Please, do not book his services! Over a month ago, we were given Eric by someone in our building. We just needed a simple job, to replace our old dishwasher with a new one. It took weeks of contacting him until he finally arrived. The first time he arrived, he refused to give us an estimate for the replacement, and said he would come back. After weeks of not showing up, he finally arrived. He took SEVEN hours to simply replace the dishwasher; he arrived an HOUR late and took a TWO HOUR break. He then charged us a whopping $700 to just REPLACE our dishwasher. This man is a con-artist. Do not book his services. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. I am writing this so others do not make the same mistake my family did. I honestly wish I could give him zero stars. The worst plumber I have ever been in contact with; he was late, slow, non-responsive, and ridiculously expensive. I cannot say this enough, DO NOT book his services.

I've used Eric's Plumbing and Heating for nearly 20 years. Mostly for sewer rodding. Recently we hired his team to do the plumbing for a bathroom renovation. Eric was easy to work with, the service was outstanding, the quality of work was excellent, and the price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend Eric's Plumbing.

.All of my experiences and service calls with Eric were terrific. He was always on time, was very conscience of working quickly and thoroughly . He was very kind and accommodating to my many questions about what he was doing and why, as I love to learn about how repairs are done so I can become more knowledgeable as a homeowner. Last year Eric helped me through a very difficult time when I stepped off the last stair in my basement into 8 inches of water. He came immediately when I called and was very compassionate and supportive to me, as there was a great deal of damage in my basement. I was under terrible financial stress and expressed my concerns. He, I felt graciously worked with me He worked on clearing the area from the catch basin to the sewer line and kept hitting something. He first thought it was tree roots, but then quickly realized it was not because of the way it felt on the end of the rod. He immediately went to check to see if the blockage or break was on my property side or the Cities side. It was really close. Eric was certain it was going to be their responsibility, but of course would have to prove it. He took the steps necessary to show the City inspector, but the inspector was still doubting the evidence, but Eric kept on talking with him and showing him with the equipment he had the proof. The Cities sewer pipes had broken on their side not mine! Eric proved his case and thank God the City had to foot a huge bill and not me! Eric then provided me with a pump to use in case I needed to use one for the duration of the time it took the City to come out and make the repairs. I felt very fortunate to have him on my side, and his expertise certainly was obvious to me and the City inspector. I will continue to use Eric as my plumber because in this day and age it is difficult to find experience, knowledge and integrity with great service. By the way, my neighbors use Eric and continue to use him as well!

They are always on time. I really like the attention to detail that they pay to their work and they make sure everything is working the most efficient way. The last time they were here, they replaced the drain pan for me.

Eric and I walked around the building then sat down, and I began to write down our options and his ballpark cost of $9-12K. We asked him to provide a written estimate. He told us he would NOT provide a WRITTEN estimate unless we agree to hire him. How could we possible make an educated guess and compare quotes if we have nothing in writing? Or enter into an agreement if we do not know what we are getting into? He said call up a few other plumbers and ask them to give you their opinion of what is needed and get a ballpark price from them. This is when he started shifting on his feet, acting like I was wasting his time and in a hurry to leave. We know that if you do not compare apples to apples then your not getting accurate quotes. And anyone who makes us feel uncomfortable is dangerous. What we learned: From now on when scheduling interviews we make sure they will provide a written quote for any critical project before inviting them over.

ERIC IS A VERY GOOD PLUMBER. HE WILL NOT CUT CORNERS OR DO THINGS THAT ARE NOT CORRECT. HE IS VERY HONEST AND UP FRONT. LIKES TO WORK AND DOES NOT LIKE TO BE INTERRUPTED. HE WAS OVER BOOKED DURING MY PROJECT AND IT CAUSED SOME TIME DELAYS FOR ME, BUT HE WAS GOOD ABOUT INFORMING ME OF HIS SCHEDULE AND RE-SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS. HE IS PRETTY RELIABLE.
