 + -1 moreThe delivery man set-up the bed quickly. At the end of the month, my bank statement showed the charges. At the end of the next month, my bank statement showed a duplicate charge. When I made a call, I was asked what took me so long to find the error; to call another location/number. Another phone call, Sorry for the mix-up, we'll have it fixed in a few days and call you back. A few days pass with no response so I make another phone call, "We don't have those records here." "I'm pregnant and can't get to the other location." "Fax your bank records to me." I faxed the bank records and confirmed they were received. I finally went to my bank and filed a fraud charge. Bank of America quickly saw from the descriptions on DCI s statements the problem and credited my account WITH interest.
Description of Work: I saw a bed and table lamp on the showroom floor. After negotiating price and delivery costs, we agreed a NEW bed and NEW lamp would be delivered from the warehouse; not the floor models. A delivery date and time was set. I paid the full bill with my debit card. On the Saturday the delivery was to be made, I called the showroom an hour after the delivery window had been missed to inquire when I could expect delivery. Some lame excuse was given and delivery needed to be rescheduled for the next week. Next Saturday the delivery was late. I called again. Another excuse but the materials were en route . About 30 minutes later the truck arrived (just enough time to load the showroom stuff onto the truck and come over). Both the bed and lamp were from the showroom floor; not new ones from the manufacturer or warehouse as agreed. Another call. Since the materials were in good shape (there were no apparent problems, but I was leary of them), I reluctantly accepted delivery.
