Everything went great, from the time we met with the salesman, all the way thru the install! We ordered the windows and then about a week later called them to add a screen door, they sent out someone to measure and I had the door the same time I got the windows! The installers showed up when I was told they would, I was informed of any issues they ran into with the install. It took about 3 days total. and when they finished everything was cleaned up! I would recommend Feldco any time!

They really good. We're pleased with their service. Their price is pretty fair. They're really nice. They got good workers. They cleaned up after the job. When they came out, the guy just left us with the estimate and the windows that we wanted. They came and took measurements again and said it will be about 4 weeks to have the windows done. We really wanted them to get done that time. But that worked out alright. The guys who came were a little conscientious about a few things but still pretty good.

I think anytime, a major renovation is done on a home, the client is apprehensive and wants to make sure the product will be reliable and cost effective. I thought from estimate to installation the experience was excellent. I walked in the the Rockford, IL office to make an appointment for the estimate. The windows and doors are very nice with a wide variety of colors and styles to choose from. Installation was fast and clean. All the employees were very professional. I could have spent a little less somewhere else but I thought the quality of the products and the quality of the installation was well worth it.

Everything went really well.There was one small issue with some adhesive that got stepped on before it was dry. They came out six months later and fixed it without any fuss and only one phone call.

They were prompt and they had excellent workers. They aren’t the highest-end windows possible, but they function very well and are priced well. We now have double-pane windows instead of single pane and it made a huge difference in the effectiveness of our heating. They are affordable and very good. I believe they charged about 600 dollars a window for a double-paned gas filled window for higher E ratings installed. They ordered and got materials on time, did great installation and cleanup. Everything was excellent.

The initial installer from Feldco Windows Siding and Doors messed the doors up. He did a terrible job. But they came out again and did it perfect, without giving me any hassle. The supervisor came out and saw what went on and I had no trouble since then. They came and fixed it. They're perfect. I had gotten estimates from different companies and Feldco had the price and a two year payment plan without interest.

The job was scheduled to complete in 2 days, but took 3. There were two men scheduled for the job, they were on time each day. They worked non-stop. The workers were very friendly, neat and accomodating. I can certainly tell the difference with the installation, and I've noticed my gas bill has gone down. I will certainly recommend and request Felco's services in the future.

Well it took longer than they said it would to get window, so when i called they said oh yeah it's been in the warehouse for a couple weeks. I made the appointment to install and then it got changed without contacting me called and they said they had to change, so sat around and waited for nothing.

I had 1/2 the windows for are home put in the year before 7 of them it was a nightmare. I didn't know what a nightmare it was until we had Felco do the other 6. It was like night and day. The quality of the windows & professionalism of the crew was outstanding.

A two man team arrived as scheduled, unloaded replacement windows and installation equipment. Team laid down drop cloths inside the home around/under four specific work areas inside the home where debris may be expected, and in foot traffic areas.
Work areas were roped off and warnings posted. Work began outside in one of the four work areas with removal of existing aluminum trim and the storm windows. Next came the part I didn't like and which I am not happy with, but I can't complain too much because I knew that was how it was to be accomplished. Removal of the outside window stop from the side and top outside window trim. The outside trim actually serves as a window stop, keeping the window from falling outward. Approximately one-half to three quarters of an inch strip was taken off of the trim using modern day tools, a hammer and a 15 to 18 inch screw driver/pry bar to split and pry the wood apart. Have you tried to trim or split wood this way? Needless to say, wood grain does not normally follow a neat strait line so edges are gagged and uneven. With the stops removed the upper sash, blind stop and lower sash was removed. The new doublehung window was placed in the opening against the inside stops, centered, leveled and secured. Insulation was stuffed into the openings around the window and frame, new 1 by 1(?), furring? strips were pin nailed in as outside stops for the new doublehung windows. Measurements were made for the new aluminum capping/trim pieces which were then cut, formed and pin nailed into place. All mating edges between window frame and siding trim were then caulked with a quality silicon caulk to eliminate air / moisture infiltration. This process continued for the remaining eight windows. After the windows were installed the team picked up and removed all debris, the old windows, drop cloths and other related items, and generally cleaned up their work areas. Nothing left for me to do! That is unusual. The crew was courteous and considerate throughout the entire process and finished and departed around 5PM.
The windows and aluminum trim look great and have improved the appearance of the house. The windows work well. No problems with them so far. I no longer have air infiltration around the window sashes which should be saving me some heating dollars. Outdoor noise has been reduced. I don't need a ladder to remove storm windows or to wash/clean outside glass anymore. That's good! The windows appear to be of quality materials and construction.
My concern: FELDCO needs to use truly modern day tools to perform the outside prep work. Light weight hand held rotary saws for removing the outside wood window stops would end the demolition like method used. Who will have to contend with the window frames as they now exist in the future? At what cost?

Had a very friendly and helpful sales person Jim. I was the only one that had to be there, my husband was at work.
I had a special capping done that makes the windows look very finished. At first the installer was not aware of the special capping and I know that it takes a lot longer to do than the basic capping, so he would have preferred not to do it. But the installer realized that I really wanted the special capping and his main goal he said is to make the customer happy. My old windows were all wood and had some areas that had issue with rotten wood, they cut and replaced the rotten areas. My husband and I love our new windows and the special capping make them look very nice. We are completely satisfied.

Salesman who came to give us our quote was really helpful. We were told the installers would arrive between 8am and 12pm, which is a pretty large time span in it self, but they showed up at 7:20am. So we weren't quite ready for them, my husband was still sleeping and I was in the shower. So that made us feel kind of rushed. But once they started working they got everything done pretty fast and were out by 11:30am. Any issues we had, they fixed quickly without argument or question, which I very much appreciated. All in all, we had a great experience and our windows look great. Now we just wait for the true test, winter :)

I also used them several years prior to put in 2 other windows. I liked it that for a couple of years they were fine; and the cost was good. However the windows are cr*p. After a couple of years there are problems; there is condensation between the double panes and I have had them out twice. Each time they come out, even though the windows are under warranty, there is a fee like $50 or $100; something like that. They have had to replace the windows twice, and they are still bad. I have a new window company; I just went with Feldco because they were cheap; but they are not good windows. They are not horrible windows; I can live with condensation but there is condensation there; they have to keep coming out and the condensation is still there.
