Everything went smoothly, Carpet install was great.

It worked out great! It took them about 4-5 hours to complete the work. They were very good, very professional. The workers came in to do their job, they were very nice. I plan to use them again.

I think the selections of carpeting are limited in terms of quality and color. I wish they had a little bit more variety in color and material. We wanted something that was more white, and what they put in was a little darker than what we wanted. Price-wise they were very good and cheap, but I'm not sure if that's enough to use them again. It was done quickly. The salesman told us they would be quick. They come in, and within a few hours they move the furniture, replace the carpet, and put everything back. It was pretty amazing.

I was scheduled for a Saturday installation, they called on Thursday to cancel due to the fact that they did not have the product that I ordered. The next week, the crew came out and told me that I could not get the product that I wanted because my floors were uneven. The salesman had already told me that they could install plywood to level out the floors. I called and after multiple phone calls, the salesman came back with a different product. I didn't really like the product, but I agreed. Another cancellation. We are now at two weeks before Christmas. I called numerous times, then I said forget it. I will wait until after the holidays. I scheduled a date after Christmas, I got another call to cancel this date and reschedule. The next crew that came out had a product that was so flimsy and cheap looking, I just canceled the entire order. Calling customer service was a joke. You talk to three different people and you get three different answers. This was a comedy of errors that I would not wish on anyone. Last week, when I attempted to close out the line of credit that I secured for the installation, I was told that there was still an authorization in place by Empire. So the phone calls started again. You can't just cancel an order, you have to talk to person after person after person to get a cancellation processed. Three months later no flooring and I just received confirmation that the order was cancelled on February 3. Terrible experience.

The installers showed up on time and got right to work. I am very happy with the work done. I would have them again.

The floors look amazing and have an excellent warranty. I met with a Sales Rep on Saturday and my floors were installed by the following Friday night.

It was great. They were right on time. I was very reluctant to use them based on negative reviews, but because of price, we decided to take a chance and were very pleased. It took about a half day. They were great. Respectful.

There were 3 people. They were probably here about 4 hours. They took every scrap and vacuumed up really well.

I am pretty sure the price is really reasonable. I believe there were just 2 people. That probable about 5 hours because of the stairs and everything. Left things very clean. They is why we have them come and do our other items, because they’re clean and they don’t leave anything laying anywhere when they are out of there. You wouldn’t even know that they were here.

Very poor service. Showed up one day late for both the install and one repair (yes, needed a repair right away because one board is defective and one piece installed was broken). Kept me waiting all day both times that they didn't show up. Did not do repair properly. Today, I am waiting for the repair to the repair and once again they have not shown up in the window provided to me.

I got three estimates, Empire was the cheapest- the quote was for Anso Nylon - 20 yr warranty, all good quality markers. Salesman was on time and friendly- he didn't try and up sell me anything. The crew for installation came out on time, and got to work and worked hard till the job was complete around 7 hrs later. They hauled away the old carpet and left the basement clearn. Father and two sons- the work was great- the floors look wonderful. I really don't have anything but positive comments for the whole process, and very pleased with the installer crew.

They do recycled carpet. My granddaughter has slept on it several times. My dog as drooled on it many times. I'm amazed at how stains come out of it. every spot. Its just recycled plastic. It feels like regular carpet. He did the cleaning too. i've had them put in ceramic tiles, for the kitchen floor without grout. Its white in colour. I love the carpeting. I love the ceramic tiles When they where putting in the recaudaron around the Kitchen, they didn't know how to doing so much. My brother came and fixed it. They took out the wood strip to put the ceramic, then they threw it out. Which wasn't right. You dont do that. I dont have a wood strip to replace it with. I have to go out an find that exact same piece. They should have talked to me and asked if I wanted to keep it, I know it was dirty. It could have just been cleaned. I would use them again, unless it has to do with wooden floors

I would give an A for the carpet work and a C- for the vinyl work. August 30th I had vinyl installed in my kitchen/laundry room and on August 31st , I had carpeting installed in the living room, dining room, bedrooms, hallways, stairs, and loft. The vinyl install of the 30th went well with the exception of the contractors nicking my walls even though I asked them to be very careful as the walls had just been painted the day before, they also left glue footprints on the new vinyl and installed two different colored trims. When I asked if they typically install two trim colors in the same room, they just shrugged and didn’t answer. They never gave me the option of trim color, they just installed with what they had in the van. I was very uncomfortable with them and didn’t see the footprints on the flooring until they left. I just wanted to get them out of my home. The carpeting work was wonderful. The contractors who came out to do the work were polite, efficient, speedy and very mindful of the walls. A sharp contrast from the contractors of the day before. I am very happy with the work they did and was very comfortable with them in my home. I called Empire a total of eight times that week (both local and national office) before receiving a call back regarding the vinyl install. I requested they have a contractor (a different contractor) come out to fix the trim and remove the glue from the vinyl. A contractor came out the following week and replaced the trim and removed the glue. They were extremely polite and did the fix in a timely/efficient manner. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. I was also told I would get a small refund. The refund has yet to happen and it is now the end of September.

