Called Deljo and they said they will send someone between 1 and 3. Ralph arrived a little after 1 and was professional and told me what to look and listen for and explained to me that the limit switch by the blower was open and was able to correct it .

Deljo was on the job the day I phoned them and diagnosed and repaired the problem. They called to see if they could arrive an hour early, which did not fit my schedule, so their representative arrived at the scheduled time. I'm not sure how their prices compare to others, but I was satisfied with the bill for the services rendered. I also signed up for a twice yearly maintenance service.

we'll be using them again for the re-connect and I rate them an A for coming on time and doing what they were supposed to do.

I don't think they are a legitimate company based on my experience with the service guy that was at my home.

Deljo contacted me immediately and set up an appointment right away. The service man was on time and very informative about what the problem was. The price was very reasonable. I am very very satisfied.

The diagnosis and repair were done very quickly. We were very pleased with the service and decided that we would benefit from having all three of our furnaces & ACs serviced by Deljo this winter and when we switch to cooling in the warmer months.

One room in our house was not getting sufficient heat. They provided an estimate the same day they came to the house and were able to schedule the work for the following week. They were able to make some adjustments to our current system to maximize the air going to that room. They also gave additional tips for insulating the crawlspace under the room. While the heat isn't perfect in the room (most likely due to additional insulation needs), they did a good job with what was available to them.

They are very responsive and do a good job. Before I got in touch with them, people would always try to sell me some part for my boiler, while they never do; year after year they just come and service the unit and they don?t try to get me to buy a part. If and when they tell me that I do need to get something, I am going to believe them. I use their gold star service and I think that the cost is $350, which offers both the fall cleaning and spring cleaning services. It also gives me priority on emergency work that has to be done. I am a realtor; I have referred them to clients and would continue to use them in the future.

They came out, looked at the place and gave us a fair estimate. Since our house is old, we were concerned about whether or not it would compromise the woodworking or the integrity of the house. We thought that it was going to be very dirty and dusty because they had to go through plaster in the ceiling. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves. There wasn?t a lot of cleaning to be done afterwards. We chose them because they had quite a few nice write-ups on Angie?s List. There was just one review on the List that dealt with the Unico System while the others were about conventional systems. We asked them for more references and checked them out. The price was about $16000 for the whole house, which I thought was good. We could have gotten a cheaper price but we went with them. We went through other companies as well but we didn?t particularly like their presentation. We were told by some companies that our plaster would be chipped but we didn?t have that problem with Deljo Heating & Cooling at all. The guy who did the work - I think his name was Adrian - devised some method where when he put the holes in the ceiling, there was no cracking. It was a perfect fit for the apparatus that was going up there. They were very responsive and they explained things very well. They didn?t rush through stuff but did the job in a timely fashion. They were very good at what they did. It was clear that if we had any problems, they would come out and take care of them. We haven?t had any problems at all. We were very pleased with them. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

They are very punctual. We have to make the appointments before we leave for work and they work with us.

They are very good with their time. They come out on time. They stand behind their work. They are very reasonably priced, even though they are a big company.

We haven't yet decided if we are going to hire them or not. They had installed a motor in our furnace once before. The guy who came first to install the motor didn't do the job in the right way. So, they sent a more experienced person when we called them up who replaced the motor without any problems. They had done some work on our air conditioning system for summer and so, we called them back again to give us a quote for a heater. We had paid them a little more than we had expected. John Ciszec was the consultant who came out to give us a quote for installing the heater. He was very professional and also gave us his recommendations. He also took his time to listen and evaluate our situation. We also looked at some photographs of plumbing that we had done prior to construction which helped him to evaluate our needs. He later on gave us a proposal for 2400 $. The one thing that we were a little bit skeptical about was that his company didn't do any kind of drywall work. There would have been a lot of holes that had to be made for the gas lines. So, that would have added to the cost. It would have been nice if they could do everything from beginning to end. They were punctual, as they came on time. We may use their services in the future.

The estimator & installers were all very professional, knowledgeable & thorough.

Deljo technician (Mike) performed a number of troubleshooting steps - none of which was able to find the source of the problem immediately. A routine test of the A/C system did not show any problems with the system (thus, masking the actual cause of the problem). It turns out that the tubing circulating the refrigerant was crimped. The location of the crimp was actually in the ceiling (above a storage closet). Upon Technician Mike's recommendation (after considering every other conceviable solution), we finally decided to have Mike open up the ceiling in the storage closet. At that point, the crimp was still not readily observable. After scrounging around in a very tight space, Technician Mike was able to spot the crimp. He cut out the crimp with a blow torch (in the very tight space) and attached replacement tubing. From start to finish, this turned out to be a frustrating 4-5 hour job and I was extremely happy that we were able to solve the situation that same day. Technician Mike's willingness to look at every possible option combined with his skills (from cutting open dry wall to cutting and connecting pipe) ensured that a follow-up visit would not be necessary. This was new construction and it is clear that the original installer of the A/C unit did a sloppy job (he also installed a vent and modified the filter opening at no charge). I was very satisfied with the service.

The work went on well and everything was done smoothly. I will use their services in the future as well.

Wonderful about calling to remind about making an appointment for maintenance. Was able to schedule a 7am appointment so that I could get to work on time. Service man was right on time.

Great. All work has been done promptly by professional and courteous technicians. Bill even came out and told us to save our money and skip a dehumidifier for our third floor a/c system as it was likely to add little benefit. We are very happy with our experiences with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

Prompt scheduling of the first appointment; serviceman showed up on time and called when he was about ten minutes away. He was knowledgeabe, courteous and patient with questions. When it was determined the furnace was too old to invest in a costly repair he was thorough with his explanation of the choices for the new furnace. When the furnace was installed a different repair person arrived. He was also prompt, courteous and professional. I had purchased a new thermostat which did not show on his work order. He went right to the truck and got one and installed same with no hassle. Good folks to do business with. Would highly recommend them to friends and family.

I felt the installation went quite well. Adrian and Jose, the install technicians, were professional and efficient as they completed the entire job in one day. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work performed as the technicians were very neat and cleaned up after the job was completed. Our salesman, Frank, stopped by on the day of the install to see how things were progressing and inquire if we had any questions or concerns. Due to the size and expected cost of this job, we decided to obtain quotes from four highly rated HVAC contractors (per Angie's List) for comparative purposes. Deljo's preliminary estimate was a bit on the high side; however, when told of this fact the salesman definitely stepped forth with a competitive quote. Ultimately we decided to go with Deljo as we had previously used them to service our furnace and a/c, and were always satisfied with the services they provided. It should also be noted that price alone was not our sole deciding factor in evaluating the four quotes.

I had this company come out as a "second opinion" after the first HVAC company came out and told me that I needed a new AC unit or at the very least a new exchanger. When this guy came out he was very professional and inspected the unit thoroughly. I specifically asked about the exchanger unit and he replied that everything looked fine and normal. I asked about the water dripping from the ceiling above the exchanger and he replied that if the freon is low in a unit the exchanger can freeze up and cause dripping outside the drain pan range. He then told me the best plan is to refill the AC unit and if the dripping happens again to call him back and he would recheck the pressure to confirm a leak. It's now September and I can happily say that there is no water and the house has been cool for what little "summer" we have had.
