Creative Closets & Storage

Mike and Creative Closets did an amazing job with our three closets (two large walk in bedroom closets, and a pantry. Mike was great about going back and forth on designs until we got the best fit. He was also wonderful about working with our budget, even when I mentioned I wanted a few extras (like a jewelry drawer). Install was also easy -- Mike and two of his crew members were in and out in a couple of hours. I have recommended Creative Closets to friends, and will continue to do so.

The lack of professionalism and inability to apologize for their shortcomings is staggering. From start to finish, which was very short lived, they were rude, delayed, and disorganized. I tried to set up an appointment via their online booking form. It took them several days to get back to me. No worries, I understand, they are busy. The woman finally gets back to me at 5 :30 p.m. on the weekend of Xmas. I respond with a confirmation first thing Monday morning and she notifies me that someone else has my appointment time already. So apparently, they give out the same appointment time to many people and it's first come first serve. This is where is all goes down hill. I let her know I think this practice is unprofessional and tell her that that 9 a.m. (one of the other appt times she offered) will work. No response. Nothing, nodda, zip. Day of appointment: Door bell rings 30 min early and it's some guy (who knows what his name is because he never introduces himself). We inform him that he is early and we aren't ready yet. He tells us that our appointment is for 8:30 (nope, it's 9) and then tells us that he has other appointments and can't accommodate our time. Then, he looks through his phone for the email chain and sees that it's actually set for 9 a.m. because he backtracks and finally says that he can do 8:45 a.m. Fine, I'm not happy about all of this, but fine. Through all this he never apologizes. He rolls back up at 8:55 a.m. and when I answer the door, I explain to him that I'm confused by the mixup and let him know about the email exchange with the lady behind the email. He says in a rude manner, "Well, I'm here now so we can move on". Um, no, we can't. This is just getting worse and worse by the second and I tell him so. He comes in and as I'm letting him know that I'm upset by their unprofessional behavior and disorganization, he just stares at me. Doesn't say a word. At this point, I'm fed up and tell him an apology would appropriate. He then starts blaming ME for their unprofessionalism and horrible customer service saying that I took too long to get back to them in the first place. Still no apology for the mixup or anything else. At this point, I told him to leave and escorted him out. I have no idea if this was Mike, the owner, or not, but this was one of the most appalling customer service experiences I've had in a long, long time. This was NOT 5 star service as suggested by the other reviews on here. I guess, your mileage may vary with these guys? I'm not sure if his work is good or his estimate fair as I couldn't get past his extremely unprofessional behavior.

Great job! Our walk-in closet includes shelves, shallow and deep for clothes, & storage, single & double clothes hanging space, and drawers. We went with the white laminated wood, and are happy with the quality. Mike was a pleasure to work with, and we are very pleased with the results. He was able to do the install around my work schedule, and he got the work completed on schedule and in time for my house guests to use the new closet.

Mike is great. He is responsive and polite. Came out to the house within the week for an estimate. Got me the estimate within 48 hours. The software he uses make is very easy to see what he is planning to do. He gutted my closet and installed the most beautiful closet you will ever see!! He is detail oriented and asks all the right questions to make sure you are using the space to its full potential! He came to the house on time and ready to work. He is very trustworthy and I was comfortable leaving him in the house to work on his own. Once all the clothes were back in the closet there was a change I saw we needed to make. Mike got the issue and figured out how to fix it. He was back out to the house within a couple of days and fixed the hitch no problem! The price was excellent and the material was very high quality!

It was a pleasure working with Mike. I got three bids from three different companies and I went with Mike because of the closest design - very creative, price as well as timing. Mike said he could have the closet installed in two weeks - which he did. The 3 closets that we needed design were angled because of the roof but Mike made it work. We absolutely love our new closets. If I ever have a need to design any more closet I know who I will be calling. Thank you Mike

Creative Closets and Storage were great. They came out and did an estimate, gave me a design that we tweaked together. He came out about a week or ten days later and installed it.

The quality of the work was OUTSTANDING! Also, Mike's high level of service was so much above the other closet companies service, it was an easy choice to select him for this job. Some examples of his high service were the following: How soon Mike could complete the work: 7 days vs 4 weeks for other companies How soon Mike sent me visual proposal after initial meeting: less than 24 hours vs. 8 days for other companies Knowledge of closet options during initial meeting: Mike's knowledge was expansive and he focused on my needs. The other companies told me how great they were, how Oprah loves them, and how they always get their customer (they did not care about what I wanted for MY closets). Quality of Work: OUTSTANDING, my wife and I absolutely love the look and quality of our new closets! Who does the actual install: Mike does his own work so you know who is going to be in your home the day of the install vs the other companies who were going to contract out the work to individual contractors. I can not say enough good things about my experience with Mike and Creative Closets and Storage. I will be using him for any future closet projects in current condo AND future homes. Their work is guaranteed and the price point is very reasonable!

Mike was responsive and courteous from start to finish. Very friendly, honest and fair. The closets are perfect and affordable. I have recommended him to friends and family.

I searched multiple companies and obtained several quotes to have my master closet professionally designed. I went with this company because they really listened to what I wanted and came back with options to maximize the use of both space and my budget. They quickly turned around a quote and arrived on time the day of the install. All work was performed very neatly and with great attention to not damaging floors, walls, etc. It was obvious that the owner is a carpenter by trade due to the quality of the work and attention to detail. Great company to work with. I cannot wait to get my other closets done!

Called for an estimate and he came out quickly and conveniently to my schedule. He asked what I was looking for and if I had a budget in mind. Was not pushy or trying to upsell. Helped me choose design elements and finishes based on my personal needs and budget. Placed the order and came back to install on time, as scheduled. Installation was quick, clean and detailed. You can tell he is a very detail-oriented individual and that he takes his work seriously. Overall, a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to install closet organizers, garage cabinets, or even pantry organizers or other storage organizers.
