The workers at Commercial Drapery & Upholstery were on time. Their prices were reasonable. They knew what they were doing. Some of their jobs were unsatisfactory.

Our 8 year old couch developed tears in the fabric. Based on high marks on Angie's list, I called Mr. Lepley, and he returned my call promptly. He was able to schedule a time to come to our house within 48 hours, and was able to accommodate my work schedule with an early appointment time (7 a.m.). He asked me over the phone what general color categories were we looking for, and showed up promptly at 7 a.m. on the scheduled day with 10 very high quality fabric sample books. I was able to find a number of samples that I liked, and he went forward with quoting and ordering (all that same day) the fabric. He picked up the couch a couple of days later, completely reconditioned and reupholstered it, and dropped it off within a total time frame of 3 weeks--exactly the time frame he had quoted. We were very pleased with Mr. Lepley's/Commercial Drapery and Upholstery's professionalism, knowledge, and workmanship. Mr. Lepley was also very good about keeping me up-to-date on the work and the schedule. He has since called back to check on the work, and ask if I would like him to drop off some of the excess trimmed material to have in case we need it in the future. We will definitely use Commercial Drapery and Upholstery again!

We are very happy with our new cushions and pillows. Wally came out when he said he would and was always on time for our meetings. He explained everything clearly, left us samples and pieces of foam to test. We had some tricky conditions and he made recommendations of what would and would not work. He really knows his business. We will most definitely use him again.

He came out and brought fabrics that we thought would go good with it. The pricing was a little high but he came recomended by Angie's list and another person I knew. The chair looks great. It is a sewing chair, with arms on either side and although the finish is distressed, he said it looked fine. He did tell us what we could do to take care of the wood on the chair in the future.

Never have we felt so bad about not giving someone our business. Mr. Lepley came to our house with a variety of fabric samples and to evaluate the job. He taught us everything we needed to be informed consumers in this area. We learned a lot about how to choose fabrics, what "wear ratings" in sample books meant, and how important it is to look at fabrics in ALL the kinds of light the furniture will ultimately be seen in; e.g., day, night, sun, overcast, fluorescent. We were so impressed by Mr. Lepley s expertise that we gave him a chance to re-bid when he was just not close enough to the best bid, but he told us if the competition could do the work as described we should go with them. Kudos to an honest merchant!

Mr. Lepley came by to provide a quote for each service and I called him back a few weeks later to proceed. He is very professional and knows his stuff. He is considerate, polite and very timely. Both items took about 2 weeks to make and return/install. He also works with my schedule and comes by first thing in the morning, before I go to work.

The cushions were finished on time and done expertly.

Mr. Lepley came to our house within a day or two of our call to him. He brought 4 upholstery sample books. We choose a new fabric. He took the seats with him, re-upholstered them (and made the cushion much better) and delivered them back to us 11 days later. They look great.

Mr. Lepley responded to my call immediately, and dropped by my home the same day to speak with me about the work I needed to be done. He took two as a sample, and the work was excellent. He was patient while I ordered more fabric, and then finished the balance of the chairs.

THE WORK WAS GREAT! THE PICK UP AND DROP OFF TOTALLY MET MY NEEDS. MR. LEPLEY IS VERY INFORMATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL.

HE GIVES FREE ESTIMATES, HAS FABRICS OR WILL USE YOURS, MAKES NEW BLINDS, VALENCES, DRAPERIES, ETC, AND WILL CLEAN AND RE-PLEAT DRAPERIES/WINDOW TREATMENTS. HE IS IN HIGH DEMAND BECAUSE HE'S SO GOOD. HIS PRICES ARE COMPETITIVE, HE DOES THE INSTALLATION HIMSELF, AND IS WILLING TO COME TO LAKE BLUFF.
