EVERGREEN OAK ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

Nothing wrong with the products themselves, since Evergreen is just a distributor. The customer service, however, was horrendous. Delays getting the initial quote, mistakes made on amounts charged, requests for additional quotes completely ignored, and a delay of over a month to receive replacement bulbs when some of those received did not work. Most egregiously, a part was missing from one light (out of the dozens ordered) and Evergreen refused to replace the light. Instead, they wanted to charge me retail price a second time for the same light, as they blamed me for "losing" the part. A search on-line showed that Evergreen's mark-up is insane-the fixture in question cost $250 from Evergreen (including my architect's trade discount!) but can be ordered for $150 on-line. I would blame my many problems with Evergreen on Dawn Waibel, but an email to the manager also went ignored, so apparently the lack of customer service is endemic.

I come here when I need anything out of the ordinary, that I can't get at the big-box stores, or when I need to buy something from someone who can answer questions about the products. I get good information and products here.
