They did an amazing job on the remodeling. The guy who came out was phenomenal. He came up with lot of unique ideas which was a budget saver. He had a bunch of friends and some contractors and they all did a great job together for a very good price. There were a estimates from a couple of agencies. But this one turned out to be the best and reasonable. I would recommend them to anybody else.

Danny and Dan were the main contractors, and they used a third for some of the painting He used subs on the electrical and plumbing work. We told Danny it was our first remodel, and we figured he'd engage us more because of it. That didn't happen. The large issues are OK, but the details were lacking. They were very clean and conscious of laying down tarp and plastic, but they didn't do all the prep work (removing hardware, masking) that they should have. There were some drips in the paint. We also had to repaint some areas that didn't have full coverage. They were very flexible with the schedule, graciously waiting while we had a problem with the tub order. But they didn't offer any guidance for our questions and it hurt the project overall. We knew we wanted a tub wider than the existing (30 => 32) and had told Danny this before we even hired him. He said it would be ok, but it didn't seem that this was communicated with the plumber. The plumber then had an issue with the drain location, and the electrician had an issue with the moved sink not lining up with the lighting fixture (moving it was another surcharge). Danny's answer was that he just assumed we knew and were OK with it. A 5 minute talk would have solved this weeks beforehand. A similar issue happened with the toilet. We showed Danny our order which mentioned non-standard roughin for the toilet. He said no problem. Then at install time, the plumber added a $150 surcharge for work on the non-standard rough in. We felt pressured since we had no toilet (we have one bathroom). As initially installed, the toilet was wobbly. The plumber didn't seem to want to fix it. Danny eventually fixed it, somewhat reluctantly. After installation, the toilet leaked. The plumber reluctantly came back to adjust it. Weeks later we found it leaking again. When we had someone else look at it, they said the toilet tank was never installed right. We had all materials out for inspection. The plumber never checked the accessories, and at the last minute we found that we were missing a part for the shower faucet. I had to rush to get the part because the plumber said he'd leave, without installing, in 20 minutes. Luckily I found the part and made his deadline. The caulk started to have hairline cracks after a few weeks. There were a lot of details that we found lacking. Danny needs to spend a lot more attention to detail, and have a walk through with his customers after the job. It seemed that he thought he was done, to his standards, and that was enough. At the beginning, Danny was very friendly. During the job, he seemed more passive to communicate the details. When asking him to make some changes (since we didn't discuss at the first place), he easily got defensive and passive aggressive. Although this is our 1st time, I think we all deserve 100% and have the contractor to learn our vision of the project. Not recommend this contractor to 1st timers.

We were very pleased with Destiny Development, the product, the experience and the price. Danut's labor estimate was significantly less than several other Angie's List contractors (the $14K total includes all materials, not just labor), and there were no unexpected surprises. We liked Danut very much, he's personable, very responsive and easy to communicate with. Our bathroom remodel project also ended up coinciding with a family medical situation, and Danut and his team were very easy to work with around our limited schedule. Danut also offered to be called at any time once the job was done for any issues, and in fact came right out a couple months later when asked to tweak a control in the shower. Finally, perhaps most importantly, we love our new luxurious master bathroom (especially the walk-in shower, which we probably wouldn't have done with a more expensive contractor) they did a fantastic job!

Went well -- Dan is courteous, prompt, and does what he says he is going to do. Crew is prompt, courteous, skilled, and cleans up well. Our only complaint is some of the finishing work was left to us -- grout haze removal and re-gluing vinyl strip in kitchen.

Their pricing was much less than other companies. Everything looks good. They were professional and very friendly to have in my home. The job was done in a timely manner.

He gave me his estimate which was well laid out. His payment plan was set up in stages which was very professional. He gave me a good time frame. He was courteous and professional the whole time. The reason I didn't go with him was because I'm very meticulous when it comes to my house and I went with a personal reference because I trusted that a little more since I would be out of town.

They were timely, did good quality work and had a good price.

Deni, the general contractor, was honest and provided a detailed estimate which gave us an idea of what we had to spend. When things needed to be added Deni also provided us with detailed estimates of the new work. He did what he said he would do in a timely manner. The work was superb and I would recommend Deni to anyone who needs work done whether it be commercial or residential.

