Eli Wyn Upholstery and Quinlan's Furniture

I haven't been able to get in touch with this company in order 2 weeks. I have an open order with them that's been paid for and they aren't responding to calls or emails.

They used a different stitch on the cushion than what was on the rest of the chair. They said they would come pick them up and fix them. When they delivered the chairs, the cushions were too narrow for the chair and the seat cushions on the bottom were completely gone and had been replaced with like a foam rubber. They said they couldn’t figure out what happened to the original cushion and were going to try and re-manufacturer the original cushions and they were unable to do that. I contacted Webber and they did an excellent job in reconstructing the cushions. Eli Wyn said they would pay for the cushions to be replaced. They then refused, but then agreed to pay after I threatened to sue them. We waited about 2 month for them to issue the balance that Weber was looking for. They lied so much and I could never get a straight answer from them. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay away from this company.

I have used Eli Wyn in the past to restuff chair cushions and pillows with fresh down, and also to make and upholster a window seat cushion. I found them again on the web (they are in a new location), and sent an email with my request. I received an email answer back with approx. pricing. I followed up with a phone call and spoke with Betsy. I explained what I needed done, and she was so helpful. Initially she told me it would take a couple weeks to complete, as they were very busy. I only had 6 days before my husband returned from a trip, and I had to have it back by then (no sofa cushion = unhappy man), so I told Betsy I would have to wait until the next time he went out of town. She put me on a hold for a few minutes and then came back on and said she understood my situation and they would get it done for me in time. She arranged to have the cushion picked up the next morning (it is too large to fit in my car & delivery/pickup is $55, totally worth it to me). Right on time early the next day, the cushion was picked up. Two guys came, and they wrapped the cushion in plastic before they took it out to their van. Four days later, after arranging a delivery time that worked around my schedule, the cushion was delivered back to me. It looks and feels great. The entire sofa looks better and more luxurious now. I so appreciate how Betsy went out of her way to get this job done for me, especially considering how small a job it was.
