+ -1 moreRay came and gave an estimate. I thought the work would cost several hundred dollars. He told me $190. He came promptly on the day we arranged. I had left him a tube of caulk for the tub. Apparently the caulk I chose was junk and he tried to make it work but ended up going out and buying better caulk to finish the job. He did not charge me for the caulk or the extra time, though I argued that it was my fault for choosing bad caulk. All of the other fixes were performed perfectly. Ray is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He truly cares about doing a good job at a fair price. He is easy to communicate with. I will never use anyone else.
Description of Work: I am a single mom and I needed several small repairs around my house: re-caulk the tub, replace a stairway railing that had fallen down, replace a bent closet door track, re-install a towel rack that had been pulled out of the wall, replace some trim molding that had come off, and replace the lock on my exterior door that had been pushed in when someone was locked out.
