain what things have to be done and go ahead and finish the work. They are very competitive in prices and willing to hear out other competitive bids. I will use their services in their future.

We've had Fettes Love & Sieben Inc. out several times to do work. We had a different company before that was missing a lot of problems that needed fixed and Fettes is doing a way better job for us. These guys are experienced plumbers. They might not be the cheapest company out there but they get the job done right the first time. I will continue to use their service in the future.

The plumber, Chuck, arrived early. He was thoughtful, courteous, and experienced. My plumbing needs were not major, but he did a great job and offered excellent information. I would definitely use this company (and Chuck!) again.

The price was a little high for what was done but if you consider travel time etc. I think was fair enough. It was also appreciated that he took my credit card over the phone.

They called me back, and answered the phone. Usually you are placed on hold for long. I never met them. This is an apartment building. So I had to meet the tenancy. I m sure the price was very good. That s why I got it done.

They are very positive and very professional. They are prompt and quickly responsive. They have good workmanship skills. They are not completed yet, but I will use them again in the future.

A couple weeks after they fixed the boiler it broke down again. They didn't have any emergency number for the weekend and when we finally did get ahold of them they said we weren't on file even though we've used them repeatedly. It turns out that there was a wire that had been disconnected from the boiler which is why the heater didn't work(we ended up using a different company to find this out). I would've thought that they would have noticed that when they came to service the boiler the first time.

Mark ended up being early because he was in the neighborhood, and he answered all of the basic questions I needed answered. I did email him some additional questions over the holidays, however, and have yet to hear back from him.

This is a fairly large building and took them a couple hours. They did a good job. I would hire them again.

They were very prompt and I only had to wait a few days for service. The plumber who showed up was friendly and went right to work. He told us we did not need new pipes in the kitchen, it was just a problem in one of the joints. He advised that the faucet in the kitchen could not be repaired and he installed a new one I had purchased. The shower problem needed a new part which he went out to purchase and now everything works great and the knob feels very secure. We were very pleased with the work and would definitely call them again.

They sent a guy at 7am. He was very prompt. He said that there was tile work that was interfering with the base of the toilet on the floor, and he tried to work out a solution to that problem.

Paul was our technician. Arrived on time with camera/video to see behind the tiled shower wall to determine source of water leak. Did not need to use it. With a couple of water tests in the bathroom, running this and turning off that, Paul determined the leak was not originating from our shower plumbing behind the wall, but was originating from the drain apparatus. He had the problem diagnosed, tested, fixed and re-tested for results, all in less than an hour. We were ready to tear out a tiled bathroom wall and he solved our problem for us in less than an hour. We paid the rate for the first hour. Subsequent hours are cheaper, but in our case, unnecessary. Thank you Paul. Plumbing can be complicated and expensive, so get a smart plumber, call Fettes Love and Sieben. This is the second time we've used them for two entirely different issues and they have been fabulous both times. Smart guys with a lot of experience.

Their work is excellent. I could not say enough good stuff about them. They are very responsive, and they provide great service. I would certainly consider them in the future.

The work went fine, the problem was with the billing. I did not receive the original invoice, 3 months later I received a reminder. I could not find my copy of the work order and called to request one. Once received I sent in the payment. In the meantime, I received a letter from Fettes, Love and Sieben that informed me that after "numerous attempts" my invoice was going to be handed over to their legal rep and a mechanical lien was going to be placed on me. The numerous attempts consisted of the one reminder I received.

Friendly staff member took my original phone call and set me up with an appointment within a week. Plumber arrived on time and vacuumed out the outstanding water and crud in the 2 1/2 - 3 foot deep drain. Then he used the electric snake which wouldn't go into the opening which was very small at the bottom. After several attempts he tried poking a copper pipe into the bottom of the drain, to see if he could loosen the crud, only to hit a hard bottom. He finally reached his arm down the drain and felt for the outlet hole only to determine that the previous owner had the bottom filled with concrete. Since water hardly ever went down this drain it was never noticed that we had a problem. The problem drain was not cleared but not for any lack of trying. The plumber gave me other options like replacing the drain but I'm just doing to leave well enough alone, after all I didn't get any water coming up the drain like I did in my crawlspace.

Called and they gave me some parameters on pricing and what items cost more (IE, if water turnoff valve did not hold, or if flooring was bad when the removed the toilet). I turned off the water to the toilet before they got there. Floor was fine. Seemed to take a bit more time than necessary but, I was not watching the process. They don't tell you when they are finished what the cost is the bill is mailed to you. I thought it was on the high side but, can't tell unless they give me an itemized bill. Plumber said it was only going to cost for labor when he left but, I'm not sure what I was charged for. Plumber was very courteous and placed the old toilet in the alley for me. Cleaned up area OK.

Each time the plumber showed up on time (or early) to provide services listed above. 100 year old pipes proved to be somewhat challenging but, they worked through it each time. They look for the simple fix before recommending more involved repairs. They are not inexpensive but, their reliability and quality of work is worth it. Wish they were available on weekends.

This is a very good company. The plumber arrived on time and not only performed the work detailed above but also went down into the basement with me to check on a couple other things. They are not cheap but they have always done a good job for me and I would rather pay a little more and have the job done right. I didn't get an estimate ahead of time because I wanted to leave myself the option to ask the plumber to do a little more work - in the event that he had time.

I called Fettes plumbing FOUR times to get a hot water heater fixed or replaced and they have not returned my calls. This was a MONTH ago.

They were good and efficient. They were about 2 hours in process. I was billed for 2.5 but when I pointed it out they amended it without hesitation.

The service was good. They stuck to their quote. They showed up when they were supposed to. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

They were great. We have no complaints about them. They just did what they were suppose to do. I have no reason not to recommend them to others to use.
