Daniels Hardwood Flooring

We had a very good experience and they were recommended to us by a realtor. He was very responsive. Every time I called him he picked up his phone. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. We were not easy clients and went back and forth up until the last minute about whether to stain the floors or not. He was very patient in showing us examples and talking us through the decision. He met my husband very early in the morning to get the key to the house so he went out of his way for service on that. The floors look gorgeous. We finally went with the clear coat and the floors look wonderful. When they took out the linoleum they put in a kind of subfloor to make sure the new floor is exactly the same height as the other floors and matches the original floors. They did a good job cleaning up and he was pleasant and professional to work with from start to finish. The price was affordable and very reasonable.

I had two bedrooms in an empty rental unit that needed to have the carpeting removed and the floors sanded. Daniel was very responsive and flexible for my schedule. It went very well. Contractor was on time, accompanied by the owner, Daniel. The project was discussed before work began. The carpeting in both bedrooms was removed and taken out to the alley. The floors were sanded, and a satin coat of polyurethane was applied. The next morning, another light sanding was done and another coat applied -everything was finished before noon. In less than a day and a half, the work was done. The floors look great. I did not have stain applied (I like the natural look of the wood which is a dark honey color after the finish dried) so the job went very quickly.

I spent $3100 on the job. They were very quick. They completed the work in two days. They were very clean. They did a good job. They were very professional. I would use them again in the future.

Daniel was recommended by a friend. He quoted a price and gave an approximate date that he would be available when he arrived for the estimate. They used a sanding system that limits the amount of dust and the floors look great.

Daniel was fantastic. He was very responsive from start to finish. We initially contacted Daniel to pull up the linoleum in our kitchen and touch up what we hoped would be maple flooring underneath and to restore the floor in the master bedroom and the second bedroom that had nasty carpeting covering it. We were surprised to find that the second bedroom did have perfect maple flooring underneath and didn't even need a touch up. As it turned out, however, the floor in the kitchen did not have quality maple beneath, and was in rough shape. Daniel suggested that he could lay an oak floor on top of the existing wood (taking it down to the base would have done too much damage to the overall floor). We also learned that the floor in the master bedroom did not have complete hard wood, but was a strange combination of tile (the main entrance used to be there) and wood. We opted to put carpeting in that room. Daniel said he could sand and polish the living room/dining room and install the new hardwood floor in the kitchen for $1350. The other challenge was that our closing had been delayed and then we had appliances being delivered a week after closing. Daniel and his employees were able to complete the work in a week and it looks fantastic. They were very kind and courteous, and returned to cut the pantry door so it would open properly and to clean up the debris that had been placed on the deck. Daniel even spent about 10-15 minutes on the phone with me over a month after completing the work when I had some questions after our kitchen floor was scratched by the service man who came to fix our refrigerator.

DANIEL, THE OWNER, WAS VERY QUICK TO RESPOND MY CALL. HE WAS VERY PATIENT TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND WAS WILLING TO ACCOMODATE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
