+ -1 moreConstruction Consultants/Bill O'Hara did not complete the work. We are currently in the process of taking them to court for breach of contract. The company never did give us our final plans. It is now January 24, 2007 and we hired them May 5, 2006. Bill O'Hara lied to us month after month, promising our final plans and never delivering. We demolished our front porch in Sept. 2006 based on a mutually agreed upon timeline. We've had no porch since then. The last we heard from Bill was Oct. 18, 2006. He called us to let us know that the plans would be ready for us that afternoon. They were not. We have not had any communication from him since that time, despite repeated phone calls and emails on our end. We reported him to the Better Business Bureau. He did not acknowledge their requests. Our requests for our money back have gone unanswered. I urge you to check the BBB website.
Description of Work: We hired Construction Consultants on 5/5/06. Our contract included completed permit drawings for the construction of new front entry stair and garden. All plans were to be in compliance with city of Chicago building and zoning codes. A bill of materials was to be included in drawings. Their services included completing the permit process with the city of Chicago for approval of the proposed work. Services were $3,500 total, $1800 of which we paid upfront.
