It went well. It turns out the exhaust got blocked by some debris and they had to blow it out with a leaf blower.

The service was done on time and efficiently. The also cleaned up the area completely when they were finished.

Could not recommend Deljo higher. My experience with the sales and service teams were nothing but positive and professional. Fair pricing, fast and high quality work. Great communication and peace of mind with QA/service after install. These guys stand by their work.

Our boiler died on a cold March morning. We needed a replacement quickly, but wanted to go with a reputable company because our last boiler only lasted 9 years. Deljo met with us quickly, diagnosed the problem thoroughly in both oral and written form, gave us cost estimates for repairing or replacing. When we decided to replace, they scheduled us in less than 48 hours, worked quickly and efficiently, and had good follow-up. During installation they discovered 2 additional parts that needed replacement, gave me a quote, I asked for a discount, and they gave me a 10% discount. During that first week, I called them because temperature was reading higher than thermostat, which never happens in our house during winter. I was worried that boiler was not responding to thermostat and our gas bill would be higher than necessary. They came, checked it out thoroughly, said boiler was not working unnecessarily, thermostats were okay, probably a case of new boiler being more efficient than old boiler.

I have been working with them for probably over 20 years.

It was something around $600. That was for both parts and labor. I don't really have anyone to compare them to. I have used them for a long time, and overall they are very good about maintaining the heating system in our house. The first visit the guy was out here for about 2 hours and couldn't find anything. When I called them back after Christmas the guy was out here for a few. They have a gold star membership plan that I am paying. They are very good at dispatching people for emergencies for that plan. They are good about communicating who is coming and when.

I have used Deljo Heating and Cooling to service my furnaces, humidifiers and air conditioners for over five years. I have a monthly subscription service with this company Today, I canceled the service because I sold my house and I am moving. I had a yearly contract with the company. Deljo's technicians are very knowledgeable. They kept my equipment in excellent working condition. I have each piece of equipment cleaned and checked once each year. It is easy for me to make an appointment. The technicians always call before they arrive. This has been an excellent company to work with.

Great- very professional and thorough

This company has taken care of my heating and air conditioning systems for a number of years. They are reliable. It is easy for me to get an appointment and I always receive a phone call 20 to 30 minutes ahead of the serviceman's arrival. The serviceman cleans up everything before he leaves and reviews the services that he performed. While the furnaces are over 10 years old, they work extremely well because I change the filters and regularly have them cleaned. This is an excellent company.

Always prompt, communicative, respectful. I have been using DELJO for several years now for the services described above.

It worked out very well. For price, you get what you pay for. For punctuality, they are very good. The best part is if they can't come out, they will let you know that. They are very reliable.

The team was very professional in everything from the options of furnace units they recommended to the individual who installed the unit. They made a BIG purchase go smoothly and for that we are very appreciative.

Rafael arrived shortly after the office called to say someone was on the way. Rafael donned the paper booties upon entering the house so as not to soil the carpet. He got quickly to work. He let me know that he found one thing that was trending low on his checks, but told me it did not need to be replaced yet. He informed me how much it would cost when it did need repair. He was done within an hour. He was professional and very courteous.

Fantastic. They brought in a specialist in our brand of water heater and got everything completely fixed over the course of the week. Also pushed up our appointment after hearing our story. We had gone through 2 other independent contractors (one who originally installed the system) and both took our money but never fixed the issue. We went weeks without hot water.

The rep was able to diagnose the problem quickly and fix it in less than 90 minutes.

Great, as usual. The technician arrived on time, including with a phone call when he was on his way, he was polite, professional and helpful.

Service was good. Technician was very knowledgeable. Part took a while to arrive but that was the fault of Trane.

Last fall we had a new Unico air conditioning system installed to replace one that was installed in 2000 and which had failed, multiple times, during practically every cooling season. Towards the end of this first year of operation of our new system one day we realized that the new system had performed steadily and reassuringly and what an amazing feeling it was to have not been constantly worried about the next failure. The steady sound could be likened to the reliability of a jet engine by Rolls Royce. The old system, when it was running, required the thermostat to be set at 69 degrees to provide a reasonable degree of comfort for the bedrooms located in the middle of the apartment, the front of the apartment was so cold as to be not useable; the back of the apartment became progressively hotter. With our new Unico system from Deljo the thermostat was set at 73 degrees to provide a comfortable temperature for most of the apartment. There was one failure in the first week of operation, but it stemmed from the need to add refrigerant which had not been possible due to the outside temperature when the new system installation took place. What a good feeling. What a relief to be free of having to install window units as back up for the inevitable failures. The system still needs a minor adjustment to balance the cooling at the juncture of the front of the apartment and the back; this will involve installing a few more ports into two rooms. We have been impressed with the knowledge, courtesy and professionalism of everyone we?ve met from Deljo. We have been very pleased with Deljo, and with their work. To contrast this review of Deljo I am submitting a separate review of AA Service Company who designed and installed the previous Unico system for our home, and who serviced this system during all those years--15 years--to nurse it along during the cooling seasons.

They wanted me to sign a contract at that moment. When I said I'm not signing any thing today, the sales guy just stormed out my house and sent a screen shot of some prices.

They come every winter. We have a maintenance service with them.

Amazing - could not have gone better. The technician, Chris, took two hours to do the job - all of his time was spent conducting detailed and thorough analysis to properly troubleshoot. His time spent was well worth it as I went from thinking I had to pay $600 to replace my thermostat to paying $170 to have Chris update the settings on the thermostat and properly service my furnace. Chris investigated several different potential issues until he had verified that the equipment was working properly, after a tweak to the settings. Chris is a best in class professional - he is the best technician I've ever encountered in his field of work. I would be out of my mind to ever work with anyone else other than Deljo for future heating & cooling maintenance or troubleshooting. If there is a question regarding who to hire for heating and cooling, look no further than Deljo.

Technician was late, fairly rude and very unhelpful. He made it very clear that he/his company did not want to do the project. His attitude was very nasty and unhelpful.

They're no longer in our area. I like that they're competent. I dislike that they're expensive. I have good interactions with them. They should provide more value for the money.

Terrible. I purchased a service appointment coupon via Angie's List and was told via email that I would be contacted by Deljo H&C. Deljo never called so I reached out to them. Was told that they don't service my area. I live less than 4 miles from their shop. I asked why don't they post that information on their website and was told "management" will look into that. Since they still have the $$ I paid for the coupon, I'll take the liberty of doing it for them. Discrimination should be posted loud and proud. These jokers state on their website that they service Chicagoland. What's not posted is "except if you live south of 290". Someone name Bill Clement is suppose to get back to me and return my money. Still waiting to be contacted. I ended up calling Sears. They'll be at my home within 2 hours.

I have a year round service contract with this company. This semi-annual furnace check was a regularly contracted service. I called the office and set up an appointment. The office is very accommodating and I was easily able to set up an appointment at a convenient time. The service tech or the office always calls when the tech is ready to come to my home. Upon arrival, the tech puts shoe covers over his shoes to protect my floors. I have two furnaces, both approximately ten years old. Both furnaces have attached humidifiers that are active all winter. The tech cleans the furnaces and assures that both are working properly in preparation for the heating season. The humidifier water panels are replaced and the humidifiers are tested. Upon completion of the work, the tech reviews everything that he has done with me. Before signing a service contract with Deljo Heating, I tried a number of different heating and cooling companies. I have been very happy with their service.
