+ 3 moreFrancisco came the next day to give me the quote. When I said yes, he told me he would come by the next day to pick up 1/2 the money as a deposit so they could buy the materials. He didn't come. He called the next day and said that since it was a relatively small project, I could just pay him the day the work would be done. We settled on Monday at 9:30 AM for them to get started. On Monday at 10 AM, I called to find out where he was. He said that he & his crew were still in Evanston finishing a project, and they would stop by to buy my materials and come to my house next. That would take several hours. I told him that since this was the second time he didn't follow through on what we had agreed I didn't want him to do the work. I am disappointed that I was kept waiting and have nothing to show for it. I do not recommend Francisco & Jose Ayala Remodeling. By the way, Francisco speaks a little English but is more comfortable talking in Spanish.
Description of Work: Francisco gave us a quote to move two closet doors, drywall, paint, and add molding where the old doors were located. He quoted $550 for all the work, including all materials.
