One individual pretty much did the work, Bruno. He is a top-notch journeyman. Construction started with cracking the floor to do the plumbing work for the bathroom, and proceeded from there. Being that he is only one person (occasionally another professional would help, but not often), it took longer than the estimate and I expect the company wasn't pleased, but the extra effort showed in the results. Bruno and I disagreed on some things, but he talked me through his position, and frequently I changed my mind - for the better. I can't say enough good things about the quality of Bruno's work. He did all the plumbing, electrical, flooring and dry wall and has many years of experience. His English is a little challenged sometimes, but his work ethic is unparalleled, as is the terrific results of his work.
Description of Work: Complete finish of a 1200 square foot basement. Small bath, bar area, exercise, crafting, storage and entertainment areas. Dry walled all ceilings and walls. Vinyl flooring (which people still mistake for real wood), flood lights in ceiling and electrical outlet, stairs, closet, plumbing for bath and bar areas. An estimate was done by Perfect Struction, Vigo. I had gotten several estimates to compare. Vigo listened to what I wanted, made a graphical representation, gave me a detailed estimate and was specific about what they paid for with my fee, and what I needed to get on my own. They handled all the construction type materials. I bought the cabinetry, sink, toilet and countertops. Other vendors either were higher priced, or didn't offer a price up front that was detailed enough. I knew exactly what I would be charged with these guys and it held true. I changed my mind on a few things and was appropriately charged, but they made other smaller changes for no additional charge.
