Description of Work: When I purchased the company was very busy. I was not in a hurry so I told them they could put me to the end of the line. After a few months I communicated with them, but there was never follow through and at some point I sent a couple of emails and did not get a response. I finally sent a last email (about April) and they responded. Set up a date to come look. They did not show although I did later see they sent an email asking me to confirm appointment. They told me to request a refund. I said I was still willing to have them do the work, since I did miss the email, but never heard back.

Description of Work: Cornel was very professional, responsive and did a great job on refinishing the floors in our main hall and home office. They have never looked so good, and he matched our adjoining floor shade in an adjoining rooms perfectly. His "dustless" process was virtually that..yes, there was a little dust, but nothing like the dust storm we experienced with our last experience with someone else about 10 years ag, and it dried much quicker, too. Cornel was also much more thorough. I highly recommend his work and service.

Description of Work: Very professional and they made it a good experience. I had hoped buffing and applying polyurathane would "Perk Up" the floor a little more than it did, but I realize I was unrealistic, and it needed more than that. I really needed to have the floor sanded, stained and refinished, and they explained that to me before they actually started. They did exactly what was promised though, and did a good job doing it. I absolutely would use them again for a different service.

Description of Work: uMy wife and I decided after much soul searching to refinish hardwood flooring in our living room and in our kitchen/eating area rather than putting in tile in the kitchen/eating area. Corneiu came and helped greatly with the decision making process. (The decision saved up almost $6,000.) Before starting to stain the wood he showed us exactly what it would look like, and we ended up changing our mind to one shade lighter. He was great. If you are thinking about sanding and staining your hardwood floors just call E.U. Hardwood Floors--you'll be glad you did.

Description of Work: By the time I found EU Hardwood FLooring using Angie's List, I had already been burned twice by two different contractors, who were both more expensive actually, AND I had wasted a lot of time spinning my wheels by going to DIY places that couldn't provide the right product to match (as closely as possible) our existing flooring. | |Our hardwood floors are standard 5-year old oak hardwoods. When I saw the promotion with EU Hardwood Floors, I knew I had to try again. Cornel was very responsive and prompt. He showed up on the day of the quote on time and understood the issue of trying to match existing hardwoods with new, after removing our carpet (for an additional charge -- clearly listed and mentioned). Cornel and his assistant worked quickly too! | |As I already knew, matching is difficult, and he warned me it would not be exact, but I wanted to try it. Because I still have all of the original builder specs, I had the exact stain information. Cornel used the same stain, but the color was too light when up against an aged color. He mixed in a darker stain, and like a master artist really came up with a color that works perfectly. It is not an exact match, but the original color is in a dark hallway, and the new sits in a bight room. He graded the color so that it's not noticeable at all unless you are looking very intently for the color difference. I love it!! | |I am so pleased, that we will ask EU Hardwood Flooring to do our larger master bedroom when we are ready, where the stain will have to be "matched" again on the other side of this same hallway. | |Thank you, Cornel!

Description of Work: Corneliu did an awesome job refinishing our floors! The floors had MAJOR scratches (imagine a large dog trying to bury a bone under the couch for hours) and I was amazed to see that he was able to remove them completely. He came and gave me an estimate on Friday afternoon and the work was complete by Saturday night! Our home looks great now!
