For the most part, the work performed was of average quality, for not-so-average prices. The owner, Dana, appears to be sincere in his wishes to satisfy. However, my pieces were delivered several weeks later than the promised delivery date. Even with this late date, I had to constantly call Dana to track down the status of my items. Dana kept promising the items on a certain date, and when the date came and went without a call or a delivery from him, I would have to call him to find out when the next "delivery" date would be. On several occasions, he promised to meet me at his store or leave items to be picked up, and then either did not show up for the meeting or did not leave the items. When my items were finally delivered, there were several mistakes (i.e., cushion covers did not fit, there were holes in the seams, borders were crooked because he was obviously rushing to finish) that needed to be fixed. He wasted a huge amount of my time and money. I have never written an online review of a merchant before, but I was so disgusted with this experience that I felt compelled to warn others.

It is amazing the stress that three teenagers can put on a sofa. Seven years ago, I got a great deal on a new sofa it is extra long and has very deep sitting area which is great for my tall family. The cushions were beginning to lose their shape and firmness. The rest of the sofa is in great shape and right now a new sofa is just not in our budget. I took the cushions to Lakeshore Upholstery and in five days I picked them up. I decided on a firm filling and I swear the sofa is more comfortable now than it ever was when new.

I GAVE HIM $1500 UP FRONT ON JAN. 9TH, 2006. HE TOLD US IT WOULD TAKE 3 OR 4 WEEKS FROM THE TIME I'D SHOWN HIM PICTURES OF HOW I WANTED THE CHAIRS TO LOOK. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO A SAMPLE, THEN COMPLETE THE CHAIRS AFTER I APPROVED. HE SHOWED ME A SAMPLE AND IT WAS HORRIBLE. I TOLD HIM TO STOP AND I WOULD TAKE THE CHAIRS BACK, BUT HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE CHAIRS BACK AND SAID HE WOULD DO THE WORK AND IT WOULD LOOK BEAUTIFUL. HE SAID HE WOULD DO ONE CHAIR, THEN OTHERS IF IT WAS GOOD. WEEKS WENT BY AND I CALLED, HE THREATENED TO DO A BAD JOB IF I HURRIED HIM. HE FINALLY CALLED ME IN EARLY JUNE TO COME AND TAKE A LOOK AT HIS WORK, HE HAD GUTTED ALL 6 OF THE CHAIRS AND STAINED THEM. THE WORK LOOKED TERRIBLE AND I ASKED THAT HE RETURN MY CHAIRS WITH MY MONEY BECAUSE HE HAD NOT DONE THE WORK WE AGREED UPON. AFTER 2 LETTERS FROM OUR ATTORNEY AND ABOUT $600 IN LEGAL FEES, HE HAS BEEN UNWILLING TO RETURN MY CHAIRS OR RESOLVE THIS.

OWNER WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND ACCOMMODATING BEFORE THE SALE WAS MADE, BUT AFTERWARDS IT SEEMED LIKE IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. CAME TO MY HOUSE AND BROUGHT FABRIC SAMPLES, TOOK THE ITEM AWAY WITH HIM, PROMISED TO DELIVER IT TO ME WHEN I NEEDED IT. AT FIRST, HE CALLED ME UP AND WANTED TO DELIVER IT SOONER BECAUSE HE NEEDED THE FINAL PAYMENT. IN THE END, HE DELIVERED IT ALMOST 2 WEEKS LATE. ALSO, THE QUALITY OF THE WORKMANSHIP WAS LOWER THAN I EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE I PAID.
