On a personal level, she was a delight to work with, put me at ease, brought me out of my shell and made it a pleasant experience. She motivated me far beyond what I even thought I was capable of. Although I went into this intending to get rid of quite a bit, I would have to estimate that it ended up being about 10x what I had envisioned, partly due to the fact that the scope of the project expanded well beyond what I had dared hope! We made great strides in my 2nd priority where she helped me focus on the fact that by donating items that I was basically hoarding, having collected more than a lifetimes supply of products, instead of struggling to find ways to organize more than I would ever use, or telling myself that I would have a yard sale or find some productive way to use/dispose them, by just donating them, I could make them available to someone who might not normally be able to enjoy such products. They are out of my way, hopefully someone will enjoy them, I no longer have to think about them and heck, perhaps a little tax deduction as well. Amazingly, having agreed to extend her time by a bit, we ended up tackling yet another area, adding clothing to the growing collection of items to be donated, or in some cases, possibly put up for consignment sale. End result, the priority nook closet has about a fifth of the amount of stuff in it, you can actually walk into it and everything is readily accessible! My excessive amount of bath & beauty products has been reduced to a managable level and an additional storage area used primarily for supposed off-season clothing which had become more a home for clothing that I was not likely to wear again. Having perhaps been trained by this point, lol, it ended up being quick work to admit that almost all were best out of my storage and hopefully made use of by someone. Another area that I would say that we cleared 4/5s of the contents! All in all, my expectations were exceeded in every facet. I am extremely pleased with what was achomplished and would without hesitation recommend!
Description of Work: I think that I would have to say that she worked miracles! LOL I had purchased a Groupon for her services, hoping to just tackle a nook closet, a decent sized, if awkwardly shaped & undefined storage area that had become both a place to hide those items that you really don't want, but can't bring yourself to get rid of, as well as basically a dumping ground to stash things out of sight that you don't want to deal with at that moment. The sort of place where you find yourself adding another item (or two) to when picking up, while hoping that you wil be able to close the door before things start to escape! Although traffic hindered her on her way here, she called as soon as she realized it might be an issue, let me know what was going on and when she thought she would be able to get here. Certainly appreciated the heads up, but the short delay in our start time was no problem at all for me. When she arrived we did get right to work, completely emptying the space that was our primary focus and she began working her magic. Not only did she manage to ease the transition of giving up the items kept for basically inappropriate guilt at the thought of giving away or discarding items that had some, perhaps twisted, emtional attachment, but also managed to get me to confront the reality of what I may actually really use in the future vs. what I may have done in the past. For example, yes, it is true, although I may have in the past spent hours elaborately decorating christmas presents, at this point in my life, gift bags and pre-decorated gift boxes are what I turn to for the most part. No, I really didn't need the four (yes, I was surprised to find 4!) storage containers of paper, ribbons and all those saved to be reused bows. It is only this morning that it struck me that this purge is likely to free me from the misguided guilt that I had felt the past few years at not putting the effect I had at a different point in my life. Also, noticing a trend on guilt, seems that there may be some therapy involved with a good organization expert! So, continuing on that theme, as mentioned, she eased me past the inappropriate guilt of giving away items that I had received decades ago, ones that some pree-teen girl out there might actually enjoy vs. me keeping them stashed forever in the backs of closets. Again, just one example of many.

If you are overrun with clutter and mess and disorganization, Connie will provide you with EVERYTHING you need to help "restart" your home life. She will not waste your time or take longer than is necessary. She will get in and get out and GET THE JOB DONE!

The project was overwhelming to me. Deaatails was very professional, and helped me to make difficult choices. I feel free from the albatross that was around my neck, and am now happy to go into my basement. I can actually find things that I am looking for, I know that the treasures I kept are safe, and when I use my workout room I am not feeling guilty for not taking time to organize my space! Professional, direct, compassionate service with a smile...even laughter...going through the previously arduous project.
