Description of Work: After two cancellations, Mr. Prestwood came to my home to give me an estimate; one cancellation was due to weather. He stated car trouble as the cause of the second cancellation. Mr. Prestwood was very professional, pleasant and helpful. He told me he hoped to fax me an estimate of the work to be done within two days. That was approximately 4 weeks ago, and I have not heard from him.

Description of Work: Remodeled basement, Installed 12x12'' porcelain tile on basement floor and stairs (diamond pattern), installed drywall, windows, drop ceiling, lighting, paint, doors, wood trim and sump pump with back-up.

After having dumb and dumber do work in my bathroom (they were recommended by a friend and had done good work for my friend, but did not know enough about natural stone and how to properly install it) it was a pleasure to work with Gerald and his crew. They finished the job in less time than scheduled, and the price was very reasonable. I had a quote from a different company for $950 more. Great value and you really got a sense that not only did they know what they were doing, they were concerned that they do the right thing for your project - they did not cut corners, and I appreciated that.
Description of Work: Removal of a marble bathroom floor another contractor had installed improperly. Installed new floor, new vanity, new medicine cabinet, reinstalled existing toilet and fixing the glass shower doors that were leaking.

+ -1 moreMR PRESTWOOD AND HIS CREW WORKED QUICKLY AND NEATLY. THEY FINISHED THE WORK ON TIME, AS PROMISED, AT A FAIR PRICE. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS FIRST CLASS AND I WOULD USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED MARBLE TILE ON MY FIREPLACE AND HEARTH, REPLACED GARAGE DOOR AND OPENER, REPLACED SUMP PUMP IN BASEMENT AND INSTALLED A SINK AND FAUCET IN THE BASEMENT.
