Description of Work: Butch is an honest craftsman who takes his time and gets the job done right. He's very accommodating and his priority is to please. He matched the work of others for me and repaired what was done incorrectly. I appreciate his attention to detail and his quality work.

Description of Work: I have a very ''abused'' staircase that needs to be stripped and refinished, but it is not the type of work they do.

+ 0 moreMR. CLARK CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE SPACE AND STARTED THE DESIGN ON HIS LAPTOP SOFTWARE. WITHIN AN HOUR, HE HAD PICTURES OF WHAT IT COULD LOOK LIKE. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY MANY WEEKS OF OUR MAKING SMALL CHANGES TO MAKE THE CABINETS EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED WITH RESPECT TO DOOR AND DRAWER FRONT STYLES, AND OTHER ORNAMENTATION IN THE STYLING. THEY BROUGHT PHOTOS OF PREVIOUS PROJECTS AND BOOKS OF DIFFERENT STYLES TO CHOOSE FROM. THEY ALSO GAVE US A LIST OF ABOUT A DOZEN CUSTOMERS THEY HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED WITH, AND WHEN CALLED; SEVERAL INVITED US TO COME AND VIEW THEIR FINISHED PROJECTS. ALL THEIR REFERENCES SAID MANY GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE COMPANY. THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS SPECTACULAR, BUT TOOK A LOT OF TWEAKING ALONG THE WAY. SOME ERRORS WERE MADE IN THE BUILDING, BUT WERE FIXED WITH THE ATTITUDE THAT THEY DIDN'T WANT ANY PHASE OF THE PROJECT TO NOT MEET OUR APPROVAL. PERFECTION TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN WE EXPECTED. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT SOMETIMES THEY DIDN'T TARP WELL.
Description of Work: THEY DESIGNED AND BUILT TWO CUSTOM, BUILT-IN, CHERRY CABINETS, BOTH FLOOR TO CEILING. ONE IS ABOUT 15 FEET LONG WITH FIVE SECTIONS, AND THE OTHER IS 4 FEET LONG IN TWO SECTIONS. THE CABINETS WERE A MIX OF OPEN SHELVES, DRAWERS, AND STORAGE SPACE BEHIND DOORS. THEY ALSO PUT NEW CHERRY VENEER ON A BUILT-IN HALL CABINET.
