Description of Work: I had 2 locks re-keyed since I moved into a new condo. They were scheduled to come in the afternoon, but called me and said the technician could come earlier, which worked out better for me. The customer service person on the phone was very pleasant and helpful, as was the technician who did the re-keying.

Description of Work: They first sent a rep over to look at the scope of work, which was bringing a gangway door up to code by changing the lock to provide egress. The rep made suggestions, and sent a quote. The work was done more than a month after the quote due to condo board hold-up, but the original quote was honored. Additional work was requested by the condo; that was added to the quote. The whole job included two lock changes (back gate and gangway door), security sleeve, security mesh, and additional keys. The people who did the work were professional and courteous.

Description of Work: Changed locks on my house. They were a it confused at the initial phone call, not knowing about the angies list deal i had bought,but once that was set up, everything went smoothly.

Description of Work: Eric and Ben Knafo, of Mega Locksmith & Security, 1139 N. Winchester Ave., Chicago IL 60622, 1-888-539-6342. When I called them about the problem and sent them a photo of the broken lock, as someone tried to break through our Security Gate which bent it out of shape. They came out and had to torch off the broken lock and replace it with a stronger one and they even were able to re-install the original lock after they made some adjustments so that we were able to use our original keys of previous. The weather was frigid yet they worked at it steadily and rapidly, and they are "top notch" guys. A pleasure to work with them. Thank you, Barbara Dietrick
