Craig was made for Angie’s List, because he is an excellent Realtor. From our initial conversation, I felt Craig would be able to cope with my controlling nature. I am older than he, but he treated me as if he were my big brother. Craig gave me the patience, guidance and respect that I had not experienced with other Realtors. He worked with the tenants to show the unit in its best light. When they moved out, he reassessed the unit and advised me to not make costly cosmetic changes. Craig made me aware of the unit’s progress almost daily, either by email, phone or text. He knew I was and out of my depth with this process, but he never let on to it. He patiently explained his sales strategy and I made it mine. The unit was priced at $150,000 and it was not lowered until we needed to negotiate with a buyer. Realtors showed the unit, some surveys and submitted and then into the third month we had an offer. Craig negotiated with the prospect and secured a good price. After being on the market for 93 days, the unit was sold for $143,000. I believe other 2 bedrooms 2 baths units were on the market for 400+ days, in my building. Craig, thank you for 3 months of your brotherly attention.

We made our initial contact with Craig 3 years ago in 2014. We were thinking about moving, contemplating some exterior updates, and were interested in his thoughts. In the early Fall 2016 we were finally ready to take the plunge and list the house. After evaluating seasonal selling trends, we decided to take outdoor photos, with perfect greenery and light, but list after the new year. The listing drew a lot of traffic at open houses and private showings. After an extended period of negotiations, we had 2 serious offers to consider. We accepted the stronger offer, however the back-up offer kept the inspection and appraisal processes moving forward to an on-time close. We truly appreciated Craig's experience and confidence at every step through the process.

We found him on Angies List. He has excellent. He was always puctual and returned our calls promptly if he didn't answer immediately. He prepared a very comprehensive appraisal of what homes were going for in our area. He posted the listing promptly and then helped us go through a few offers. He steered us to real estate attorney who handled things up to the closing. You couldn't look for a better real estate agent.

Craig was great. We've been very happy with our new house. He was very helpful in helping us value the housing market in the neighborhood we wanted to live in - Ravenswood Manor. He's very familiar with Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, North Center etc. He also has a great understanding of all the nuances in buying an older home, and helped us think through what was a real issue vs. not. We got great advice on our negotiation and inspection report, and he recommended our lawyer. Even after the purchase he's given us referrals for contractors for housing projects.

I found Craig through Angie's List based on his reviews. Craig was easy to get a hold of initially and throughout the entire process. He either picked up the phone or got back to me quickly even when he was on vacation.
After our initial meet and greet, we setup up a few appointments based on my inputs. The showings were well planned and refined each time based on our feedback. Craig asked many inquisitive questions to the seller agent and developers that were insightful and educated us on the buying process. We looked at condos, townhomes and houses and before we knew it, he found us a house that fit what we were looking for. It's a new construction house in Portage Park and we love it.
During the initial meet and greet, we were just casually looking without any time constraints and before you know it we were going through the closing process. Met him in November, found a place in December, busy with paper work in January, closed in February and completely moved in by March. He helped out through a few obstacles and we are still in contact. The price was perfect since we were buying and we look forward to working with him in the future as both a buyer and seller agent.
Craig has followed up a few times afterwards for any issues and even mailed us some informational material about the area. He is honest, prompt, prepared and goes that extra mile so we would highly recommend Craig.

I found Craig through Angies List and am very glad to have worked with him. I was selling a condo in Chicago. Craig was particularly helpful in identifying where I needed to make improvements to make the home more attractive to potential home buyers, and his recommendations on tradesmen to perform work. He also did a good job of guiding me through the process and letting me know what to expect at each step. Finally, I think he did an excellent job of positioning the home vs. others in the market to generate as much interest as possible – resulting in getting good offers relatively quickly. This is our second time working with Craig and again we had another great experience. Craig provided excellent advice on getting our house ready for showings. Once our house was ready he did a lot of marketing within his extensive real estate network. Craig held an open house and was able to drive significant traffic through the house resulting in multiple offers. We were only on the market for one-week.

We found Craig via Angie's List. Our first meeting was at a nearby @properties office. He was professional, personable and knowledgeable. He asked probing questions to gauge our interests, experiences and expectations.
After the initial meeting, we starting looking at listings and sent Craig listings to consider. We had very specific desires for location, price and features. There were very few listings that met what we wanted. Craig would encourage us to expand our expectations, to consider compromising on one tn or another. This was always presented in a reasonable, supportive way and helped us further clarify what was truly important to us and what trade offs we could live with.
When we visited properties, he was a font of useful knowledge, pointing out issues to consider, explaining the +'s and -'s.
Eventually we found a property that seemed to be a strong fit: a 3 bedroom condo in River North. Craig was our advocate and negotiator during the buying process, ensuring our expectations were met by the seller. My wife and I met Craig while looking at a property he was showing at an open house. We really liked him from day one and we're really excited when we contacted him to see what we could do. We initially needed some time to get some things in order and told Craig we weren't quite ready yet. He continued to keep in touch with us and when we were ready, he was right there. One of the things that we really appreciated about working with Craig was his honesty with us. Not just about what he thought about the houses we wanted to see but also about where he thought we were in the process. He kept us focused. When you're buying and selling at the same time, timing is everything. We closed on a purchase two weeks prior to our sale. Nuff said. The only mistake I made in hiring Craig was not hiring him first. I originally listed with another broker until I realized the error of my ways. Craig is reliable, communicative, creative, proactive and an all-round nice guy. I owned a townhouse in a very old building that was not quite market-ready. Craig went beyond the call of duty by identifying the problems that could interfere with a sale, hiring
the handyperson to fix them and being there to explain and oversee the work. I just had to write the checks. ?Appreciative? does not begin to describe my feelings towards Craig. Most importantly, Craig was up for every task and never lost his sense of humor.

