It has always gone very well. They are competitively priced. When they did the work the different times, the crews were always nice, clean, and thorough. They got the work done when they said they would get it done. Once they were finished, they cleaned up so well, that it didn’t even seem like they had been there. We haven’t had any problems with them and I haven’t had to ask to come back for any repair work

The work turned out fine. The experience was good. They had a good representative. We received a very nice price, as well as the tax rebate. Everything has turned out well. I called them on a couple small concerns and they responded immediately and fixed the problems.

It went fine. The windows are very good but while they look great outside, they don't look extremely good inside. We went with another supplier after that. They look great outside but inside not so good. They are vinyl windows so they don't look very nice. They work very well and are convenient and air tight. The pricing was very good compared to what we are paying now. The service was fine; it is just that they don't look very good inside. I will use them again in the future if I used vinyl windows again. Since then we went to wood windows. We had to initiate the talk about financing. The salesman wanted us to pay cash up front. But there was financing available and we wanted to go that way.

Very happy with Feldco and would not hesitate to call them back up again if we have a need for windows again.

Called the 800 number and received the wrong rep. He forwarded my information to the correct rep and gave me his contact information. I never heard back. About a month later I called the (new) rep and explained my situation - needing one window installed. He was accomodating and setup an appointment. He never mentioned anything about the fact that I would be charge more because it was only one window on the phone. He arrived on time, measured the window, and proceeded to provide me a quote of $808. My jaw dropped, as I paid $1200 for 6 windows of this size 3 years ago. This job was for 1 window. Upon explaining that to him, he said because there is only on window, he would have to charge more and he could not move on price. I showed him the door.

They were prompt. They installers were on time when we set up the appointment and provided correct information. They were courteous and responsive. They had all the things that you would like to see in a company. I was very happy with the windows as they were of very good quality. They called up about 30 days later to get some feedback and suggestions on how to improve.

The initial meeting with the sales person went without a hitch. If you have dealt with window sales people you will know that they always give a long and very drawn out presentation. I told our salesperson to skip all of that and just show me the window options. I insisted that if there was to be a presentation I would cancel the meeting :) Anyhow he showed me my window options and I ended up picking the Sophia series windows. A total of 7 with full screens. They always push to get a contract signed on the spot (all window companies do this) but I strongly recommend thinking it over for a while and possibly meeting with 2 or more companies to get a clear picture of what's out there. I told the sales person I would call back the next day and that's when the problems started. My sales person was out of the office the next day (although he assured me he would be in) The problem was nobody else was able to/or willing to take my order. I thought this was ridiculous. As a result a discount I was hoping to get expired and frankly that upset me. I would have immediately called another company but I had to get the windows replaced right away (while that floor was empty.) One lady on the phone who declined to give her name went so far as to tell me that if I could not deal with waiting for my sales person to get back to me when he finally got back into the office I should just go to a different company. I was shocked but got over it and eventually tracked down my salesperson. He finalized the order and said the windows would be ready in at most 10 weeks. They were able to get them to me in 3 weeks (all custom sized) Installation too 1 full work day and the crew was fast efficient and they did an amazing job. They actually left the work areas around the windows cleaner than they were when they started (I know cause I had not cleaned the sills since last summer :) ) The windows look great and are easy to open and close and easy to clean. I cant speak as to how durable they are and how well they are made but I will most certainly update this report as I come across issues with the windows and how the company deals with my issues. I do plan on replacing all windows on my first floor with the same windows later this summer. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 9/9/2011 I do understand that Mr. Williams was unable to complete the transaction the following day due to his needing to be with his family. I would not have expected him to finish the order given that situation however there should always be someone available to take over a work order in an event like that. Understandably, I do realize that Mr. Williams (who I think is a great rep for your company) had been nice enough to stop by my house later on in the day (pretty much after hours and very appreciated) there would have been no way for him to get the paperwork back to the office between then and his needing to leave to be with family. I do understand that taking an order at the same time as the job is proposed would have prevented this situation but honestly, not thinking something over is not a good way to make major purchases. In fact I would go so far as to say (my personal opinion) it would be foolish not to review every thing, compare to other options and pick the best one for your situation based on all available information. You are more than aware that there is a ton of information to digest when it comes to windows. There is no way to make an informed independent decision on the spot before you can think about it. Don't get me wrong I am sure a lot of people do and maybe I over think things but I do not purchase anything costly without careful thought, comparison and analysis of many customer reviews and product reviews from various sources which to me is impossible right after the massive download of information during the meeting. When something like this happens, it would be great if corporate would be willing to extend a promotion since I called to finalize the order by 9am the next morning which was within the promotion period although the order was not processed till after the promotion was over. If a promo is missed due to the company for whatever reason and the customer made every effort to get the order completed within that promo period it really should be honored. As to the person I spoke to on the phone, all I have to say is be understanding of a customers situation and don't be quick to tell them to go elsewhere. That is no way to deal with a customer. Maybe it would be a good idea to figure out some solutions to this sort of an eventuality even though I am sure they are rare. An explanation whilst keeping Mr. Williams confidentiality would have gone a very long way and would frankly have left me feeling fine. All that said, I am very very happy with your product so far and do not hesitate to recommend your windows to any one, but I will encourage anyone buying anything to always always review, compare and make an informed independent decision. I do look forward to getting the rest of my windows replaced by Feldco.

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Feldco. Our new Patio door looks beautiful, It changes the whole look of the room and exterior of the home. It is so quiet compared to our old one. We can tell it is a much better made door then most. We love it! Feldco did a great job from start to finish. All the Feldco reps from the initial sales appointment to the measurements and then the installation were fantastic. They were very professional and nice and informative. They asked all the right questions to make sure every detail was covered to make sure we were happy with the final product. The Door was installed AHEAD of schedule which we were very pleased about. They installers showed up on time and the rep that did our final measurements even also showed up during the installation just to make sure everything was going OK. Wow, that is service! They were very clean and didn't leave a speck of dirt or dust behind. Again, just a great company and product..they made the whole process easy and stress free for us. Unfortunately now I see how poor quality our windows are and want new windows and siding... in time!

I interviewed a few people, and I chose them. They originally quoted $2700 for the work but later dropped to $2200. They are going to be installing the windows in about a week.

Nothing unusual to report. Workers showed up at scheduled time and were very professional.

I drove some 50 miles to be available for the window quote. The salesperson was 30 minutes late. I invited him into the home telling him that I only had a set amount of time and that I could only be home for a while, and then I had to go back to work. He claimed to be on time, which he was not. To be fair, I allowed about 90 minutes for the visit, have a background in construction and don't need a sales job on the windows. I called because I need windows, want vinyl double hungs, and low-E. Not a lot of other options. He told me that in the time i had left, he couldn't even do the window presentation, let alone the window measurement and develop a quote. I told him then we would not be able to continue this meeting. He then would not leave. He would not leave my house. He complained that he drove "from Downers Grove" to get to my home in Downers Grove. I then told him I drove from Elgin and that I would have to drive back soon (47 miles). Just before I threatened to call the police to demand that he leave, he left. I called the Feldco office to complain. I had read the reviews prior to arranging this quote and it seems that it is luck of the draw who you will get. Some people have very good experiences with the company. I am sorry that I did not.

Everything went well. They finished the job in one day, like they said they would. They came on time and cleaned up their debri when they were done.
