Description of Work: They've done many large & detailed projects for us. Specifically, one was a rebuild of old 1890's victorian windows, using as much of the original material as possible.

Description of Work: Old (1800's old) windows were repaired and parts replaced. This was not an easy job and I contacted numerous companies/people who only wanted to replace the windows. Keep in mind these windows are rounded windows over a century old and with the original glass, ie not replaceable! The windows were taken out, parts replaced, the chalking/sealing redone & repaired. As much of the original windows were kept as possible. This was exactly as I wanted. Josh, the owner, is a great guy. He was more than willing to go above and beyond to get these windows perfect. This was not an inexpensive project to start with, and did get more expensive as it went on. The increase was due to me increasing what was wanted and not due to contractor increases surprising you along the way. Josh accommodated the changes and the "surprises" we found once the window repair was started. The guys who worked with Josh were very clean, very friendly and were checking their work continuously. Their work, and the work of Josh, were bar none excellent quality and, although the price was not the lowest estimate I received, he was the only one I trusted to do the job right, with the highest quality work. Not only would I recommend Josh to anyone who needs work done, I would hire him again in a second.

Description of Work: Installed new roofing, and built a properly made rooftop deck above the same roof outside a bedroom. [this bedroom previously only had the doors leading to a roof that was not really meant for walking on. (although it probably had been previously walked on anyway, previous homeowners had left it unfinished)] ROOFING - Waterproofed/replaced roofing system on existing low sloped roof - new installation on top of existing bitumen.Torch down type, added insulation first for proper pitch/drainage. DECK - Built Roof Deck (composite decking for surface) with Floating framing structure (treated wood), deck weight carried on exterior walls. Proper building materials used throughout, exterior grade joist hangers, nails, screws, sealers, waterproof exterior closed cellfoam sprayed into all bolt connections, etc.
