Description of Work: My husband called to get a quote to install a simple iintercom system for a home. The installer asked him a couple of questions and than confirmed that he would need to come out to give an estimate. After he got the address, all of a sudden the price started at 800 dollars and up. I felt that after we told him where we lived he jumped the price just so he wouldn't need to come out.

Member, First off I would like to say I'm sorry that your husband felt that you were unfairly treated in the pricing due to an address. Somehow we have two different versions of the events and I'm sad to say they are both very different. When your husband called he had a few questions about intercoms and their prices. Many of these questions were difficult to answer without actually viewing the building and how the job was to be done. After it was determined that there were many variables that could not be defined without a site inspection we proceeded to set up the appointment and as part of that process is obviously to get the address so we know where to go. After we obtained the necessary information we needed to come out he again pressed for a firm price that we were unable to give. He then asked for some sort of budgetary quote to get a feel for what the pricing may be. When pressed we explained that for a basic intercom system as he described price starts at $800, but, can and will go up from there based on the scope of the work involved and would really only feel comfortable giving him a more firm price after we did the site inspection. He then got upset saying we were trying to charge him more based on his location. When we explained that pricing wasn't based on zip code but on the work to be done based on our standard price list he didn't want to continue the conversation and ended it. While we understand that it is standard procedure for many companies to give a low starting price just to book the appointment we at ET Locksmith and Security feel those practices are a great insult to our valued customers and only serve to degrade the integrity of the profession. Description of Work: Eli was fantastic. We had our condo broken into and they took the spare set of keys to our house. Called Eli around 1 and he said he could be out by 3:30. He called again in half an hour and asked if he could come right away. he was very quick and efficient and even told me about an Angie's Lust coupon that I didn't notice to save us some money! Overall very happy with his service and I would definitely use them again

Description of Work: Eli was awesome! I quoted Amazing Lock and Mega Locksmith as well. They wanted $110-$160 for coming out on Sunday for a job that I knew would take 10 minutes. I am sorry but I dont think I should be charged for working on Sunday. If you dont want to work Sundays then dont answer the phone. Anyways I went with Eli and I will say this guy now has a customer for life. He was professional and super fast. I knew the work wouldnt be that hard to complete which is why I wanted it under $100. He delivered in all aspects! Thanks Eli, you da man
