I called Diaz Drywall on 6-23-12 to set up an appointment for him to come to my mother's house on 7-5-12 to look at work she needs done. I manage my mother's affairs, though I live in WI--4 hours from my mother's house in Chicago. Mr. Diaz assured me that entire day was open and arranged to meet me at Mom's house at noon on 7-5-12. He asked me, however, to call him on 7-3-12 to remind him of our appointment. When we made the appointment he indicated he was at home. He doesn't have an appointment calendar?! I did call him on 7-3-12 to mind him of our appointment and texted him to remind him again. Coming from a long distance, I have no time for "no shows." Mr. Diaz, however, did not show up for his appointment and did not bother to call to cancel. Yes, he did have my contact information. I did call him 30 minutes after he was scheduled to meet with me, but he neither answered his phone nor got back to me. I don't care how good a price he offers or how good a job he does IF he shows up--who has time for unreliable contractors? Not me. Also, I came to Chicago with a limited time to see contractors. I had 5 scheduled to see that afternoon and evening. Mr. Diaz's failure to show up prevented me from seeing someone else. He knew I was coming from a distance. He knew I had limited time. He was simply irresponsible.

They were very reasonably priced and they were very quick with their quote. They did very very good work. I'm very pleased with the result and all of the drywall, and where there were trouble spots especially, it looks very very good.

They're great. They came in with the best price of 5 contractors. Quality is very good. I'll have them back in a couple weeks to do another apartment in the building.
