Overall, the project turned out nice, but there were some problems. My new flooring runs throughout the kitchen, bath, hallway and entrance way in family room. The old floor and sub-floor were not removed as promised. A significant amount of additional water was added to the grout, therefore changing the grout color drastically. This was confirmed by the store manager and a representative for the grout vendor who came out to my home and investigated the problem. The contractor refused to take responsibility for the problem and correct it. While redoing all of my plumbing, the hot/cold lines to my old bath/shower were reversed. Contractor refused to complete the range hood fan installation and bathroom exhaust. No clearance was left around my refrigerator, although it had been measured prior to project start. My refrigerator is wedged in and hard to pull out from the wall. Contractors wife was responsible for kitchen design and for ordering cabinets through her company.