First, the salesman arrived, as scheduled. Though we requested an estimate for vinyl (to keep costs down), he went directly into ceramic tile and dodged any requests on a lower cost material. We eventually came to an agreement on ceramic after he agreed to "match" the vinyl price he was quoting us. Second, we scheduled the install on a weekday and cleared our work calendar to be available for the entire day install. We received 2 emails confirming the install date/time window. We also confirmed via a phone call. The morning of the appt (8am-6pm window), by almost 9am we had yet to hear anything from the installers. We called Empire and were told to wait and call back if we hadn't heard by 10:30am. At 10am we received a call stating that it needed to be rescheduled due to no installers being available. How disrespectful can the Empire company be to assume people can easily (and cheaply) clear an entire work day for an install? When we asked if we would be reimbursed in any way for our time, they said they could give us $75 off. So we would have had to pay $100 if we cancelled, but it was okay for them to cancel and give us only $75 a project that was well over $1,500. We rescheduled for the following week with no guarantee on what time the installers would show. At 9:45am the day of the install, the installers showed up. They were unaware of the $75 credit, though they didn't question it. (Why was this not communicated?) They proceeded with the install and did a great job. I wish I had gotten that company's name as I would recommend working with them directly. At the end of the project, however, we were asked by Empire to pay $79 to cover the cost of them cutting 3 doors (since they ended up raising the level of the floor). While we knew they charged extra for this service, we were never given an opportunity to decline to do it ourselves. After some discussion, Empire agreed to not charge us as the work was already done without our prior consent to pay. Overall, the installers did a great job and we are very pleased. However, to say we are very disappointed in the service from Empire (from the sales person, to the late cancellation, disrespect of our time, to feeling nickel and dimed to the end) would be an understatement. We will definitely not be recommending them to anyone else.

They had a hard time prepping actually upcharged me for it . The flooring was not the highest quality but its ok.

We had a great experience with Empire. It was as good as their commercials promise. We had an appointment with their salesman on Friday afternoon and had new carpet on our stairs before noon on Saturday. Both the salesman and the installer were prompt and professional. We appreciated the fact that the salesman assured us that we would be perfectly happy with the less expensive of the two carpets we were considering. Their price was within the range quoted to us by another company that would have taken 2 to 3 weeks to install it. I will happily use Empire again the next time we need carpet.

The rep was very thorough and reasonable on pricing / he applied a few promotions to keep the cost low. The install team was fast, tidy - they did a great job.

Went well, kind workers. Kind of expensive but easy to work with.

They came within the last 15 minutes of the 2 hour window that was scheduled. The person was very pleasant until he presented me with the final estimate. It would have been $1600 for the job. Once I told him it was too expensive, he got a little rude said that I would not get it done for under $1000 and that Empire does not want that type of business anyway. He wished me luck, turn around and walked away. His tone of voice, more than his actual words, showed that he thought Empire was superior to everyone else. I am so glad Empire is doing so well that they can turn down small, insignificant jobs. Two other carpet providers gave me estimate of $850 and $925 for the same job. I will be using one of them.

We were speculative about the high price, so with tinted casements and shatterproof glass we expected more and a higher quality. WRONG. The new windows had oversize frames thus we lost a lot of light. The tear out quality was less then desired as there were seems visible from old frame.

It took longer then promised due to unforeseen obstacles but it was done in timely manner. We like the quality and guarantee, but the finishing touches of thresholds were unsightly.

I got two dogs so the guy recommended laminate because it's strength resistant for like twenty-five years. It was about half the price too. I had carpet in the house and I wasn't sure about the procedure they were gonna use but they explained everything in detail and everything pretty much turned out like they said. They guy did an excellent job. The only thing is that we were kinda disappointed with the company, they wouldn't do the wood floor on the stairs so we had to get carpeting. They wanted to do the carpeting for five hundred dollars and I asked the lady whether the installers won't come up with less than five hundred dollars. They want the carpeting at first for free but they couldn't guarantee us the quality and we don't like a shack carpeting so we went with a different company that did the stairs only for that reason only for three hundred dollars. Other than that though, we were happy with the Empire.
