On the day the work began, Marcus was prompt, self reliant, and clean. To complete the job, he did have to take a portion of the door back to his wood shop for a precise cutting and returned, as scheduled, to complete the job. The following day there was a small problem with the hinges and Marcus was out that night to complete the repair. In conclusion, I would recommend Marcus, and I would use him again.

I hired Marcus to restore and refinish my front entre door. The door was pretty severely weather damaged and several sections of the trim were coming apart. I initially wanted the door stained and sealed. Marcus suggested to paint the door a semi-gloss black. I decided to go with his suggestion. A couple days later the door was delivered. The trim looked like new and the mitered corners were perfect. Marcus rehung the door and also installed all new locks for free. The door looks fabulous and really increased the curb appeal of my house. I also hired Marcus, a second time, to refinish my living room coffee table and two end tables. The results were equally as good, if not better than, the door he had refinished for me. Marcus was great to work with. He listened to what I wanted, really delivered and he was a pleasure to have on my two jobs. I am most definitely a very happy customer and would hire him again.

It went very well. He was able to repair the broken piece in-home so we didn't have to travel with the sofa or hire someone to move it for us. He came with the tools necessary for the repair and additional wood just in case. He double checked the other side of the sofa to make sure nothing was broken underneath either. He even replaced the risers on the sofa so that they were even with the sofa chair even though he didn't have to. He was very professional and punctual. He tightened the piece of wood together and added more screws to make sure that it wouldn't create a slope anymore. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend this service.

He came over within a few days with his tools and went right to work when he arrived. Saw what the problem was and knew what had to be done. He needed some bolts and asked if there was an Ace nearby I told him there was a Home Depot right across the street, so he walked over got what he needed came back and had the job completed in about hour and half. Now the recliner is like new. What really impressed me was he came with tools in had to get the job done, and not just give me a estimate and charge for it. Marcus came and got the job done, in one visit the way it should be. I would call him again and recommend him to others.

The couch and love seat I have is 12 years old and I couldn't afford to buy a new one. I called Marc to see if the both the couch and love seat were salvageable. On the couch, March was able to put in place the main frame that held the lower bottom of the couch to the arm rest. He glued and nailed the pieces back in place. Then he strengthend the frame on the seat back so it would be secure and not wobble when some sat on the couch. The final item Marc worked on was secure the sofa frame back on to the main frame. The original bolts were coming out so Marc screwed the frame back onto the main frame so the sofa would not shift when you pulled out the sofa bed. On the love seat, Marc was able to fix the cross-member frame that held the seat back and seating element to to the main frame. In all the couch is way more secure than what it was before and I'm able to use both couches with no issues. Marc was able to give me alternatives while working on the couch to ensure it was what I wanted. He was friendly, courteous, patient and did not take any short cuts to fix the couch and love seat. I am now able to keep both for more years to come. Marc did a wonderful job with both pieces of furniture.

This provider's job exceeded my expectations. I was looking for someone who could "Think Outside The Box" regarding vintage or antique pieces - and I found him! My project wasn't complicated, but the piece needing to be repaired/restored is relatively fragile (50% vintage glass). Marcus was able to come to my home and do the repair on premises. This specifically alleviated the possibility of any damage that might be accrued during shipment to his workshop. Prior to work being done, Marcus quoted me a price that was reasonable and fair. He advised on what type of hardware to purchase to enhance the piece, as well as provided accurate measurements for two custom glass doors that needed to get cut for the showcase. Very, very pleased with this punctual and professional provider.

It went excellent start to finish. He used beautiful birch and oak laminates for the shelving. The shelving edges were trimmed in red oak. The wood selection really gave everything a very custom look. He did have to come back to modify one part of the closet system, yet all was good. Marcus is a true craftsman and puts a lot of love into the finished product.