I first contacted Denny in October 2007 to get an estimate. We quickly came to an agreement on the labor cost and a beginning work date of January 21, 2008. I live in a high rise condominium building and the project had to be approved by the building. Denny submitted all of the necessary documentation and the project was quickly approved. Denny and his crew arrived on time every morning. They cooperated fully with the requirements of the building. I found Denny to be very cooperative and a pleasure to work with on this project. I was home during the project and Denny communicated what was being done each day and was open to my input. He is dependable and trustworthy. After the project was completed he didn't hesitate to come back and make a couple adjustments that I requested. I would hire Denny again.

Danut and team are extremely professional and easy to work with. These guys work extremely hard! They arrived well before 8am each day and were often here until 5 or 6 pm. They even came out on Saturdays. We were originally scheduled to finish in two weeks, but this was impossible because I kept adding on more projects. A great thing about Destiny is that the estimate does not include materials. Danut provides receipts and we pay actual cost most contractors will overestimate materials. The final product is beautiful and we love the new space. Danut is still coming out upon request to perfect and fine tune as we spot things we want changed. We highly recommend.

I went on Angie's List around 1:00 PM on a Sunday. I had called a few numbers and Denny from Destiny called me back within 2 hours and actually came out that same day! He was on another job and would stop by later. Denny, and his crew were on time and very professional, even with a few problems, due to our floor not being leveled. The tile look greats and he did come out when I had a problem re-installing the bathroom mirror. I would recommend this company.

To date, Denny has done 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and various other remodelling projects for me totalling over $15,000. I am extremely satisfied with his work. Denny will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with the final results. This is so rare that you'd be foolish not to call him for a quote. Also, Denny's prices are great! Before I hired him, I asked for a list of references (even though I found him on Angie's list). His assistant emailed me 5 names and numbers within 2 hours. I reached 4 of those people, all of whom had great things to say about Denny. Most recently, I called Denny at 4:30pm on a Friday during a huge storm. I had tried to switch 2 ceiling fans, and wasn't sure I was hooking them up correctly (I had 2 bedrooms with no lights right before the weekend!). Denny drove through rush hour traffic in the rain and was at my house within an hour. He hooked up the lights in 45 minutes and wouldn't even let me pay him. That's Customer Service!!!

After our previous General Contractor turned a one month project into four months of pain, we fired him and selected Danut Mitrus of Destiny Development Team from Angie's List. In the end, we were almost one hundred percent satisfied with Destiny. Given the past experience we had with disreputable contractors, that is saying a lot. Danut did more work in two weeks than our previous G.C. did in four months, and his price was reasonable. If things go wrong, as they often will, Danut works on solving the problem to his client's satisfaction. We found Danut a pleasure to work with and were, with few exceptions, satisfied with the work he performed on the project.

Denny is great. I hired him after firing another contractor who was supposed to work on my kitchen. The other contractor let several weeks go by without touching the kitchen. I found Destiny Development Team on Angie's list. He came by one day after talking on the phone to estimate the cost. I requested pictures of previous kitchens that he'd done. He e-mailed those to me within two days. His price was reasonable so I hired Denny. We then met at a kitchen supplier warehouse so that I could purchase the materials. Denny was there waiting for me with a computer-generated drawing of what my kitchen would look like after he completed it. That was very impressive. In one day, Denny tore out all old cabinets, old walls, old floors-disposed of materials, then started to hang the new dry wall. It's taking him all of one week to complete the kitchen. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Denny and Destiny Development Team. In fact, I'm hiring him again to do my basement.

Denny is the most reliable, competent, and reasonably-priced service provider that I have had the pleasure of working with in a long, long time. He brings an expertise, enthusiasm, and European work ethic to the job. He was on time, completed the work in a timely fashion, and did an excellent job. It is harder and harder to find skilled service providers whose fees are more than reasonable and whose work far exceeds the price. If you have remodeling/work to be done in your kitchen, bath - of in any other part of the house, for that matter - you'd be foolish not to consider Denny and Destiny Development!