I met with Craig to discuss selling my condo. During our initial meeting it was easy to see that not only was Craig a decent, pleasant, person, but he was also very competent and experienced. He provided lots of information, an excellent description of the process and several organizational tools to help facilitate the showings. Craig did an analysis of the market considering many factors and I was happy to find out I had the type of unit that was in high demand. As a result I signed up to sell and in a very short time I received a good offer. Craig facilitated the process from beginning through closing minimizing the stress that comes with selling a home. Craig went out of his way to show my place in a way that did not impact my work or leisure time. Overall, I believe I couldn't have selected a better agent.

I was referred to Craig Easly by a good friend of mine. I had been thinking about buying a place for the past couple of years, but being that it felt like a huge commitment and I can be slightly lazy, I hadn't made any real efforts to do so at that point. As soon as my friend put me in touch with Craig, my search took off immediately with no effort from me (a dream come true). The first time I met Craig, we talked for about an hour and went over all the details of the home buying process, including the exact qualities I was looking for, such as price range and location. This was a Thursday. We began our search that Saturday. Craig was able to pick up very quickly on the type of places I did and did not like. At one point, we walked into a condo that I knew was not what I wanted, and without even needing to ask for my opinion, Craig rushed us through the tour and stated that while it was a great place, it would not be a good fit for me. Mind reading is an excellent quality in a Realtor. It only took us a couple of outings for me to hone in on the perfect place (well, once you looked past how the current unit's renters had "decorated," that is). Craig was able to leverage the state of the condo and negotiate an excellent deal. I was very impressed.
Not only did Craig help find the perfect home for me, but he reminded me of all the documents I needed to put together and made sure I was always ready for the next steps. The entire process went smoothly and very quickly, only a couple of months start to finish. If I knew it would be this easy, I would have gone to Craig years earlier. Craig has a great sense of humor and is extremely professional. And if you're the type of person that gets cranky easily after a long day of home viewing (yes I have my flaws), no worries, Craig is stocked with water bottles and snacks at all times to take your hanger (hungry anger) away! I recommend Craig to anyone and everyone, you will not be disappointed!

We were looking for a real estate agent we both could agree on to sell our house. We interviewed Craig Easly to discuss a price point, his process for marketing our property and entertain any suggestions he might have to prepare our property for sale. After talking with Craig, seeing his track record and hearing the various mechanisms he would use to market our property, and as he calls it his "special sauce" for preparing for sale. We both agreed Craig would represent our interests well.
We came to a mutually agreeable price point that we thought the property was worth and that was aligned with the market. The aspect of this process that impressed me the most is that Craig didn't try to talk us down from the value we placed on our house and was willing to work hard to tap into every channel available to sell our house. In addition he made fabulous recommendations to present our house in the best possible fashion and condition to appeal to the majority.

During our initial consultation, Craig was extremely prepared with area comps and his thoughts on where we might price our condo. We had been renting it out for 7 years and still had renters living in the condo when we put in on the market. Craig gave us good recommendations on how to stage with renters in the condo and was great about communicating directly with them when it came time for showings. With both of us working full time, juggling kid's school/activities, and not living close to the condo we were trying to sell, Craig really helped take care of things we didn't have time to deal with. Once our renters moved out, he recommended a cleaning service and took care of arranging the details, including meeting them there. He also recommended an excellent staging company to help with the sales process, once our tenants moved out. Again, he took care of all the details and arrangements and oversaw the move-in of staging furniture. Once we used the staging company, we had an offer in just a few weeks. He prepared excellent marketing materials with amazing photography, which is an important tool Additionally, he shared detailed notes on all the showings. During the offer negotiation process, he was able to get us to where we wanted to be. Craig was extremely responsive throughout the selling process, from the very beginning to the final phases. I would not hesitate to recommend Craig as a realtor and would use him again.

I first met with Craig on 2/12, having identified him on Angie's list as my top choice. He helped me through the apartment prep, photos, price-setting, listing, showing. It was listed 2/25 and I had three offers (and more in the wings) and a signed contract 2/27-cash offer, $20k above asking, closing on my schedule (in early June)!
