Excellent service

They have a great pricing strategy. If they are unable to fix it, you pay nothing. If they successfully repair it, you pay $75, cash or check only. Replacing my mom's machine with similar quality would cost hundreds of dollars, so it was a no-brainer. They called me the following day to let me know it was ready. In addition to fixing the problem, they gave my machine a complete tune-up. It's running beautifully again. It's so nice to have a quality repair option in our disposable world. This machine means a lot to me.

The provider was very informative and explained why the machine wasn't responding the way it was supposed to.

I took my everyday machine (a Pfaff) in one afternoon and it was done overnight. The cost wasless than I paid years ago. And it runs soooo much smoother and quieter. I left my travel machine (a Bernina) when I picked thefirst one up. Again, quick, efficient service. The sergers will be next. I'm so happy to have found a good, knowledgeable repairshop in the city. The only lesson I had to learn was to call first to make sure they're there. They do factory repair calls and sometimes are not in the shop.

Couldn't have gone better. On time and a reasonable price. Complete sewing machine is a service center for commercial sewing machines, but the owner is happy to do work for non-commercial clients.

I use a Singer featherweight from the 1940s both because it's adequate for my needs and a sentimental item from my grandmother, but it threads opposite to younger Singers along with some other idiosyncracies and so from time to time I mess up and jam it badly. The fellows at Complete are always wonderful when I need them -- reassuring and accommodating over the phone, cheerful and engaged in person, very analytical the way a repair person should be, wanting to know how you were using the machine. I dropped it off one afternoon and could pick it up the next. hey not only solved the problem and tuned it up, but left it set up with the tension adjusted for my challenging thread-type. They urged me use to support the bottom of the case when I carried it out rather than just using the top handle -- I walked out feeling like I was taking a new puppy home. These gentlemen always turn a stressful situation into a positive one, with a very reasonable hourly rate.

My 30 year old sewing machine suddenly stopped working. I found this company through Angie's List; it was in my neighborhood so it was convenient for me to drop my machine off late in the afternoon. By 11:00 the next morning, I was called and told that the work was completed. The machine is as good as new, maybe better!

I saw positive things on Angie's List about Complete Sewing. My machine was acting up so I took it in, not knowing if it just needed a cleaning, or something more involved. I forgot the pedal so I said I'd drop it off the next morning. I went back w/ the pedal and the machine had been given lots of TLC and was ready for me to take it home. The owner was very friendly, shared a couple of tips with me and sent me on my way. I highly recommend him.

Down-to-earth prices and FAST! Will give an honest opinion on whether an old machine is worth fixing.

The owners were very nice and professional. Both times I went to the shop there was a parking space right in front. I will go back there for my annual sewing machine maintenance.
